He fell limp in my arms, and I just stared at his cold body with a few tears going down my face before I finally hugged him close, crying out the pain that was in my heart. I could not believe what had just happened. My doppelganger, enraged at his earlier failure to get Goldie to kill himself, had delivered a fatal injury to him. (A blade through the heart or a gunshot wound, I guess) And then...I woke up.

*I rushed by his side, his chest heaving as he rapidly lost strength. Tears welled in my eyes as I shakily placed my hand on his cheek* "Hey.. C-can you hear me? Please, please say you can hear me..." *My voice trembled as tears dripped from my eyes, pattering on his body. He glanced at me with cloudy eyes; I watched a smile creep onto his lips before he closed them. My expression shifted to devastation within that single moment; I placed my other hand on his chest to feel his breath becoming more and more shallow.* "No, no! Please... P-please, I'm here, don't die... Don't die!" *I cried out as he drew his final breath. The air escaped softly from his mouth, leaving me completely speechless. I threw my head against his chest and waited... But there was nothing. Tears rolled siliently off my face, the fabric of his clothes soaking them up as they landed. I silently wept, holding onto his warm body as any signs of life drained from his corpse.*
She turned suddenly seeing the body of her best friend go limp. Ears ringing it finally reaches her mind... the gunshot. A scream of agony erupted from her lips and she lunged. Landing beside the bleeding body of her closest friend she let out a whimper, a silent wail. "Sol, Sol please..." She squeaks, seeing the life leaving her friends body. Sol limply shifted, pulling her sniper over and placing into Sol's arms she whimpered, "The goal... you can't leave me yet..." Sol leaked crimson, so much, too much. Sol managed to rasp, "It's your turn... when the crow begins to fly... pull the trigger..." She could do nothing but pull Sol's lifeless body in close, feeling the warmth leaving Sol, and let out a silent scream of pure pain. (This is an original based from a book I am currently working on.)

I watch Clarke step into the green mist, and I cradle Bellamy’s lifeless body in my arms. Blood pours from his mouth. I wail, not caring that I’ve been abandoned on Sanctum. Not caring that I’m going to be killed by Cadogens desciples. Not caring that they have the information they need. Not caring that Madi is now in danger. Bellamy died for nothing. He died for nothing.
"I was shaking him, screaming his name and shaking him, and my body stopped being my body and just became this thing that held me and this lack of him, and I could not stop screaming and screaming-"
