Piston seals, easiest way is to put the seal face down on the bench push piston in a downward screwing action pushing as you turn, they pop straight on.
I've never understood the desire to "tune" a German made airgun. They have some of the best manufacturing and engineering in the world. Why not trust them?
Just fyi, all steel is magnetic stainless or not. Stainless steel is simply carbon steel with a certain amount of chromium to make it stain-less than simple carbon steel.
Well, not all stainless is magnetic. But yes I wouldn't be using a magnet to definitively say something is or isn't stainless. Besides, stainless will still corrode if it's not looked after. Yes it's more resistant to corrosion but it's not totally corrosion proof.
I installed a vortex pro guide 2 in my 30 plus year old RWS 48 with the T01 trigger. After it was installed you you could cock it but it would not engage the trigger assembly (the sear)? I’ve disassembled it and re installed it twice. I can’t remember if I had the safety on when I installed it the first time. Do you have any ideas why it’s not working?
I'm sure you figured out the solution by now as I've just ran across your comment but on a t01 diana 48 you can either grind 4mm off the top hat or take it off all together. That will fix the problem if you never found your answer
Diana 48/52 - stripped breach seal screw that holds the arm Help please I was trying to remove the Cylinder hinge screw located in front of the breech to remove the cylinder and replace the breech seal. Tried with several Allen key to get it to unscrew and it would not budge. After several attempts, now no allen key will work as he hole on the screw is round. how can i now get this screw removed? Your help is greatly appreciated

I know what you mean about the breech seal! Jeez, did mine a couple of times now and came to the exact same way you did it.

just like tuning a Ferrari or a Porsche
My 48 I bought used about 30 years ago used. The trigger assembly doesn't look like yours. I'm assuming that I remove it the same way you did yours?
Yes if it's a little different it would still have to come out the same way
What is the part number and the diameter of the parachute seal. Where did you purchase it? Vortex Products? I ordered a 25 mil.
Yes Vortek products , my RWS 48 uses the 28 mm piston seal
thanks for the vid
Did you loose lose velocity with this kit?

Absolutely true!

is there a 24 joules spring option for that tune kit?

Mine wasn't an issue it in my TO1 Mod52.
What are the lengths of the original spring when it is unloaded, pre-loaded and cocked?
Ps... This isnt a tune... This is a upgraded service kit.
Wear nitrile gloves, acid on skin is nasty stuff
Moly grease is the best for spring-piston air gun internals, not that white one.
Piston and compression tube needs polishing... Spring ends need polishing... Trigger sears need polishing.
Hi sir how are you?hope you always fine.sir how to change breech seal?plz upload video change breach seal?

I actually did wipe it down as I said in the video..
Breach seal must have come from hell...... Do I push it out from the inside, or push it in from the outside? Thanks...
