when I was about 7 a zombie chased me with a chainsaw for halloween. It's still the scariest moment of my life.I can still remember my shriek of terror as I heard that chainsaw turn on.

As a young kid I always hated walking up to the houses that I knew there was a guy hiding in the shadows ready to jump scare the hell out of us, but it was usually worth it because those were usually the houses that gave out the best candy.

True story that happened last year. Me and my two friends went up to this house for trick or treating. This house was dark, but it had an orange light and a bowl of candy behind what seemed to be a man with a skull mask on, a little hat, and a coat and jeans. He held a snow shovel. Now, I live in LA, and we have no need for snow shovels. So I thought he was a tall statue. Anyway, we go up to the guy and we are about to walk past him and grab the candy when his head turns and motions towards the candy. We each quietly grab some and start to walk away, a little freaked out. But when we are halfway, we hear this horrible screeching noise and scream as the man runs after us, dragging his shovel and screaming at the tip of his lungs. I have never run faster in my life. He stopped at the end of his driveway and walked back. I dropped my bag and I spent like 30 minutes picking up all the candy. Anyway, true jumpscare story
