Thank you soooo much for doing this video. I used a "violet" dye that turned out berry red and I wanted and expected a deep purple. Now i feel MUCH more confident putting a dark blue semi permanent dye over it to get more of a deep violet. Oddly enough everyone wants to go from purple to red not visa versa.

Color theory is so much fun, you forgot saturation and chroma. 😂 My 10 yr old wants purple hair but her base is a medium brown, if your color will show up without me having to bleach her hair you win my money lol
Dye your hair white then do a bunch of purples and pinks and blues greens I think it would look like mermaid hair vibes 😂beautiful ❤just a thought 😊you probably don't respond any how l😂
Stella- if your testing the colours to see you like them shouldn’t you be using a clean blonde base hair sample to colour test them- adding dye on dye layering them isn’t how I would of thought colour testing needs to be done- as a hair dresser I wouldn’t of used this technique to decide you like how the dyes work- but this is just my opinion ❤
Absolutely! This was the very first thing I did! But many people dyeing or changing their hair color wouldn’t be starting with a blonde base - in fact many people want to see if they can dye their hair without bleaching or lifting at all. So I want to test how it works on darker colors as well!

It’s keeping it real that makes you so relatable, I also fully apologise if my comment seemed forward I was just thinking outside of the box, Also would love to see you dye your hair with a combo of emerald green with a realy vibrant copper tone- almost like a tangerine base shade - where you do the deep green underneath and then use a strong pure copper/orange on top. I think this would look amazing with your skin tones
don't you think it would have made more sense to move down into the more darker hues of those colors, because that way, it would match the color of your dark hair? Im not sure why you would think it would turn out brighter and more saturated in vibrant color...when your hair is dark brown/black. I think you make really creative videos with color theory, but your color theory is off when it comes to the darker hues. you should be almost at the 12th ring, on the color wheel chart, which is almost at the center of the color wheel. That will provide you with a more realistic outcome, with color theory science applied. unless your hair is bleached and then toned to a white shade/platinum blonde , it will never become more vibrant, brighter and lighter in color, than it already is. your base is important. if we tried to put purple on top of brown or black, we would get brown or black with a slight tint -barely- of purple. this works the same for hair dye.
Without wanting be mean (i actually don't care if i m perceived lik this as long as i get my point across) but i hope Stella is getting help for her OCD, it's clear she has an obsessive compulsive personalit. I had Extreme OCD (transmitted by my blood fam) til hlf an yr ago or so. OCD is treatable,, i had multiple obsessions including perfectionism, compulsive cleaning (fear of germs etc & i had good, some are 💯 solved results with some, rest will get solved in fol yrs. I wish her the best,, again i hope she gets help before ocd getting outta hand & destroying her life quality
