I always ask if something is halal before purchasing. I travel the whole entire world and not everywhere has certificates. I’ve been to many countries that don’t use halal certificate and I wouldn’t expect street food stands to have certificates. I hoped the man wasn’t lying to me. Allah knows best.

Assalamualaikum bro waleed. We as fans are very worried if waleed always goes to non-Muslim food places. there, most Muslims do not know that there is non-halal food. no halal logo on their stall. If you ask a non-Muslim whether this chicken is halal, they will think it is halal. but in terms of slaughtering and cooking ingredients, we don't know if they use halal ingredients or not. if you have doubts, don't eat there. I was surprised that uncle didn't know Palestine. We nest bro waleed go to the night market where all are muslim. Waleed can do research on where the Muslim night market is. If Bro Waleed wants to eat halal Chinese food, you can go to a Muslim Chinese stall (which wears a songkok/cap on his head and is staff by Muslim women).

Yup dorang dh terbiasa dgn environment kt sana tak mcm kt sini. Sbb in the western world susah sngt nk dpt makanan halal so usually dorang beli je dari non muslim seller as long as benda tu x involve babi/alcohol etc. Mcm anak buah aku lahir and membesar di ireland, walaupun dia keturunan melayu malaysia. Aku tngk dia relax je beli and makan dari non muslim as long x involve daging/arak etc. Dorang makan je as long as x was2 sbb dh terbiasa. So kita kat malaysia yg senang dpt makanan halal x perlu nk culture shock sngt la the way dorang bawak diri 😂 sbb environment membesar x sama, pemikiran x sama.

Tambah pulak malaysia negara muslim lagi la dorang x was was bila makan. Mcm waleed ni dibesarkan kt US plus dia mmng seorang traveler, so xpelik sngt pun cara dia mecem tu.

Brother, you still need to be alert and make sure that the food you choosing is really a 'halal' food..Because not all of the food you find in Jonkerwalk is 100% halal..
Yeah, Surely when you asking them about the food, they with honest will notice you truly and not gonna lie that they concern and only sell a halal food to a muslim people.. especially if they knows that you're muslim..
But the problem here is 'Halal' according to what they believe and understand is a food wlithout pork's, and a drinking water which serve with no alcohol..As simple as that.. game over! Sadaq Allahul 'Azim..!
So with that kind of logic and perspective, they believe that the food they sells to our muslim people is already considerly as a 'Halal' food..and this absolutely is not their fault to believe something like that..
Regardless of other aspects that been use for cooking, for example: pots, spoons, plates and bowls , it is absolutely cant be use the same things that been used to cook a non-halal food and then re- cooked it back for a muslim..
animals like cows or chicken that is used for cooking must be slaughtered first according to the laws and syariat of Islam,
To see that the food we find around in our daily lives seems normal and we're still had no problem with that and still not sensitive or pay attention with with that slowly erodes our faith, it will also be the cause of dragging us into the pit of hell..
