  • Filmed on March 10, 2012: Here is a #TBT #ThrowbackThursday to some interesting old elevators. Otis Lexan call station and an black button version of EPCO Haloline car station that was put in place. Other than that, these were mostly original. Love the square directional lantern and the interesting type of IEE floor position indicator. Sadly, these elevators were in the process of modernization when I filmed this, and plus I was on a class trip during the time so I was making it kind of quick. But enjoy this #Throwback from back in time. 2012 is MY FAVORITE year when I first joined RUclips!!!! I miss that time. Nostalgia as we describe it! Installed in 1976, COP placed in the late 80's to early 90's, and since been fully modernized in 2012-2013.

I know that this isn’t relevant to this video, but I feel like I really needed to get this out of my chest here for real.
Not sure if anyone knows this one elevator enthusiast whose name is TwinCityElevatorsMN, but he’s sadly closed down his RUclips channel not too long ago along with all the videos uploaded that are now deleted. 😢😭😭 I am quite upset and heartbroken about this because I used to be really good friends with him and he’s one of the best friends I’ve met online back in 2012 for the very first time. He joined on RUclips since 2016 which is when I reunited him as a friend again. So this video is also gonna be in honor for TwinCityElevatorsMN who shut down his account as I was friends with him. He’s still alive though, but just left RUclips.
    To TwinCityElevatorsMN:
If you see this, I really miss you so much. Thank you all so much for everything over the past several years. You have been the definite best and amazing friend I ever came for a long time! I really hope to hear back from you whenever you return. I miss you a lot!

He was a wonderful person. I used to play Roblox with him for a while.

Sadly I think all of them are modded. The elevator operators are almost in every DC building now
