Logitech G610, possibly. The LEDs are a tad on the cool white side, tho they are white, and not RGB. The lights do default to a breathing kind of wave thing without any driver installed, tho the Logitech software dose have a constant on mode that can be used. Also, the G610 dose not use a regular key on the keyboard layout to control the back light brightness, there is a dedicated brightness button up by the media buttons. So no hijacked keys to control the LEDs. If your looking for a RGBW rather then a RGB keyboard, I am not aware of one at this time.
Just got it from Bestbuy today, very solid keyboard, has everything I want: no stupid RGB, usb pass through, braided cable, small footprint, numberpads, simple backlight...Romer G is like Cherry MX brown with a little bit noisy. I think for $90, you cannot beat it. BTW: logitech seems have so much better QC comparing to Corsair, CM, etc.
Walter Antonio Alba An I had about 15 years ago Bull keyboard with Cherry Switches, and this keyboard was on DIN connector (could work with ps2 with change switch) and it INDESCTRUCRIABLE! Two beers, whiskey, champaign spoil into it and... Still working! Just washing buttons :p And after so long I got this g413 and I am happy :) of course I had different about 6 or 8 keyboards after this Bull...
Got it today, really satisfied with it. While I always recommend testing the switches out yourself, these are among the best ones I've used. It is basically a small G810 with an even better design (imo), just without RGB lightning and dedicated function buttons and volume slider. This is all acessible with the FN button and the F7-F12 keys.
I like their new approach of ditching the all plastic housing and for a more premium look with the aluminium casing. For 89$ its a good choice if you are not nitpicky about switches and only want a mechanical switch. For me personally, anything that doesn't have a CherryMX switch doesn't cut it. But Romer-G is a trusted switch. Also those extra switches is a good option, if anything at least the included key-cap puller will come in handy for cleaning. Downside -- since it's not Cherry standard stems, you're out of luck with customizing it. Overall a decent keyboard I'd say.
I speak from a personal experience with a Romer-G keyboard in Best Buy when I say that membrane keys feel better. Romer-G's feel clogged up and just nasty. Even Razer, who people like to hate on so much, makes a better keyboard.
And HarwareCanucks always praises the Romer-G, and it's just plain annoying. They don't feel good at all. That's why the only Logitech gaming keyboard I would buy would be the G610 Orion Brown, as it uses Cherry MX Browns. If they remove that from their lineup...
Rahul Katre thats all down to user preference. the romer-g for some may feel good for others it may not. hardwarecanucks finds them good. in my personal opinion it aint to bad tho.(but thats just ny opinion others may think differently).
its all about personal preference, i tested reds blues and browns from Cherry MX, Razer Greens and Romer G, and hands down for me Romer G was the best one for me, and i hated the reds, i just cant, they made my fingers sting after a short while, Razer Greens are great, same with Cherry brown, would pick those if i couldnt get Romer G on the first place
i think they are like first time using mechanical keyboard...because when we use membrane keyboard ...we require more force ...because of that maybe they just purchased that new keyboard...and using it first time ...made this i assume you got my point ty
picked up the G610 with cherry mx red switches at best buy last black Friday for $50 (50% off all Logitech peripherals) definitely worth the money, I've had no real complaints.
DJHeroMasta in Germany we've got a brand that offers a full mechanical, rgb keyboard for 60$. The switches are perfectly good, full metal, and looks awesome. Idk why they don't sell it worldwide.
Had this keyboard for a while now and I love it. The faster actuation speed is not just for show, if play a lot you really feel it. The led backlight is very even thanks to the romer-g, and the build quality is just awesome: nice and heavy, aluminium plated, thicc cable. Really, don't hesitate.
does this g413 keyboard start developing issues like a few months into use ? Ive read about switch presses not registering or registering incorrectly as in multiple times, or the stem mounts of the keycaps breaking off ... have you had any issues of the sort ? thanks
Very lucky indeed. Mine is one year old. And the left control button has broken, escape button falls off, and scroll lock (volume down) button stopped responding.
I don't understand all of the hate in the comments for the Romer-G switches. I upgraded to a G810 after some of the Cherry MX Browns in my last keyboard started to go, and I'm actually a lot happier with how this one performs. The reduced travel distance and punchy actuation feels great to me. They definitely don't feel like mushy and vague membrane keyboards. I guess everyone has their own preferences, but these don't really strike me as being much different than browns.
Amazing Mr. X true, if someone loves the, razer green or MX blue. then there's need to answer the question do you like Romer G or MX red or browns. it's a matter of preferences after all. I started from green razer but I transitioned into Romer Gs and despite the clicky I like the feed in Romer Ga
I have tested Cherry blues, red and browns, also the razer greens and i own a Romer-g G910, and it feels like a slightly softer brown, but with th response of a cherry red, or even a speed one. The Romer G switches are pretty much my favorites, they are great if you are slightly heavy on your keyboard, and i totally hate the reds, they made my fingers hurt a little to be honest since they dont have any time of "cushion", i would personally pick Razer Greens if i couldnt pick Romer G, their feedback is pretty amazing, pretty much on par with cherry browns but with more clicky. but if you are an office guy that has to write a lot, blues are the best ones for that hands down, writing speeds with no typos on it is amazing
I think I don't mind Romer-G normally but the stabilizers (large keys) are horrible and make it feel extra mushy. Once you go Costar stabilizers you don't go back.
I find them more reliable than the old Costar type wire stabilizers on my last keyboard. Could be the quality of the metal talking, as Razer likes to cheap out even when using quality components elsewhere, but it was possible to depress the space bar and other keys unevenly. Didn't always matter but there were times in gaming scenarios where I'd miss certain actions by hitting the edge of the key cap and not get enough force down the center of the key to complete a physical stroke. The thing would just immediately stall out under my finger and resist moving, which never felt particularly good to me when it happened. I guess it helps that the Romer-G switches don't depress as far on each stroke, and count as a press somewhere higher in the stroke itself, but whatever stabilizers Logitech are using they definitely are doing their job. I can't say I've had any problems hitting the bigger keys since buying this, even from odd angles. Still, I wouldn't personally describe the strokes as mushy, even on the space bar. It's hardly rigid, but I've never tried another keyboard that was any better. The Costar wire stabilizers have some slack in them too, it's part of the reason you can still take the caps off with them in there.
We're all free to our opinions; I have extensive use with the romer-g and they feel distinctly unmechanical. Not membrane, but not close to any of cherry's switches.
Just bought the keyboard and setting it up. Only thing I would love is for Logitech to put in printed key bindings or some instructions how to operate lightning and similar.
This keyboard stopped working properly after a year. Keys kept jamming intermittently to a point where I had to enter my windows password 3 - 4 times to sign in... Sent it to Logitech and they couldn't replace it for lack of stock and told me they will reimburse the purchase cost. Still waiting for that cheque. Also there are bunch of other folks who had the same problem after using it for a year .
This keyboard was ok for a while but you can't swap out the keycaps because they're nonstandard and the keyswitches have nonstandard tops. The switches are soldered in as well which isn't great. My G413 has several failing keys after about a year.
I actually got it at Target for about $69, and I am very happy with it. The switches feel so nice and I don't mind the red lighting scheme of it. In fact, I might get another case so that it fits with it. Luckily, I have a Ryzen system so it will feel exclusively welcome.
I bought this keyboard a year ago. Now, one year later it's absolutely broke. half of the keys only work after pressing them several times, then at other times they'll register twice... absolute thrash board.
Just bought the white LED one and its absolutely great. The keys are simply a delight to press and the tactile response feels good for extended hours of typing.
does this g413 keyboard start developing issues like a few months into use ? Ive read about switch presses not registering or registering incorrectly as in multiple times, or the stem mounts of the keycaps breaking off ... any indications of the sort ?
got the silver one... love the clean design... as compact as possible for a full size, no annoying extra buttons but still having the option of multimedia keys... love the weight and how sturdy it feels... love that is has backlight without annoying RGB lightshow and without backlight leak... love that switches and keycaps stick out of the base so it's easy to blow out the dirt... comparing to my old keyboards, keypresses are very sensitive and I still have to get used to it to avoid misclicks, but that's my problem... the feeling when typing is excellent... if it was hotswappable so we had an option to change switches if/when they start misperforming, it would be the perfect keyboard for me and would probably have it for life...
I would rather say hello to Cougar Attack X3 mechanical keyboard. This was purchased as a gift and they are very happy with it. The keys work very well and respond quickly. It is much better than the wireless key board that was used before.
I have owned this for 2 years and it is fantastic, the back-light is great for night time use (red is good for this), and light level is controllable. Gaming is flawless and the switches are not "Clacky" in use.
Do yours feel hard to press? This thing puts so much more strain on my fingers than the $30 steelseries non mechanical one i got from walmart. I literally have to mash these :/
For all of you complaining about the "only 90$". Y'all broke as shit. It's a thing you are going to use almost everyday. If you use it 360 times a year, thats legit like 0.25 cents a day. Y'all broke as shit.
I never said you should be embarrassed for being poor. You should be embarrassed for complaining about a 90$ equipment when most high end or good keyboards start at 120. If you can't save up 90$ in a month, rethink your fuking life. or maybe you are just 13. Ask your mom for money.
It becomes something to be embarrased about when you're wasting your time complaining on the internet about a product that costs 90$. (Instead of searching for a propper job or doing something productive)
Not everyone has alot of money. But I know what you're talking about, it's something that's quality and you're gonna use everyday. If you want something like that performing well for at least a year of everyday use you're gonna have to pay for that, not everything can be cheap.
Just bought this on sale at Target for $65 after my keyboard died... seriously impressed! I am a programmer and type A LOT... After using it for the day I think I would take these switches over Cherry MX
I have had this keyboard for 4 months now and i am starting to have a problem, up to now it was great but my z/w switch started not functioning when I pressed other switches so I dont know if its just me that has this problem.
First G413 starting ghosting certain keys (double clicking) and as if that was not enough, the control key's flimsy plastic pins broke off and embedded themselves into the key switch. Local dealership would not exchange it, but Logitech central stepped up. Got a second brand new G413, the color of keys a, s, and e is chipping off within 3 months of moderate use already. Logitech's quality has really gone to the toilet, my next keyboard will be built by anyone else but them.
yes, I would get one of these in TKL form myself. I'm tempted to get the G Pro, but I don't really want to spend that much for lighting and other features that I literally never use.
Using that bad boy now - it's a definite step forward from MX Blacks (had Steelseries 6Gv2 for about 2 years), from tactile feelings it seems like a mushed version of MX Blues (didn't use those too much, had a brief gaming session around 45 minuttes).
I have the 810. I’d rather have this because I like how you don’t have to have the software to get rid of that annoying rgb rainbow and the aluminum finish
The black paint started wearing off the W A S D keys after about a year of use, logitech sent replacement keys (They sent a bag complete with every keycap) unfortunately 4 months later they're also starting to lose paint its the only keyboard Ive ever owned with this problem. Keyboard still works like new otherwise no mechanical problems.
My left control button has broken. The escape key falls off. And my scroll lock button (volume down) has stopped responding. Avoid purchasing this garbage keyboard. Nothing perfect about it. Edit: I own this keyboard barely a year.
Are romer-g's rubbish? I'm trying to decide between Logitech G910 Orion Spectrum and Razer Blackwidow Chroma V2 (green switches). I'm using a G710+ w/MX Browns right now btw.
AverySegaw Well I've been using it since the day it came out, so like 4 years. Some of the backlights have died off and the volume switch doesn't work sometimes, and I want to upgrade to more modern hardware generally. It has mx browns so they're tactile and silent switches, but not as tactile feeling as razer greens or mx blues. I typed at my friend's razer blackwidow and it was amazing. I don't care about the noise. I don't play competitive games, so for gaming it doesn't really matter.
I have both a cherry red and a romer g keyboard, I think a lot of people haven't really been willing to really give the roamer g's a test run because its kind of different from the cherry mx and cherry clone switches. the tactile bump n roamer gs is quite drastic in comparison to cherry browns and I think thats why other people are saying it feels like there is something under the keys. Also if you care a lot about RGB Roamer g wins every time. Others thoughts would include I feel like its a lot more quite than my cherry reds when bottoming out, but this may be due to always bottoming out because there is no tactile bump and im bottoming out much harder.
LieutenantBill Romer g is like something around cherry mx brown. If you like blue, go for cherry mx blue, but be sure you test the keyboards before you buy 1 on them. I have a logitech g410 with romer g and is awsome !
LieutenantBill If you are looking for more tactility then look into Cherry MX Clears. Do dedicated media buttons and macros matter? If not then you can move away from gaming boards. If you decide on going for blues, I'd recommend looking at either a Magicforce with Gateron switches or some of Cooler Master's offerings as a starting point.
bought one for 40$ Motospeed CK 104 and works great, with great build quality and it uses copy of Cherry MX Blues but still good quality and a little louder Outemu Blue Switches, its available in Brown and Red variants too.
You can't just try them, you have to use them to really enjoy them imo, I tried it at bestbuy wasn't a huge fan, but asked if i could return and they told me i could return even if open within 30 days, after a week of using it for gaming/typing, they became my favorite switch to use
Looks like a great candidate for a typing keyboard. Would love to try it for work. Also it just looks sexy, 0 "gamer" aesthetic on it. 10/10 would buy.
i do not buy the g810 because it does not have many features that the g,like the USB PASSTHROUGH or the gaming keycaps.Longitech can make a other version of the G413 like the corsair strafe RGB
I took a gamble on the switches, but with first press, I loved them. I absolutely love typing on these. I hear they are like an MX Brown, although probably a bit shorter throw. I've never used browns, but I always wanted them or something like them. These are perfect. Feel better than reds in my opinion, but they are slightly different though. My Corsair keyboard with reds now feel like the keys are so much taller since I am used to this keyboard. Also I missed having a numpad, though at the time I had a very narrow cheap desk so I couldn't really fit a full sized keyboard. I can just keep typing and typing on this thing. Only downside to me is not being able to change the color from red, but still red looks amazing.
One thing I don't understand from this channel. It's called HardwareCanucks, yet you guys only mention the US pricing. Saying that it cost "ONLY" 89$ doesn't do shit when it's actually 120$CAD...
Everyone’s experience may differ. But here is my negative exprrience: TLDR; quality control on these roamer g switches are trash. I have sent it for RMA 4 times in a span of about a year and a half. The goods:1) Build quality of the chassis is great. Solid aluminum build 2) good lighting and usb passthrough 3) price very appealing even at it’s original retail price of $89 The bads: 1) cable is not detachable 2) abs plastic on the keycaps will wear off very quickly. With everyday use, expect only
What's wrong with the Romer G? Personally I have a 810, and I can't go back to Cherry MX. Even the Cherry MX 6.0 Pro doesn't match the smoothness of the Romer G despite being one of the most comfortable keyboard I ever tested. Well, I guess it's just a matter of personal taste. I love the 810. I just wished they make low profile caps like the Cherry MX 6.0.
I switched from my Corsair Strafe RGB to a Logitech G Pro keyboard. Gotta say I didn't feel too much about the Romer-G switches at first, but after writing about 2 pages of my dissertation, I AM SOLD. The shorter key travel makes my fingers able to type much faster and not feel so fatigued as compared to the Cherry MX Speed switches in the Strafe. If you love short travel mechanical keystrokes, Romer-G is great!
another thing to remember is that Romer-G switches were made with gaming as the #1 priority. Also this was Logitech's first switch so they will only get better.
Looks like Logitech has outdone themselves this time in the design department. While I think the smaller G Pro was great too, the 2 buttons on top ruined the overall aesthetic for me. The only beef I have is with the cable placement, which should be centered for a more uniformed look. Also, it would be good to release a white LED version for people who wants a more neutral colour scheme. Other than that, it's perfect!
For the price, this really is the perfect keyboard under $100. Build quality is stellar, it's more compact than other full sized Logitech mechanical keyboards, and the brushed aluminum really gives a premium feel. Too bad there's not an RGB version of this but what you get for the price, this is a fantastic keyboard. Edit: The typing experience feels a bit different when the keys bottom out because they tap the brushed aluminum versus the Logitech PRO when those keys bottom out they tap plastic.
Kinda late to this video so idk if this comment will help anybody however, I'll still write it. I've had this keyboard for almost 2 years now and here are my takes, the switches on this keyboard are actually amazing and pressing the keys is easy and nice, almost no force needed for the same effect, the lightning is actually good and just looks satisfying and clean with the perfect shade of red however that's it, you can not have RGB or even change to any other color. so far when i bought the keyboard i was extremely happy with it. however now, i found some flaws, mainly in the keys themselves. the keys seem to be just transparent keys painted over them making the paint simply scratch off after a fair use, also the keys are being held into the keyboard by a simple plastic stick that after not that long of usage can break and if the plastic stick gets stuck inside the keyboard (which has happened to me) getting it out and replacing it with a new one is very hard, that would be if you even managed to find replacement, it is very hard to find a replacement for this keyboards' keys, let alone in my country its impossible, making me buy a new keyboard after not even 2 years.
I bought mine around 2 or 3 years ago and had the same issue with breaking sticks while taking off/inserting the keys. Also I found out that Logitech kbs are prone to key chattering ("double typing") after some time. Multiple keys are now being funky for me but I'm not sure if that's a issue with the switches or something different. The Keyboard itself is really wonderful but there seems to be no solution for this problem, except send it back to logitech as long as it still has warranty. Did you encounter any other issues during your two year use?
Avoid buying keyboards with RomerG switches, the keycap stems will easily break within few months and render the key almost useless. I bought the same one, and having the same problem. Finding replacement keys is also a pain. Several keys are also getting registered twice. Would not recommend.
These keyboards look very solid, pretty nice. But personally I'm not a fan of missing wrist wrests. It would be awesome if you could take a look at the Roccat Ryos MK FX, as there are almost no professional reviews :)
I don't understand all the hate for the Romer-G switches. I bought a G910 Spectrum a few months back and I've honestly never been happier with a keyboard. It actually replaced my Black Widow Chroma as my main board.
Just got this for $65.00 at Target. i was really against solid red but seeing the price of some of the RGB's yeah I decided to go with this one. It seems really neat so far.
Personally I'm glad this keyboard doesn't come with rgb lighting, as that's always felt like a gimmick to needlessly raise the cost of a keyboard without adding any real functionality.
Love Rommer G. Lighting fast with a very slight bump. Plus I love how the lighting is right in the middle of the keys. I belive this is only possible with the G switches.
Of course, it's 125$ in Switzerland. Makes sense, especially considering the fact that I live 20 mins away from Logitech's HQ.
/facepalm
Yeah, I live in Zürich. Feels bad, too.
laughed way too hard when I read your comment, dude.
How about just sneak up and steal it from their HQ? LMAO
I've been to Zurich and Bazel and over there it's expensive asf

Corsair K68 is a great alternative. Even got mine for $69.
"works right out of the box" well I sure hope so lol
Nah, you have to wait 2-3 weeks for it to work
Thought the exact same xD
Lol. I think he's referring to some of the other keyboards where you need to install a bit of software in order to make them fully work
A quick suggestion for your videos is that you should include a sound/type test
Believe me, it feels/sounds/types fucking amazing. Perfect.
is it like a cherry mx blue switch?
@@tieff-w4l not really, they are more like Cherry MX Brown switches
@@Metzaroid that's weird actually, since they're supposed to be like Cherry MX Red switches and Linear, aka no tactile bumps of sound

Why can't they incorporate WHITE LED only?
But doesn't look good and is Best Buy exclusiv which isn't available to me.

Solid keyboard 😀 Seriously, you can use this thing as a weapon.
Sound test or type test? That's pretty important for any mechanical keyboard review. Else good work :)
well i bought it for 80 euros in germany and its the best keyboard i ever had.
I recommend you to buy it!
Have you had any issues with it?
@@socas_nic nah solid overall, no problems
@@sxd_4563 Im thinking of getting g413, but I'm kinda worried cuz I see a lot of people saying that keys start to malfunction after some time...
@@Robiero never happended to me, this keyboard for its 89$ is worth no doubt, no worries you wont have any problems
Just bought the keyboard and setting it up. Only thing I would love is for Logitech to put in printed key bindings or some instructions how to operate lightning and similar.
Nice just bought one for myself as well.
PS Craft it started to double press like 3 months after I bought it
This keyboard was ok for a while but you can't swap out the keycaps because they're nonstandard and the keyswitches have nonstandard tops. The switches are soldered in as well which isn't great. My G413 has several failing keys after about a year.
This would have been prefect, if it wasnt for the red lighting. White would haven't cost more and I would have bought it. Too bad :(
Basti378 yeah bad choice for them making the silver version with white LEDs a Best Buy exclusive
Keys are chattering, use Isopropyl alcohol and clean it properly.
Just bought the white LED one and its absolutely great. The keys are simply a delight to press and the tactile response feels good for extended hours of typing.
does this g413 keyboard start developing issues like a few months into use ? Ive read about switch presses not registering or registering incorrectly as in multiple times, or the stem mounts of the keycaps breaking off ... any indications of the sort ?
good review, video edit, voice recording and mixing.. gj keep doin
got the silver one...
love the clean design... as compact as possible for a full size, no annoying extra buttons but still having the option of multimedia keys... love the weight and how sturdy it feels...
love that is has backlight without annoying RGB lightshow and without backlight leak...
love that switches and keycaps stick out of the base so it's easy to blow out the dirt...
comparing to my old keyboards, keypresses are very sensitive and I still have to get used to it to avoid misclicks, but that's my problem... the feeling when typing is excellent...
if it was hotswappable so we had an option to change switches if/when they start misperforming, it would be the perfect keyboard for me and would probably have it for life...
"Hey guys this is going to be a quick one"
*sees the time*
7 minutes huh
Looks like the best option under this price. I use Romer-G a few years and I have tried most of the switches. Romer-G is my favorite.
I really dislike red backlight, would prefer white much better
Jvanmax There is a white LED, Silver aluminum version
I would rather say hello to Cougar Attack X3 mechanical keyboard. This was purchased as a gift and they are very happy with it. The keys work very well and respond quickly. It is much better than the wireless key board that was used before.
This Keyboard is now on sale for 50$ in my country , should i buy it?
Yes
I have owned this for 2 years and it is fantastic, the back-light is great for night time use (red is good for this), and light level is controllable. Gaming is flawless and the switches are not "Clacky" in use.
Yes, is the PERFECT mechanical keyboard!!!
Do yours feel hard to press? This thing puts so much more strain on my fingers than the $30 steelseries non mechanical one i got from walmart. I literally have to mash these :/
@@Dyl_Cam The required force is pretty light compared to the average mechanical keyboard. Maybe you just prefer membrane keyboards.
Just bought em! can't wait! Their G Pro series is nothing short of high quality.
For all of you complaining about the "only 90$".
Y'all broke as shit.
It's a thing you are going to use almost everyday. If you use it 360 times a year, thats legit like 0.25 cents a day.
Y'all broke as shit.
deming xie yeah man everyones poor in these fucking comment sections lmao its embarassing
+King Mon Being poor is not something to be embarrassed about, your logic is childish. Let them be...
Here in Chile it costs 165 dollars
rip
These videos are a lot better when you don't assume everybody has experience with other products that you compare it to.
3:00 OMFG that's a perfect shot!
Got this for £54, its arriving tommorow, stoked for it!
@Light Yagami yh keys feel nice, and build quality is solid, keys dony click or anything but it definitely feels nicer than any membrane ive tried
I use a g810, i like my romer G switches
Chatterbox g413 is romer g :)
A video about a keyboard but without a sound test. Great!
I have had this keyboard for 4 months now and i am starting to have a problem, up to now it was great but my z/w switch started not functioning when I pressed other switches so I dont know if its just me that has this problem.
Mme too.. Issue with several keys. False mmuultiple inpuuts. Somme not responding with ease. As u can see. :( RMMA ed it
First G413 starting ghosting certain keys (double clicking) and as if that was not enough, the control key's flimsy plastic pins broke off and embedded themselves into the key switch. Local dealership would not exchange it, but Logitech central stepped up. Got a second brand new G413, the color of keys a, s, and e is chipping off within 3 months of moderate use already. Logitech's quality has really gone to the toilet, my next keyboard will be built by anyone else but them.
hope tenkeyless keyboard is coming so i can replace my redragon keyboard
yes, I would get one of these in TKL form myself. I'm tempted to get the G Pro, but I don't really want to spend that much for lighting and other features that I literally never use.
look at the g410 which i have. its really good. rgb lighting and romer g. also TKL.
Philip Leo yup.
mo.guled will check it out thanks
Using that bad boy now - it's a definite step forward from MX Blacks (had Steelseries 6Gv2 for about 2 years), from tactile feelings it seems like a mushed version of MX Blues (didn't use those too much, had a brief gaming session around 45 minuttes).
I got my G810 on sale for $99. Way better buy.
thebigscoop same but now i need another keyboard for my dads pc and idk what to do lol
I have the 810. I’d rather have this because I like how you don’t have to have the software to get rid of that annoying rgb rainbow and the aluminum finish
Guys, check out the Redragon K556 RGB keyboard.. it's only $58 on Amazon and is this keyboard but is has RGB, and lacks the USB passthrough.
Gf: I wanna do u sooo good
This guy: 0:11
Ed Gar omg its edgar hes wo cute
The black paint started wearing off the W A S D keys after about a year of use, logitech sent replacement keys (They sent a bag complete with every keycap) unfortunately 4 months later they're also starting to lose paint its the only keyboard Ive ever owned with this problem. Keyboard still works like new otherwise no mechanical problems.
"professional gamers perfer rgb lighting?" THIS IS SO NOT TRUE. Its more the casual people that needs rgb lighting
yingda wang That is the worst generalization I have ever heard. That's like saying only poor people like macaroni and chefs can't enjoy it.
Most pros dont even have the lights turned on when they are on stage playing it doesnt matter to them at all trust me lmaooo
yingda wang In tournaments most pro players dont have rgb or led lights on there keyboards and mice
I just dont care about the Damn lights, anyway when Im playing my eyes are on the screen 100% not miring my keyboard
best review for g413..thanks alot
My left control button has broken. The escape key falls off. And my scroll lock button (volume down) has stopped responding. Avoid purchasing this garbage keyboard. Nothing perfect about it.
Edit: I own this keyboard barely a year.
I picked one up from Walmart for about 60 bucks. I certainly can't complain about the quality for the price.
I bought a G610 for $10 less
Cool Moo5e me too... G610 MX brown for $79.99 on Amazon~ $40 off is a great deal. Im loving this keyboard.
got one for $60 at bestbuy on blackfriday
they even had the g403 mouse for $35. I fucking regret not buying it when i saw that its normal price was $70
awesome deal, I love my G610 only thing is I need large keys so I can hit S and also hit X if I'm a little off center
Just got one today... very very happy with it.. the action is great and it is legible plus stylish at the same time.. luv it..
Are romer-g's rubbish? I'm trying to decide between Logitech G910 Orion Spectrum and Razer Blackwidow Chroma V2 (green switches). I'm using a G710+ w/MX Browns right now btw.
LieutenantBill I personally like Romer-Gs but only for gaming use. Is there something you don't like about the G710?
God I hate these switches. Tried it in a bestbuy one time and thought it was a membrane.
Devyn Lewis it feels like a dead beetle got stuck under the keys
You can't just try them, you have to use them to really enjoy them imo, I tried it at bestbuy wasn't a huge fan, but asked if i could return and they told me i could return even if open within 30 days, after a week of using it for gaming/typing, they became my favorite switch to use
James L maybe, I only used it for a second.
It feels weird at first but its the best switches for gaming IMO
At first they feel very weird, but after a few weeks even my old keyboard with Browns that I used for two years feels like garbage
Looks like a great candidate for a typing keyboard. Would love to try it for work. Also it just looks sexy, 0 "gamer" aesthetic on it. 10/10 would buy.
I will buy one when it become a RGB keyboard
FOST3R g810 ?
i do not buy the g810 because it does not have many features that the g,like the USB PASSTHROUGH or the gaming keycaps.Longitech can make a other version of the G413 like the corsair strafe RGB
PuGas33 well they wont
I like mechanical keyboards... hehe
TKL version of these pleaseee
And also I'll rather have white lighting
One thing I don't understand from this channel. It's called HardwareCanucks, yet you guys only mention the US pricing. Saying that it cost "ONLY" 89$ doesn't do shit when it's actually 120$CAD...
You're right. HardwareCanucks should have the pricing for every form of currency in the world!
Haha, trollolololol
It's still as much a good/low price for a decent mech keyboard as it is in the US.
then when he mentions pricing for india either it will not be available or have a 50%price hike than the us
That's the joke.
Bought this one for 65€ yesterday, amazing so far! This marks the beginning of my mechanical keyboard trip
except its not TKL
Everyone’s experience may differ. But here is my negative exprrience:
TLDR; quality control on these roamer g switches are trash. I have sent it for RMA 4 times in a span of about a year and a half.
The goods:1) Build quality of the chassis is great. Solid aluminum build
2) good lighting and usb passthrough
3) price very appealing even at it’s original retail price of $89
The bads: 1) cable is not detachable
2) abs plastic on the keycaps will wear off very quickly. With everyday use, expect only
Yuck! Aluminum back-plates does not provide a *solid* typing experience. Steel or gtfo
SugarFreeTargets You almost got me there mate.
I just got the G610 with white backlighting, separate media keys, and cherry MX switches for $80 so I'm happy.
"Only 90"
*Wow; that looks great*
"Romer-G"
*I'm out*
Weirdo wot m8
I'm saying the price point hooked me up, but when I learned that it was using Romer G switches it immediately extinguished any appeal it had.
what switch do you prefer then actually?
Browns, Blues or Clears. Topre is cool too.
I got it today to be an alternative to my corsair k65 and I really enjoy how it feels so far. Super hype to play some games on it
Just bought this keyboard for £32 from Amazon UK! Was a steal for this price!
I’ve watched this for more than 5 times and I still look at the thumbnail like
89- 413 dollars
Avoid buying keyboards with RomerG switches, the keycap stems will easily break within few months and render the key almost useless. I bought the same one, and having the same problem. Finding replacement keys is also a pain. Several keys are also getting registered twice. Would not recommend.
same problem here. Worst keys ever
I bought one. Malfunctioned within 7 months. Have 3 years warranty though.
These keyboards look very solid, pretty nice.
But personally I'm not a fan of missing wrist wrests. It would be awesome if you could take a look at the Roccat Ryos MK FX, as there are almost no professional reviews :)
I think the keyboard would be the best option for any gamer if there would be white and blue and green and ... backlight colored versions
there is a white version but only if you buy it at best buy
I don't understand all the hate for the Romer-G switches. I bought a G910 Spectrum a few months back and I've honestly never been happier with a keyboard. It actually replaced my Black Widow Chroma as my main board.
Just got this for $65.00 at Target. i was really against solid red but seeing the price of some of the RGB's yeah I decided to go with this one. It seems really neat so far.
Nice keyboard. Owning this one for half of the year already, all I can say - I really like it.
As a reference the Anne pro 2 using Khalil box switches are now $89-95 with shipping
I belive this is only possible with the G switches.
i just walked into best buy and grabbed a razer black widow ultimate for $79 no complaints.
I wish there was a keyboard like this but without the numpads at the same price
