@@mishti0305 it depends on the yarn you chose, i didn't use the brand in the tutotial as i live in europe not the US.
I would say for a 4 to 5mm hook yarn type i used approximately 1050m of yarn. Hope this helps ☺️

Hey @mjsoffthehook I‘ve started this as my first ever cardigan and I love the tutorial. So easy to follow. I’ve added 10 more rows to the band bc I wanted it to fit loose. I used 3mm cotton yarn 8/8 and I feel like it looks still bigger than in your tutorial, but I start to worry that it will be way too small. Will the blocking do the trick?

No please don’t, they turn into slip knots very easily with a slight tug on one end. You could try a fisherman’s knot, it takes a bit longer but is more secure, a quick search here on RUclips will pull up plenty of video’s.

It's my first attempt to a proper wearable and I'm finally making a project for myself 😆. I'm new to crochet and gets confused with finding the right or wrong side. Your marking helps a lot. Got questions though:
I'm at the point where I'm doing the ribbing at the bottom and I noticed that the marked right side ends up being the inside. Is that supposed to be like that? Should the peaks be going towards the center or outwards?
And the right panel that you started working on at 43:40 came out to be the left side of the actual garment?

Do you have any advice for me? My gauge matches in width/stitches, but my gauge in rows is too big. I had to use a K hook to match the stitches.

Thank you so much for this tutorial. I made one cardigan(long version) for my teenage daughter. It fits her perfectly and she loves it. 😊

So when you join the yard to add the 45 stitches should you do that with the wrong side or right side (with stitch marker) facing you?
