what a great race, you were absolutely gaming throughout. the route was so good it took all that ridley death for Osse to catch up with both suits. GG

Outside of the ridely deaths, how did Eddie lose so much time to Osse? I’m not an expert and I’m trying to learn more map rando strats. Osse ended up with about the same number of minors and more majors, despite Eddie going out of his way for them. It looks like 2 ridely deaths cost about 2min 30sec but Eddie finished around 2min 40sec slower. It’s close either way, but was Osse’s route that much better that he could get a similar time and find more items?

Around the 50m mark, I chose to commit to suitless and finish the game whereas Osse chose to hit up the final majors and ran into a fast double suit. If was able to kill Ridley on the first attempt, I would have saved about 4 minutes which would be enough to take the win. I was a bit ahead in Wrecked Ship and also had a Phantoon kill on Osse, but Gravity makes him go through the water rooms way quicker than me and Varia guarantees the Ridley fight.
