This is an excellent documentary but, it's not about the secrets of GW sharks. It's a generalized shark documentary.
The host is excellent. He's extremely knowledgeable & describes the plight of sharks perfectly. Well done. Thank you for the upload.

I've loved sharks for many years now. I wish that I could afford to go see sharks in person (wild or in an aquarium). I'm glad of the examples that the host talks about during his life. Wonderful & knowledgeable documentary!

Loved your comment🤣wish I could afford...🤣there are great white shark diving opportunities in Isla Guadalupe in Mexico, Australia etc., but true, it's so expensive, probably wouldn't want to spend so much money...🤣

Sharks are to be respected and not to be hunted

Get your stock footage straight. You're showing only other shark species in a video that aims to talk mainly about Great Whites.

On the subject of orcas hunting great white sharks,we need to throw in some FACTS. The largest white shark port and starboard have ever targeted was a young 15 foot approximately 700 kg adult female,( although the more popular the story became, the bigger the shark became), and she was attacked by 2 23+ foot, approximately 6000 kg orcas. The rest of the white sharks killed by the two orcas were between 8 and 11 foot long and between 200 and 400 kgs and were on their own, apart from...... A video was released of the two orcas chasing two very small, young great white sharks. The man filming the event was telling the world that the sharks were massive monsters, until you see them swimming close to the boat's motor, turned out they were relatively tiny as great white sharks go, to say the least. Anyway, the original video clip shows one of the sharks retaliating and charging towards one of the orcas and the big brave orca backs off very quickly, just like the video of a sevengill shark doing the same on another video. The point is that great white sharks are a miracle of nature and never attack other animal species unless they are hunting or in extreme sur instances defending themselves, and against 2,5 or 10 orcas they've got no chance, however. If a massive 18+ foot 2 ton great white shark launched an attack on a single orca, it's game over for the orca and most scientists believe this!

The fact that orcas generally hunt in pods you can't really compare them 1 on 1 as the nature of the great white is a solitary creature and orcas have more of a pack mentality.
Would be like comparing a grizzly to a wolf,. Obviously 1 on 1 it's going to be a different story but when you take that wolf and give him a pack that works together is what makes wolves apex predators. Hence why the orca is an apex predator. Coordination and pod mentality

The great white shark isn't the top of the ocean food chain, the orca is, however. The great white shark is the number one ultimate solitary predator on the planet. A fully grown solitary great white has on average a 50 percent success rate when hunting. A family pod of transient orcas has a 30 percent success rate when hunting

Oh boy!…..Here we go 🙄🙄 Another “expert” sitting here for over 20 mins telling us what a PERFECT and EVOLUTIONARY SUCCESS the GW shark is………and then out of the other side of his mouth tells us the GW shark is so inept that it’s senses can’t tell the difference between a seal (which it’s senses are fully aware of) and a human!! 😡 Sorry, but these experts have had it both ways for too long and we need to call them out on it!! Plain common sense tells you it’s an absurd claim 🙄🙄
