Hey Raif, I switched from Atripla to Biktarvy and I'm glad to say all is well. I've been positive for HIV since 08; 11 yrs now and I'm glad that I came across ur channel. Love u so much and congrats to us on #greatlabs
Thanks for the love and glad that you're doing well too! Much love my friend
Congrats 🎉 on the healthy bloodwork ❗️it feels so refreshing when your results are this good
Thank you Fredrick! Yea, it feels really great and reaffirms everything I do and the way that I think about my health! 🙏
@@RaifDerrazi hey bro, i heard the FDA as given the green light for the HIV cure in human trails, and it's now in phase 1. Can you be able to do a video on that for us, when more information comes out please. Thanks man, i really enjoy watching your youtube channel.
Love how you read your blood test results, the same way I do. The perfect results light up my eyes; the less than perfect, I make up an excuse. ha ha Raif. As I always say "Attitude is more important than fact!" Bro, you are the best........Ray
Bahaha true true. I'm just hopeful and optimistic. What can I say? I know it'll get better and if it doesn't, we'll FIX IT...straight up! Much love Ray
Great results man. Keep up the good work! Yeah your cd4 count is still great at 585 or whatever u said. I love how knowledgeable you are on all of this stuff! I'm the same way. If I'm going to be living with something I want to be educated on the ins and outs of it on all sides. Keep up the great work Raif!
Thanks man! Yea I'm not stressing the CD4 AT ALL. I had to spend a solid few hours researching the lab results to understand what they all meant 😉It's silly that I waited this long to fully comprehend it.
Wow this was so interesting! I wish my doctor would go over all my blood work with me this thoroughly. It's so fascinating.
Honestly, I spent hours pouring over the details and researching each test online to learn more about it for myself so that I could hopefully bring some insight to yall!
@@RaifDerrazi I wish I could help you I’m non-reactive I wish I could give my blood to you so I could help you I am Native American Cherokee and Blackfoot Indian blood I think my blood would cure your blood my friend I wish you was my friend in real life I really care about you God bless you I live in Phoenix Arizona maybe someday we can hang out That would be awesome we could play video games LOL
Know you are loved and supported no matter what! Im impressed at your knowledge and continued self education. Im the same way when it comes to mine and my clients health. Ive struggled with anemia which effects my energy and my ability to do my job to the best of my ability and i cant figure it out. I dont have HIV but alot of my clients do so your journey inspires my patients as i have them watch your videos too :)
Wow, that's awesome Elizabeth. What do you do? And thanks for sharing my videos with them! That's exactly what I'm trying to provide, a little bit of a resource to help guide people with HIV...even if it's just comfort on a psychological level 🙏
I am a licensed mental health therapist and i work with those with chronic illnesses and sever mental health disorders. Many of them are co occurring beacuse as you know the good drugs only came along in the last decade and many were not as fortunate to get help before other parts of their body were effected negatively by the virus. I love what u do and how u present the info along with your personal story it gives hope! And you r a fellow moroccan which is also awesome 😎
Elizabeth Claudio oh HEYYYY Moroccan represent! Haha that’s awesome. Even cooler to get the stamp of approval from a licensed mental health therapist! Thanks so much for the support and encouragement! You’re doing incredible work yourself. Mad respect 👊🏽😌
Anytime mi amour! If you ever need an ear or just want to talk im here!!
Elizabeth Claudio Thank u so much!
Congrats on ur good results UVL. Stay positive minded and healthy as usual. 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you so much. I will!
When I saw the name of this vid, my stomach dropped and I was nervous clicking on it as I thought something had shown up in ur results, I was so happy for you that it was all good. I admire you so much and find you a very unique man with a beautiful heart. Much love xx
lol well I'm glad you were invested in how I'm doing either way! All good here tho, thanks for the encouragement. Much love to u too!
A love one of mine just started takin these meds today,I’m praying that he get Tha same results🙏🏾🙏🏾
Another good video! Thank you for going over your blood work, now I want to go over mine again and look at each category. This was very helpful.
Hey you're welcome my friend! Glad it encouraged you to take a deeper look at your own results! It's OUR bodies so it's great to be engaged in the process of finding our health
Glucose was definitely thrown off by the cookies. 80-120 is optimal for fasting glucose levels. You weren’t fasted so that glucose is actually pretty good.
Haha well thank goodness 😊
Thank you so much for sharing all this information! You are awesome! I'm happy you continue to do well. I really appreciate you and all the knowledge you share. Please continue to share. I look forward to your videos. God bless you.
I absolutely will, Vivian! And thank you for the support! God bless you too 🙏
All I know is that you are awake and posting in the middle of the night in your time zone. Sleep is our friend...
Bahaha, see now you know how dedicated I am to sticking to my new posting schedule of Tuesdays and Fridays!! Sacrifices had to be made...
Raif. Back in the 90s people would die because of aids. It's great know they have medications for that. It's amazing how they created medications for people to stay alive. I hope you become successful in life brotha. Stay positive
He is so cute still want to hug himnice to see h happy and settled 💗 nice guy
Congrats, Great news! 😘
Thank you so much! I'm stoked 😉
Hi. Came across your video cause I literally started biktarvy today. Switched from genvoya. Was 165 cd4 when diagnosed.. my last lab showed 675. Hopefully biktarvy can make that number go up even more. Everyone in my support group has had cd4 past 1000 after switching.. I'm kinda nervous making a switch but I hear nothing but good things about it 🤞😁
What's your CD4 number after being on Biktarvy for a year?
Hey Dr Raif, thanks for giving us hope I just landed on this channel of hope just now.thanks so much dear, love from Uganda africa
Next month will be my 2nd HIV anniversary, and will be tested also to check cd4 bla bla.. wish me luck. Will be updated to you.. God bless u, God bless us.
Good luck my friend. God bless you too!
Great results Raif! Keep it up! I am wondering, how come your CD4 went from 800 to 500? Was it because the Sifilis? I believe confections with any other STD affects CD4 count. Or was it for any other reason?
Thanks Francisco! The CD4 fluctuation isn't from the Syphilis...CD4 naturally fluctuates ALL the time from things as simple as stress so it's not something I or anyone should really sweat as long as it stays in a normal range.
@@RaifDerrazi i see bro! Thanks for replying! God bless you! 💪
Congrats gorgeous ! ❣
So biktarvy doesn't make u super tired?
Thank you! Nah, it doesn't make me tired...training VERY HARD every day and working multiple jobs and dieting hard makes me tired lol
Raif Derrazi
That's so awesome Raif🌹
Raif. You looking good brotha. Stay positive
Have you notice any weight gain on Biktarby?
Just came across your vids bro. Good work keep it up! From Sydney x
This is a good news and worth watching.. we learn alot 👍
Hey Bon Bon! Thank you for that...glad you appreciate it and got something out of it!
Raif hey buddy good to see u ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Good to see you tooo!
Hey Raif.God will heal you one..
As always, thanks for posting a good, informative video. Creatinine and creatine aren’t the same thing and aren’t really linked together. Creatine is just necessary for the Kreb’s Cycle which is how we get our energy, aka ATP. 😁
PS - At 15:26...YAY! Undetectable = Untrasmittable
Exactly re: the creatinine...but there's still a lot of misinformation (including from medical professionals) regarding creatine.
Raif Derrazi Yup. Have you ever watched James Linker’s channel “Shredded Sports Science”? I think he’s an Exercise Physiologist and he approaches fitness from a biomechanical and anatomical point of view. As someone with a degree in Kinesiology, I really love watching channels that are science-based. 👍🏽 Anyways, have a great rest of the week! 🤙🏽
PS - your HDL is 61 is REALLY good. My doc says that most healthy people are around 35-50. The last time I took mine, it was 70 so she asked me if she could use my number and my diet (I often tell her what I’m eating in general) to teach her other patients who wanna increase their HDL and lower their overall cholesterol.
@@SeanShimamoto When I wanna watch some science-based fitness videos i typically watch Jeff Nippard's channel or Athlean-X...they both have really great content.
And that's good to know about the HDL! Thanks. And yours is damn high too lol.
Raif Derrazi Yeah, Jeff Cavaliere is an impressive man...not just aesthetically, he’s highly intelligent and conveys his intent so eloquently and thoroughly. I haven’t watched Nippard’s videos yet, but I have her James Linker talk about him, so I’ll probably check out some of his videos this weekend. 👍🏽
Sean Masami Shimamoto 🙌🏽🙌🏽😁
No need rise it ..it will rise automatically when body needs to fight an infection
cd4 ?
nice to catch up.. great video.. great guy
Hey thanks Daniel 😌🙏
i salute your faith bro .i really do
Thank you so much! 😌🙏
God bless you I wish you all the best and I hope you're okay🙌🌺🌿🍁🌹⏰
Thank you so much! God bless you too!
What a wonderful helpful video...thank you
Does CD4 count down the road (how high it is) is related to how early was HIV detected and treated?
Hey raif if you dont mind i would like to shoot a question.Since you work close with hiv staff and you yourself is a great knowledgeable person. Would you mind telling me that if someone has hiv would he always test positive for an elisa test post 4 years of exposure?i have done several tests like 10 elosa test and one pcr qulaitative test too
All were negative its been 4 years since mu exposure but i am still worried. Please help me with this
what tests are done to confirm that you are negetive.
Is it the DNA PCR test or RNA PCR test?
Or is it the antigen antibodiy combo test?
Can you please reply?
Thanks
Hello Raif..... What is your CD4 count now....?? If you get fever or cold do you take separate medicine for that or you have to consult your HIV specialist for the medicine so that it will not affect your ARV. ??
My CD4 fluctuates between 400-800. i don't do anything differently if i get a fever or cold than anyone else who doesn't have HIV.
Awsome!
Glad you appreciate it Ronny!
Great platform, yet revealing labs when you haven't fasted doesn't make sense. You know this....continue to set a positive example.
By the way, where did you buy your ring? I like it
I got it at a store on Melrose in LA, called Maya. They have hundreds of cool rings with stones 😍
@@RaifDerrazi Thank you, I appreciate your response
Hey Raif, have you ever experienced blip since you started taking your hiv med? I was diagnosed on March and im taking Triumeq i was undetectable for last few months but my last lab came back 420 viral load eventhough im taking my pill everyday haven't missed anydose?? Im hoping is a blip,i was just wondering have you ever experienced blip in the past?? Thanks love your videos 😘
I experienced a blip a few years ago. And never since then. And yes, I do miss doses and forget etc but I've been fine otherwise
1 mole is 6.02x10^23 molecules.
Haha yeaaassssss
Avogadro likes that haha
I finally subscribed but I’ll still annoy u in messages haha. ❤️
LOL...thank you! and noted...
Any news on a cure? I hope something is found soon
There's always new discoveries and advancements. it's just a matter of time. we gotta be patient and in the meantime be grateful for what we have and how far we've come! 🙏
@@RaifDerrazi I hope so, bless you ♥
It's medical froud cure never will come
Very Nice🍁💝🌺
Keep Up God bless you 😇
GlOmeruler, the O is stressed. 😂
Bahaha, i snorted at the gym while reading this. Thanks for the clarification haha *facepalm* And is the 'O' pronounced as an 'ah' or an 'oh' sound?
@@RaifDerrazi Nah, it was just too sweet even to correct, but couldn't stand your struggle. 😀 It's Glo as in gloves, but 99% of time it's called simply GFR for a reason. 😀
Cute Ring!
Thx!
I subscribed what do I get..
Lol....free health insurance.....
Raif i have it too.. Why do i always have fever.. Am so sad
That I don't know. I would check with a doctor
who knew HIV can be so hard
who knew it could be so manageable
Hi had a lot of fun at gay pride 🏳️🌈 in Ireland so cool 😎 nice to see people happy again
Nowdays can hiv cure
There is no practical cure for the general population
How many ur cd4 ? U said ?

Hi sir what is the window period for HIV test
After about 3 months it's pretty conclusive these days...but not 100%
