Warning for Diana 34 EMS! Do not attempt to bend tab to adjust first stage travel as suggested. Casing is cast steel, will not bend, and will snap right off. I now have a broken trigger on a rifle very dear to me, because of attempting this.

Thanks for the tutorial. I did what you did, and it turned out great. I j pulled the assembly out of the stock and was able to cock it, and shoot it while adjusting the screws. This trigger is now on par with my HW 30 Rekord trigger. Thank you again for a clear how to vid.

Remember on a 56 the trigger comes back, do not bend the tab, leave the blade at full forward position.

That was very helpful. Can you explain how to place my new to me RWS Diana 34 Classic with T06 trigger back to safety once I take safety off?
Let’s say I was ready to shoot but changed my mind. Thanks!

Tony, Thanks for taking the time to show and discuss the whole process. It is very clear that the two screws in the trigger blade work together even though they control separate parts of the system.
I know this is an old video, but I have a quick question: You said to adjust third screw behind the trigger blade all the way OUT. Is that correct? I have it adjusted all the way in. After following your instructions I have a trigger weight of 1lb even. That was measured in the gun several times and it is always 1lb.
The first stage is very long, but with a crisp, short 2nd stage with 1lb break I didn't want the first stage too short.
What will happen if I back that third screw out? I dont' want to mess up the way the trigger feels now. Also that 3rd screw is very fragile looking. I'd rather not play with it too much.

Hi friend I adjusted my bristle trigger on my 440th and now the safety lever engages but no longer works, do I need to file the safety stop rod as the trigger is additionally angled??

Awesome video sir...adjusted my trigger with your help.....wanted to ask something, the tab that stops the trigger from going forward, it broke in my gun, even though I hadn't bent it like u suggested....any opinions on how to repair it?

Tony can i test the trigger unit by inserting a round bar or similar into the opening for the piston rod. My rifle trigger operates as your video but fails to cock when in the receiver and the lever operated [ K98].

    • @TonyLeach-airguntech

just use the piston, with the spring guide and no spring push the piston into the trigger body keeping is square and it should push the sear back and engage.

Lol it was a real pain getting that grub screw back into compression tube for the cocking link . I fitted a Tbt drop in kit and made sure the guide was the right length. Even cut it short to make sure. Re-assembled but wont lock after cocking. Just glad the trigger is working.

well just adjust it forward a little....i was showing how you can adjust it, not where to adjust it too ;)

I fabricated a shim between the tab and the trigger blade. The tab appears to be cast aluminum and can easily break. Anyway you are correct without moving the trigger blade back any other trigger adjustments are futile.

    • @TonyLeach-airguntech
      @TonyLeach-airguntech  9 лет назад

You can drill and tap the tab and push the blade back with a grubscrew...I just showed the 1way lazy way I do it.

What a terrible excuse for a trigger. Diana made such a fine rifle, and then went and put a trigger on it that is difficult to adjust, and keeps changing every time the rifle is shot. A stick and a piece of string would be better.

    • @TonyLeach-airguntech

@@TonyLeach-airguntech heads up. You cannot bend the tab to adjust first stage travel on the new Diana 34 EMS. The tab is too thick, will cause the casing to fracture, and the tab to snap right off. This is what happened to me, and admittedly I am really upset about it. The only springer I own, and there are sentimental attachments to the gun. I don't know how I am going to fix it, can't afford a new trigger unit, but I will figure something out. Please inform viewers.

@@Williamthebrand drill the tab and use a course thread 3mm diameter grub screw to make an adjuster instead. Lock in place using blue thread lock
