Im probably going to be frowned upon for saying this but according Polynesian history Hawaii Islands are the Islands of Samoa. Im Maori, anyways in times passed Tonga went and mixed with Fiji and grew big and dark skinned. Tonga then went and invaded all Islands of Samoa even though Samoa the older brother to Tonga gave all the islands south of Samoa to younger brother Tonga. Every island group of Polynesia has at least one tribe of Samoa.
Hawaii is Sava'i in Samoa. Damoa and Tonga still have the ancient Samoa language among the chiefs.

Although there is a supposed Maori king or rather queen right now she is not my queen for it is a European concept. Samoa has kept it real by keeping the chieftainship alive. If you follow the 'H' letter/sound throughout Polynesia you will see where Tonga invaded, I suppose Tonga is Kona in Hawaii Leo. So what I am saying is some original dark skin and lighter skin Hawaii kanaka so no fighting over skin colour please and know your Polynesian roots.

Note North in Samoa is Tokelau and South is Tonga that is because the islands North of Samoa is Tokelau islands and to the south is the Tonga islands , in Maori North is Tokelau and South is Tonga.
