- The Chargers were desperate to add wide receiver talent headed into the draft and liked Ladd McConkey so much that they traded up to get him. He undoubtedly will have a role as a rookie but, if he can gain the trust of Justin Herbert, he could absolutely lead Los Angeles in targets in 2024. Dan and David Buy and Sell the Chargers biggest storylines and overreaction including if they could bring in a free agent receiver after drafting three of them. I know it's just workouts, but watching Johnston this off-season makes me think he really is gonna take a big step forward and challenge for most targets.

I feel like Daniel is so salty that they didn’t take Malik, tackle was the move. We need to build the trenches like other championship teams. The chargers have always had the flashy pick and they need to build from the ground up

Current situation sort of happened in 2013 when we drafted DJ Fluker. Chargers moved our long time starting right tackle Jeromy Clary to right guard when we drafted Fluker in 2013. Same dubiousness as to whether clary could hold up as a guard that he was too tall and too spindly. He did alright. We made playoffs that year. Not saying this will happen but it did happen 11 years ago or so.

@@James-100He can't even catch the ball and he has lazy routes that why the times he is open the Herbert isn't looking his way. How many WIDE OPEN passes do you need to see him drop before you get it?
@@joffyjoffa Quentin had 3 drops and a drop percentage of 4.5%. Davante Adams' drop percentage was 4.0%, and Tyreek Hill's drop percentage at 4.1%. Granted, Quentin's drops were big ones, but if he's open, throw him the ball.
@@James-100 GTFOH just because they don't TECHNICALLY equate some drops into drops dose NOT mean you can run with that fabricated narrative as if he wasn't dropping the ball. ALOT of his drops he went up with gator arms or one arm because he is lazy in how he attacks the ball. I can show you footage of those drops and others. And he also lead the nation in dropped passes coming out of college. He's not a natural catcher of the ball he's a body catcher. And the fact that you even TRIED to throw around Devante Adams name like they are the same is pure BS and you know it. Nice Try
@@James-100 GTFOH did you REALLY try to use a FABRICATED stat and make it seem like QJ only had 3 drops? That's dosent want included the passes that flew right threw his hands, or the ones he went up lazy for and should've caught, or the ones he went up with one hand showing a lack of awareness. He dropped passes all threw preseason as well. Herbert goes to him and he drops the damn ball or doesn't come threw. He was also the worst of the worst coming out of college catching. He's a body catcher not even a natural catcher of the ball so what are you talking about. He had MUCH more drops than 3 even if they are not by the book. It's all on film what games were you watching 🤷🏾♂️
