In Toris defense the way she was raised money was not an object she never learned the value of the dollar . Not to say 800,000 is a not a lot of money because it is but when you take into consideration Candy Spelling is worth $600 million dollars, it makes sense why tori would have some resentment about the amount of her inheritance.

Tori and her family (and many generations to come as long as she isn’t in control of the money) have been and always will be well taken care of by mom. Tori has a huge shopping addiction and credit card debt that her mom is trying to keep her responsible for. I think her parents did the right thing. She is clearly not responsible enough to handle her own finances let alone huge sums of money.
But she also makes her own money on her shows and her husband has an income, all the while their needs and way more are already met. That’s a good deal IMO.
@@snorchez Tori and Randy Spelling not being properly prepared to manage their finances is the direct blame of their parents. The Spellings spoiled and coddled their children without really looking ahead to ready them for life as adults. Their mother especially, would close down stores to drop thousands of dollars. Of course the kids saw this, they knew nothing else but to be spendthrifts.

It’s really too much money for people to have and not have it warp their ability to have sensible limits, an appreciation for its worth and a realistic view of their own importance. We see this all the time with celebrities but it affects growing kids a lot. Randy’s issue was drug abuse which seems to have been largely related to his self worth, which is related to growing up the way he did.

Her mom pays for all her “essentials”, house, kids education, kids parties, cars probably, food and clothing etc. Tori has a huge credit card debt because she has a shopping addiction that her mom refused to pay off. She is being taken care of but can’t control her desire for luxury she can’t afford, despite the fact that her and her husband have incomes with their reality show etc. Dad knew this about his kids and was doing them a favor while making sure they were still cared for. She would not have “changed the world”. She would have shopped till she dropped.

I wouldn’t have known either but I did a deep dive on her and her family a few months back, her reality show and interviews with her mom, brother etc. Her and her kids, and probably down the line, will be taken good care of and that should be a great comfort to her and her husband.

You have to remember or know of the insane lifestyle she was brought up in. Their house was ridiculously gigantic. Very extravagant lifestyle. It was all she knew. So $800k for her isn’t much. But you know, for her it sucks to think he did her like that but she has learnt so many life lessons I’m sure that in the end she can say ‘I get it, I get why this had to happen’. The interesting thing will be if her Mum leaves her money because her mum’s got all the coin. I wouldn’t be surprised if her Mum gives her very little too.
It’s not a lot of money compared to what she was raised with. Especially if she had not toned down her lifestyle before he passed away to acclimate to something less. Too bad she didn’t build a business with her father when he was alive. Maybe then he would have left her more knowing she was applying herself wisely with his money. But perhaps also her father knew that her husband might get too involved or want to control her inheritance. Just a thought.

Well dad you raised me in wealth in mansions I didn't even knew other parts of the house ...usually without a will a widow gets this much and when a widow pass on the surviving children share her inheritance or money is divided amongst them children and wife even if children are young mother will be responsible and if they are adults they do get their cut equally ..but if there is a will he really wanted her to have that little money at that moment mybe that will was done in those early days in his career and he never updated it as he got more wealthy or mybe he thought the wife will handle everything but I will be pissed she deserves that money when parents work who are they working for , who is supposed to enjoy their hard work ..its her right to be spoiled he raised her that way ....
