That's actually the only reason I'm still on console, games I played before like division 1 were full of cheaters and i remeber ubisoft didn't do anything about it too, and that was the reason the game ended up losing a ton of players and why a lot of people didn't bother with division 2
True. It'll get worse, too. I think what fries me most are people that actively cheat and say it's "helping" them become better players. That's just insane. I want to help myself get better, I challenge myself on higher difficulties, restrict the use of weapons, etc.... I don't go easy mode and say "it's helping me."
@humandxp every game has cheaters, cheaters got to #3 and #4 Predator in Apex, they run rampant in war zone, and even in Valorant a game that has to have full system wide access to your pc for its damn anticheat.
Honestly if I hit up LFG and found myself in a team with a cheater I'd just ride it out for a ticket. I'm past caring, I'm in trials to get my loot and bounce, have zero expectations of doing well or going flawless because the playlist is over run with people who are cheating or playing the game as a job. I don't even have any kind of feelings when I see someone with the Flawless title, I just assume they're a streamer, cheater or have more money than sense.

No tokens for losing. Low card farming. No matchmaking. No Freelance. It's like the playlist has been setup to fail. It's like Bungie wanted to do everything they could to force players out of the playlist, and incentivise the worst tendencies of Destiny players, making the average player feel like they have no alternative but to cheat, buy a carry or simply do something else. The thing about sword peaking is that, yeah, sure, most of the time it's used by terrible players that are being annoying, but it's also a good counter to cheaters, so when sword peaking is gone, it's going to be a lot more difficult to best them.

There's multiple problems with trials, but for somone who doesn't play them often, I've noticed that 70% of matches are paid on Lfg, quite a lot are mega try hards, and rest are cheaters. As an average player I've spend 6 hours trying to get a single messenger, simply because I don't want to pay or be a mega sweat. Yup, guess why I'm never gonna play trials again. This shit ain't worth the hussle.
as an above average player this makes me sad to see, i wish the less fortunate had a reason to get in playlist and have some fun but there’s just no incentive other than 2 weapons.
@@DivineIndra appreciate what you just said. I 100% support hardcore playlists, but once I unlock a weapon there should be a way of obtaining it outside of that activity. Maybe make me do a Grandmaster nfall once I unlock a messenger, I can only get 1 per week, but it's something, but first i have to take part in trials, make sure it's unlocked, so I try activity and then decide if I want to continue, maybe even get a good team. There should be more ways of obtaining armor and weapons from other activities and it definitely shouldn't cost players £50 for 3 trial ls runs, people profit real good from ghost lobbies and hacks.

I think it's the fact that trials loot is locked behind an entire sweat army of people. benefit of the doubt, maybe that person was a casual? People who try really hard to get flawless many times but don't succeed can be tempted to just go 'fuck it'.
That doesn't excuse them though. That gear is supposed to be difficult to get and not everyone is going to be able to nab it. It's unfair to the people who legitimately worked their butts off to get the Trials loot. It makes what should feel like an accomplishment completely trivial.Using cheats to get loot you don't want to put in the work to get is peak gamer entitlement.

After seeing this video after the video about you talking about 3 peeking with swords it got me thinking, if bungie makes 3 peeking impossible how are players like yourself going to avoid lanes with aimbot cheaters or look for their location around cover. Getting rid of it is gonna make cheaters excel at headshotting people even easier since you cant look at lanes to see if they are there.

@@Phoenix6942-7 in general outside of the most recent video of his on the topic he is rather very against it and wants it to not be a thing anymore, but as soon as he comes across someone cheating it is the very first thing he goes to and uses. I understand the concept of it slowing the game down but this is a game that has weapons with absurd amounts of aim assist on top of having bullet magnetism and running and peeking in first person with a weapon leads to being headshot more often than not.

Dude, I am a Computer Science student where I have multiple programs relating to specific memory management, network analysing to name a few, always running in the background working on compiling things or scanning my work.. I accidentally selected Destiny 2 to run a scan on - no, nothing the programs can do, can potentially permanently affect in-game activities; whether it's having infinite ammo, or any sort of 'hacking'.. I closed my game instantly thinking it will not affect my progress - I logged back in fine, only that 30 minutes later, relaxing in the tower, I receive a permanent ban on my D2 Steam account "by the game's developers".. Uhm what? It was an accident that clearly cannot affect in game activities for permanent reasons.. and I get a ban? A long time, clean sheet, well over 8 years worth of gaming into this Destiny franchise, feels massively bad. Then you have people like these hackers who clearly are cheating, and for the length of an entire match, don't get banned... lol?
Why would you have any mem scanners open anyway? Anyways the reason you got banned is because you called openprocess on the game. If you want a handle to the game you need to hijack one or create one from kernel. My cheat has around 3k hours of use from my few users without any bans. The anticheat only blocks entry level cheats.
@@dankmemer3452 I do quite a bit of software analysis/network analysis, so having mem scanners open is valid for the tasks I do, both as a student and as a developer. I did not intend to try and attempt any hacks in the game, but like I mentioned, any of the programs I'd use cannot permanently affect the game's integrity.. so openprocess or not, it's still a silly process.. Not sure why you're taking pride over cheating and calling it your own cheat or whatever.. you want a medal for that?
If it was any other competitive game I would be like, why cheat? But since it's destiny 2 it's whatever. At the end of the day Osiris is just a sweat pool, and people ONLY come there to get the desired weapon and leave, so if someone is cheating in PvP I assume they only play PvE, They saw the weapon that was up in Osiris, and knowing damn well they Ain't gonna get to the lighthouse, they cheat all the way through it and get the weapon and leave. This, I HOPE, is most of the cases with these cheaters.
Moral of it all: Cheating... It won't make you better, it makes you a lesser being in the game, in life, everywhere... Players who worked to sharpen their skills through hard work took the high route in success. They'll be recognized and respected from people all around. Others who took the easy way forward using some hacks or illegal mods from sites like Perfect Aim shows that they won't improve. They're just going to be stuck at the bottom of the barrel.
Tbh punishing people that play with cheaters is like saying you're going to Target random people and ban them for playing the game. Only cheaters should be punished not those around them that are just playing the game.

My suggestion to bungie will still be to allow the team going against cheaters is to give them unlimited super and invincibility with unique voice lines to let you know instead of just downright banning them. Let's make em suffer
He probably doesn't care because loot frequency in Trials is so bad for low-skill players that playing isn't worth his time otherwise. Of course the cheating itself is a huge problem, but if the right changes were made to loot in Trials (stuff like in Kujay's recent vid), then it would probably have an effect on cheater quantity. Let's hope Bungie can make the right choices to bake Trials to perfection!

Good cheats often cost a pretty penny. Why pay for a cheat to get wins when you can pay a cheater to get the wins for you at a discount? Detection often has less to do with playing with cheaters.
People don’t care about cheating cause it’s just a game but their lack of integrity will seep into their daily lives and cause whatever relationships in general they have, to suffer
Cheating isn't always about winning game after game. For the cheat makers it is a good challenge to reverse engineer the game made by hundreds of people. Imagine how well that will carry into their lives. Solving problems created by hundreds or thousands of people and a single person beating it. For others it is simply finding the best way to get good without putting in the work. Finding the easiest way to do something is also a great skill. At the end of the day who won? The people who spent hours playing an unbalanced game all day having next to no fun, or the people who use cheats and enjoy their entire time playing the game.

I reported a cheater who has a RUclips channel that he not only openly cheats on but teaches others how to cheat. Not only did I report but I linked his videos proving he was doing it. Guess what bungie did. Punished him with a 1 week game suspension. He back at it cheating and teaching others. At this point I don’t even bother reporting anymore. Bungie really doesn’t care. Nothing worse that watching someone teach other to cheat and bungie not caring.

Bungie should do : once hacker/cheater been identify. The Hacker/Cheater along with his clan and clanmate should be 'Ban'. This action is needed and is a MUST! Why? so to encourage all to support anti-cheater and hacker. When you are in a clan and you got ban because of your clan mate. All will treat this matter seriously. Unless.....everyone of them in the clan actually are hacker/cheater of cos they won't mind. However, if it is because of the few in clan. More and more people will start to build up the awareness e.g. when enlisting a new clan member or while playing with the clan member. They will kick the suspects. Overall, it will help build a very strong community against hacker and cheater.
Banning a clan for having a cheater in the clan makes zero sense. Say they joined the clan and was playing trials with some other people (not in the clan). Now the clan should be banned for it? oof.. that's some weird justice. Don't get me wrong. Cheaters are ruining PVP hard core in this game and I'm totally for harsh punishments for the cheaters and for people that run with a cheater. If they are obvious cheaters (run with full auto snipers with infinite ammo or self ressing or flying around the map at warp speed...) and don't back out from the match... they should be also get banned already based on that one match. However, for aimbots and wall hacks and such... it's much harder to know for sure as a team mate that they are cheating.

One time i played with lfg randoms then i got a cheater with a new account that got banned I left the fireteam and reported on him(i was hesitant about playing with him)

Ice watched a couple of these videos, an aside from checking stats to call people cheaters. Lucky literally does nothing else, his team does the pushes etc. Their the cheater beaters. You die most of the time hiding.

There's multiple problems with trials, but for somone who doesn't play them often, I've noticed that 70% of matches are paid on Lfg, quite a lot are mega try hards, and rest are cheaters. As an average player I've spend 6 hours trying to get a single messenger, simply because I don't want to pay or be a mega sweat. Yup, guess why I'm never gonna play trials again. This shit ain't worth the hussle.
as an above average player this makes me sad to see, i wish the less fortunate had a reason to get in playlist and have some fun but there’s just no incentive other than 2 weapons.
@@DivineIndra appreciate what you just said. I 100% support hardcore playlists, but once I unlock a weapon there should be a way of obtaining it outside of that activity. Maybe make me do a Grandmaster nfall once I unlock a messenger, I can only get 1 per week, but it's something, but first i have to take part in trials, make sure it's unlocked, so I try activity and then decide if I want to continue, maybe even get a good team. There should be more ways of obtaining armor and weapons from other activities and it definitely shouldn't cost players £50 for 3 trial ls runs, people profit real good from ghost lobbies and hacks.

I think it's the fact that trials loot is locked behind an entire sweat army of people. benefit of the doubt, maybe that person was a casual? People who try really hard to get flawless many times but don't succeed can be tempted to just go 'fuck it'.
That doesn't excuse them though. That gear is supposed to be difficult to get and not everyone is going to be able to nab it. It's unfair to the people who legitimately worked their butts off to get the Trials loot. It makes what should feel like an accomplishment completely trivial.Using cheats to get loot you don't want to put in the work to get is peak gamer entitlement.

After seeing this video after the video about you talking about 3 peeking with swords it got me thinking, if bungie makes 3 peeking impossible how are players like yourself going to avoid lanes with aimbot cheaters or look for their location around cover. Getting rid of it is gonna make cheaters excel at headshotting people even easier since you cant look at lanes to see if they are there.

I understand the concept of it slowing the game down but this is a game that has weapons with absurd amounts of aim assist on top of having bullet magnetism and running and peeking in first person with a weapon leads to being headshot more often than not.

Dude, I am a Computer Science student where I have multiple programs relating to specific memory management, network analysing to name a few, always running in the background working on compiling things or scanning my work..
I accidentally selected Destiny 2 to run a scan on - no, nothing the programs can do, can potentially permanently affect in-game activities; whether it's having infinite ammo, or any sort of 'hacking'..
I closed my game instantly thinking it will not affect my progress - I logged back in fine, only that 30 minutes later, relaxing in the tower, I receive a permanent ban on my D2 Steam account "by the game's developers"..
Uhm what? It was an accident that clearly cannot affect in game activities for permanent reasons.. and I get a ban? A long time, clean sheet, well over 8 years worth of gaming into this Destiny franchise, feels massively bad.
Then you have people like these hackers who clearly are cheating, and for the length of an entire match, don't get banned... lol?

Why would you have any mem scanners open anyway? Anyways the reason you got banned is because you called openprocess on the game. If you want a handle to the game you need to hijack one or create one from kernel. My cheat has around 3k hours of use from my few users without any bans. The anticheat only blocks entry level cheats.
@@dankmemer3452 I do quite a bit of software analysis/network analysis, so having mem scanners open is valid for the tasks I do, both as a student and as a developer.
I did not intend to try and attempt any hacks in the game, but like I mentioned, any of the programs I'd use cannot permanently affect the game's integrity.. so openprocess or not, it's still a silly process..

If it was any other competitive game I would be like, why cheat? But since it's destiny 2 it's whatever. At the end of the day Osiris is just a sweat pool, and people ONLY come there to get the desired weapon and leave, so if someone is cheating in PvP I assume they only play PvE, They saw the weapon that was up in Osiris, and knowing damn well they Ain't gonna get to the lighthouse, they cheat all the way through it and get the weapon and leave. This, I HOPE, is most of the cases with these cheaters.

He probably doesn't care because loot frequency in Trials is so bad for low-skill players that playing isn't worth his time otherwise. Of course the cheating itself is a huge problem, but if the right changes were made to loot in Trials (stuff like in Kujay's recent vid), then it would probably have an effect on cheater quantity. Let's hope Bungie can make the right choices to bake Trials to perfection!

Cheating is so bad, that the people willingly playing with cheaters are probably safer than the cheaters themselves.
Good cheats often cost a pretty penny. Why pay for a cheat to get wins when you can pay a cheater to get the wins for you at a discount? Detection often has less to do with playing with cheaters.
People don’t care about cheating cause it’s just a game but their lack of integrity will seep into their daily lives and cause whatever relationships in general they have, to suffer

Cheating isn't always about winning game after game. For the cheat makers it is a good challenge to reverse engineer the game made by hundreds of people. Imagine how well that will carry into their lives. Solving problems created by hundreds or thousands of people and a single person beating it. For others it is simply finding the best way to get good without putting in the work. Finding the easiest way to do something is also a great skill. At the end of the day who won? The people who spent hours playing an unbalanced game all day having next to no fun, or the people who use cheats and enjoy their entire time playing the game.

Nothing worse that watching someone teach other to cheat and bungie not caring.

Bungie should do : once hacker/cheater been identify. The Hacker/Cheater along with his clan and clanmate should be 'Ban'. This action is needed and is a MUST! Why? so to encourage all to support anti-cheater and hacker. When you are in a clan and you got ban because of your clan mate. All will treat this matter seriously. Unless.....everyone of them in the clan actually are hacker/cheater of cos they won't mind.
However, if it is because of the few in clan. More and more people will start to build up the awareness e.g. when enlisting a new clan member or while playing with the clan member. They will kick the suspects. Overall, it will help build a very strong community against hacker and cheater.

Don't get me wrong. Cheaters are ruining PVP hard core in this game and I'm totally for harsh punishments for the cheaters and for people that run with a cheater. If they are obvious cheaters (run with full auto snipers with infinite ammo or self ressing or flying around the map at warp speed...) and don't back out from the match... they should be also get banned already based on that one match. However, for aimbots and wall hacks and such... it's much harder to know for sure as a team mate that they are cheating.
