    Hi. Came across your video cause I literally started biktarvy today. Switched from genvoya. Was 165 cd4 when diagnosed.. my last lab showed 675. Hopefully biktarvy can make that number go up even more. Everyone in my support group has had cd4 past 1000 after switching.. I'm kinda nervous making a switch but I hear nothing but good things about it 🤞😁

    Great results Raif! Keep it up! I am wondering, how come your CD4 went from 800 to 500? Was it because the Sifilis? I believe confections with any other STD affects CD4 count. Or was it for any other reason?

    • @RaifDerrazi
      @RaifDerrazi  5 лет назад +4

      Thanks Francisco! The CD4 fluctuation isn't from the Syphilis...CD4 naturally fluctuates ALL the time from things as simple as stress so it's not something I or anyone should really sweat as long as it stays in a normal range.

    As always, thanks for posting a good, informative video. Creatinine and creatine aren’t the same thing and aren’t really linked together. Creatine is just necessary for the Kreb’s Cycle which is how we get our energy, aka ATP. 😁
    PS - At 15:26...YAY! Undetectable = Untrasmittable

    • @RaifDerrazi
      @RaifDerrazi  5 лет назад +1

      Exactly re: the creatinine...but there's still a lot of misinformation (including from medical professionals) regarding creatine.

    • @SeanShimamoto
      @SeanShimamoto 5 лет назад +2

      Raif Derrazi Yup. Have you ever watched James Linker’s channel “Shredded Sports Science”? I think he’s an Exercise Physiologist and he approaches fitness from a biomechanical and anatomical point of view. As someone with a degree in Kinesiology, I really love watching channels that are science-based. 👍🏽 Anyways, have a great rest of the week! 🤙🏽
      PS - your HDL is 61 is REALLY good. My doc says that most healthy people are around 35-50. The last time I took mine, it was 70 so she asked me if she could use my number and my diet (I often tell her what I’m eating in general) to teach her other patients who wanna increase their HDL and lower their overall cholesterol.

    • @RaifDerrazi
      @RaifDerrazi  5 лет назад

      @@SeanShimamoto When I wanna watch some science-based fitness videos i typically watch Jeff Nippard's channel or Athlean-X...they both have really great content.
      And that's good to know about the HDL! Thanks. And yours is damn high too lol.

    • @SeanShimamoto
      @SeanShimamoto 5 лет назад +1

      Raif Derrazi Yeah, Jeff Cavaliere is an impressive man...not just aesthetically, he’s highly intelligent and conveys his intent so eloquently and thoroughly. Hello Raif..... What is your CD4 count now....?? If you get fever or cold do you take separate medicine for that or you have to consult your HIV specialist for the medicine so that it will not affect your ARV. ??

    • @RaifDerrazi
