Great, straight-to-the-point instructions - just replaced my battery with the help from this video. Can't believe I went so long with a bad battery, not knowing how CHEAP and simple it was to replace!
This was so easy! Thank you for the video. I would have never thought I could replace my battery myself before watching this. My laptop was to the point where it had to be plugged in or would die…this makes it a laptop again and I’m SO excited! Thanks again 🙂
Thanks for this. Apart from having the first battery stolen from my front door (which surprisingly wasn’t the first step in your tutorial), I followed your instructions exactly and my MacBook Air is now up and running.
Mr. Peter, GD Bless you. Truly ty so incredibly much. Your tutorial is so incredibly simple and empowering. I know little but I try to help low income individuals, in my spare time. your organized, visuals & verbal guides will enable me to help in this area; where it’s taken the fear to tackle & decreased substantially. Ty on everyone’s behalf now and future that I’ll be able to help through your tutorial. Again bless you.
very cool. thanks for the easiest diy ive seen on utube. AND for showing the rayhom reference as well... i saw that before but forgot the name and didnt bookmark the page.
i've been using my 2014 macbook air ever since my parents gave it to me for my 18th birthday a decade ago and have been dreading the prospect of replacing it, as the poor battery has been making it borderline nonfunctional any time it's not plugged in. thank you SO much for the tutorial... maybe i'll get another ten years out of it now LOL
My Full Charge Capacity is at 2364. Cycle Count is 900. Condition says Service Recommended. Lasts about an 1h to 1.5h once unplugged. Looks like it's time for a replacement. Thanks for the video!
Hi Justin... Did you replace the battery ? How much backup it's giving now ? SOT. I'm thinking to change mine as the cycle count is close to 800 now with 5596 mAh/7150mAh.

Will this resolve the shut down when off power issue? SMS reset is not doing the trick.

Great info. Thank you for your video!
You bet, Marcelo!
Great tutorial
This is not the entire procedure. The calibration process was missing.
How do you remove the service recommended warning?
One third of the video contains unnecessary information.
xx
When I follow the link for the battery on Amazon it doesn't show RayHom it shows many others?
