I don't know about the majority of the audience, but I genuinely love when the AH guys talk about how their company works. It's really interesting and insightful to understand their day-to-day work flow and decision making for content. I would definitely listen to a whole episode if it were just business talk.
I would love to have a podcast with Geoff and Gus as the founders and Jeremy, Matt, Trevor, and Fiona as the newer members; sharing their experiences and explaining decisions and how things have changed and how things will change. I would absolutely listen to that.
If house party taught us anything, it's that they should play a random steam game 'lets watch' style once a week, and if its good it becomes a mini series like house party did, if not we just move onto a new steam game the week after.
TheMalibuLizard reminds me of cartoon cartoon fridays, would be pretty cool. Honestly the best part of House Party was their surprise, same as Gentile jousting campaign.
After watching the end of this I kinda wish instead of making cooking with Geoff and Gavin they made a show where Gavin came up with some weird parameters for how he wants Geoff and Ryan to cook some food item and they competed to be the first to do it
Their conversation about selling stuff in school really hit home for me. In my sophomore year of high school I would bring roughly 50 cans of various flavors of soda into school and sell all of them for a dollar each or 2 for 3 dollars. I would then go buy another 50 cans right after school and do the same thing the next day. I kept them cold by keeping them in insulated cooler bags in my backpack. I did this for months. I got so big that I even started selling to teachers and substitutes. Eventually two of the deans found out about my little enterprise but they left me alone because I wasn't actually breaking school rules, I would always sell the soda before and after classes as to not interrupt the classroom environment. I eventually had to stop because carrying 50 cans of soda on my back was getting pretty hard to do everyday. In the end I walked away with around 600 dollars in total profit. It was a good time.
I did that except I took inspiration from the diamond industry and limit the supply and sell for more. It depends on how gullable the person I was selling to was but I could get 3 bucks a can from everyone except the freshman. The freshman are idiots and buy caffeine for 20 bucks a can, it was crazy at lunch when I auctioned them off to the freshman tables. I once sold a single can for 45 bucks almost got it to 50 but the two kids fighting over it drew the line at paying 50 dollars for a single can of Coca-Cola. Keep in mind a 12 pack is less than 5 dollars, it varies between 3 and some and 4 and some dollars. I only brought 8 cans in and watched the animals fight for the scraps. It was a booming business. One kid even tried to take some of my market share and found himself kidnapped for a few hours by me and a few friends. We were wearing hockey masks and stuffed him in a trunk and drove for like 3 hours and threw him to the side of the road and said "that way is civilization, and don't sell no more sodas" (I of course pointed back the way we came). He tried to get us into legal trouble, but he didn't have evidence. However once the school learned I was selling on school property they fined me and suspended me for a while. It was a 100 dollar fine because most everyone at school didn't pay 20 bucks a can. The school probably thought the kid was trying to make it sound worse than it was. It was a fun experience too bad it ended. Dumb thief had to tattle.
Your fucking lucky your deans let you off easily. My deans from my old school probably would’ve sent your ass home doing that Also +Nick Hohl congrats on taking 50 dollars from the two stupidest people on the planet over a fucking soda can
There is no way this is correct. That would put the average at over 3.5 hours. I think you counted episodes like this one to be 229 minutes when it is 2:29 (149 minutes).
Best Off Topic in a while, the chemistry between this group of people was better than they know. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and going along with each other. Surprised Gavin let the others pelt him with actually spit wads, top man. 10/10 didn't want it to end
These guys are always fucking around and seem really immature and childish to a lot of people, but, when you sit and listen to them talk about how they do things and the way the company is run, they are fucking good at what they do, they understand the space they work in, and i fucking love and appreciate that, if anyone from achievement hunter or rooster teeth sees this, thank you for what you guys do
Then a 40-year-old, a two early 30-year-olds, and a late 30-year-old shoot spitballs at a recently turned 30-year-Old. Happy birthday, Gavin! It's definitely fun to hear them talk about what they do on these, whether it's Off Topic or the RT podcast.
Just so people know (incase he doesnt mention it again in the podcast) I think Gavin was going to say that there was a show in the UK called Super market Sweep where teams run around a shop and try and grab as much stuff as they can. if you want to look it up its SUPERMARKET SWEEP
I thought the achievement haunter episode was all around one of the best original things they've made in a few years. I'm so happy we'll have atleast 2 seasons of it!
Geoff talking about school makes me realize how shitty of a teen I was. I dropped a 4-litre jug of sour milk out a window on the second floor and onto my science teacher's Jeep in grade 7. I got suspended twice for fighting in my first month of high school, and in total had at least another dozen suspensions over the course of school. There's so much more that I shouldn't talk about, but man, real glad I grew the hell up.
John Knoneborg Yeah, most of my buddies from high school are dead now too. Mostly OD's or suicides. Luckily I grew into a functioning member of society with a good job and somewhat normal friends, but man I was a terrible kid.
1:09:00 I see those comments as well but, honestly, I love it when you guys play survival games and figure stuff out (wether it is by searching it up or just while playing). The banter and shitty stuff you guys do to each other is fun as hell!
In my 8th grade some kids in my 2nd hour (2nd period as some call it) started breaking the locker room ceiling and, not surprisingly knowing the people in that hour, they started climbing into it. They also threw a stool (not even knee high but still) up there. The principal came by with a police officer saying when they find them they will face criminal charges (vandalism if it wasn't clear)
This was a fucking great episode. Don't know what I loved more, between the teacher torture, the ass stuff, and some pals just cooking popcorn over an open candle fire
yea, when i was in high school they used to do something similar to the paper towel thing, except they would pack the faucet part of the sink with used dip (dip tobacco) so that when someone went to wash their hands they would get a hand full of used, wet, dip
At my middle school, there were quite a few spitballers/paper-throwers at the table I was in, but much to their dismay, on certain days where I was more alert, I dodged a lot of them repeatedly (actually, even when I was tired I still seemed to not get hit). I got bullied a little too much most days, but that was one of the things I was actually commended for.
i love how gavin says he would be worries about losing the value of money, but will throw a ball in a room full of thousands of dollars worth of equipment
Achievement Hunter is like a tv show, Some characters will be part of the plot A for episode 8, But than the next week will be part of plot B. Same way with games from AH.
code words are so the shooter doesn't know your going into lockdown not so the kids dont know whats going on all the codes are usually in your student handbook in the first 5 pages
Even if it isn't a student, doesn't take a genius to decipher that an announcement of "The cookies are done." in a monotone/ slightly panicked voice might be referring to the shooter.
Mucking the cards isn't about shuffling. It's when you toss your cards to the discard pile. The part I learned after double-checking on this: The discard pile/ burn pile is often called "the muck".
We had a lockdown once in our school where we were in a room with no real blind spots from the door and no door locks so the teacher had me and two other students who were known for causing fights to stand beside the door with a chair held like a club and we by total accident knocked out the vice principal who was going around jiggling door handles to test if we had locked the door. they almost fired the teacher but we claimed it was our idea.
It absolutely happened. This was 7 years ago in 2011 it was April and our high school was doing lockdown drills but because it was an older building some of the rooms didn't have a place you could hide out of view of the door so multiple times there were teachers that would either have students stand or themselves stand beside the door out of view with a chair. The teacher from my story to be fair was the fuck the rules teacher and I vividly remember when we made a robot that shoots ping pong balls in our robotics unit then had to modify it in some way my group made it mobile with a remote control and this same teacher said, now we just need to mount a camera on it and pilot it into the principal's office to rain hell.
I get the explanation for series like detroit doesn't continue, but i really liked the way you guys played the game, the commentary and actually trying to do all the task/seeing as much as possible in your first time experience
@4:25 will be one of my favourite geoff moments ever! "No I was in the seventh grade...that means....I was....12!......OH Fuck...i was millie's age..." awe geoff buddy. The instant realization
I had my first school shooter drill when I was in 7th grade (2007/8) Didn’t have another one til my senior year of high school (2012/13). Both times all we heard was “code red” on the intercom. Then we huddled in a corner. Teacher locked the door. We did nothing else. I’m glad that they at least teach the kids to barricade the door now. It’s far safer and proactive than what I had
Excited to hear Michael say he might stream the new Resident Evil 2. I’ll definitely watch all of it! 👌🏼😭 I used watch my older brother play it when I was younger.
i am a few years older than Geoff, we didn't do fallout drills in the UK, but our primary school teacher did tell us not worry as we were less than three miles from a primary target so we wouldn't feel a thing
1:13:30 That is definitely one of my top ten face cam Gavin moments, only behind when they were playing murder and Gavin walked in on Jack killing who I think was Michael, but Jack didn't notice him, and When they were playing TTT and Gavin was with Jack on some stairs when Gavin said _"Wait they died right here?"_ and on cue Ryan Sniped Jack.
I watched a drug bust from across the street of our Religious Release class at the church during the first hour of school during a lockdown, and our entire class ran outside to watch it.
Geoff talkin about the teacher at about 45:00, my mom's hs bio teacher literally kicked her out of class every day for no reason, to the point where the VP just let her pass the class bc she had to spend the period in his office (and he'd been promoted from bio teacher just that year as well so he felt a little responsible)
I don't know about the majority of the audience, but I genuinely love when the AH guys talk about how their company works. It's really interesting and insightful to understand their day-to-day work flow and decision making for content. I would definitely listen to a whole episode if it were just business talk.
same!
honestly, same, Listen to the way they run things I just listen and its like "oh! I can apply this to my channel a little" its helpful tbh
It's also nice when they use that business talk to explain a lot of the complaints of the audience.
yeah... can't wait for that Matt, Ezra business podcast.
I would love to have a podcast with Geoff and Gus as the founders and Jeremy, Matt, Trevor, and Fiona as the newer members; sharing their experiences and explaining decisions and how things have changed and how things will change. I would absolutely listen to that.
Geoffs’ “hello darkness my old friend “ stare off into the distance.
he's seen some shit & gets constant flash backs.
I think he's reading chat.
Geoff is slowly turning into a American Civil War General.
Stonewall Jackson lookin ass
More Like Ulysees Grant
Robert E. Ramsey
I cant wait for him to cosplay General Ulysses Grant.
he is from Alabama
Geoff's story about school better be an animated episode
Zak Keith what time is it at
Guess what?
What time is the story at?
Your wish has been granted by the RT Gods

If house party taught us anything, it's that they should play a random steam game 'lets watch' style once a week, and if its good it becomes a mini series like house party did, if not we just move onto a new steam game the week after.
TheMalibuLizard so like steam roulette but but more drawn out
Sort of. Not entirely random, maybe a random pick from a list of actual working games- steam is pretty full of shite that barely works afterall.
Yes rip off FH
Its also taught us how it was goin' dood
TheMalibuLizard reminds me of cartoon cartoon fridays, would be pretty cool. Honestly the best part of House Party was their surprise, same as Gentile jousting campaign.

Nick R. Damn , did u ever get some comp and feel like tony montana ?
I did that except I took inspiration from the diamond industry and limit the supply and sell for more. Your fucking lucky your deans let you off easily. My deans from my old school probably would’ve sent your ass home doing that
Also +Nick Hohl congrats on taking 50 dollars from the two stupidest people on the planet over a fucking soda can
(sing song voice)
THOSE WERE THE DAYS
"Founders' stuff" Is code for blood magic. Keeps the founders looking youthful.
definitely Gus thing
CButtonshaw
No. Joel thing.

Seeing Geoff happy is one of the best things in the world!
It'd be better if he wasn't so scrawny, ya know? Put some meat on them bones
135 episodes
498 hours and 45 minutes of videos (rounded)
20 days, 18 hours and 45 minutes of this.
kaze66613. Dear god I’ve spent over 20 days watching these guys shoot shit
JEEZUS H FUCK
do this for the rt podcast
There is no way this is correct. That would put the average at over 3.5 hours. I think you counted episodes like this one to be 229 minutes when it is 2:29 (149 minutes).
i may have messed up a few times, there's 135 episodes and i probably counted some wrong
I fell asleep at the start of the podcast and woke up when they were talking about F I S T I N G
This timing man.
if you shave his head, Geoff would make a great Kratos cosplayer
This is scarily accurate.
He would also need to get fit asf like Kratos Lmao
Alonzo Mendez shave his head and put him on a heavy workout and steroid cycle and maybe. If you just shave him he’d just look like bald Geoff
That's true.
He does have a beard. Well spotted.
thank you for your acknowledgment
Gavin's a god damn trooper this video for doing the whole candle on the head thing. Great episode all around. It's got a little of everything.
I think Geoff has broken him. :)
Geoff and Micheal teacher story 43:00
2:00:13 I love it when broadcast breaks character
PleaseClap That "Woah..." made me laugh way harder than it should have.
Mitchell C. I'm just wonder who said it
also got a "what?!!?" when Geoff was telling his biology teacher story. lol
Best Off Topic in a while, the chemistry between this group of people was better than they know. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and going along with each other. Surprised Gavin let the others pelt him with actually spit wads, top man. 10/10 didn't want it to end
Based off of the thumbnail, it looks like we’re getting the return of Sad Geoff
Tyler Oravec he never left
Sad Geoff the return of the saddening
RH: "Gavin, I promise I will never show you my genitalia."
GF: "Thank you man!"
Oh no
All that trouble that geoff did during highschool and middleschool years
Geez
Geoff needs a hug 🤗
God Lindsay and Michael smiling at each other in the background of the Geoff cam is so pure and good.
Hannah Goodwin I keep looking for it but can't see it. Do you have a specific time stamp?
Yeah do u have a time stamp
"how long is a foot?"
"one foot."
😂😂😂
These guys are always fucking around and seem really immature and childish to a lot of people, but, when you sit and listen to them talk about how they do things and the way the company is run, they are fucking good at what they do, they understand the space they work in, and i fucking love and appreciate that, if anyone from achievement hunter or rooster teeth sees this, thank you for what you guys do

58:26 for the Elements of Sucking AH Animated.
My man.
Nitin Suryadevara thanks my dude
20:13 _"Patrolling Alabama almost makes you wish for a Nuclear Winter"_
Just so people know (incase he doesnt mention it again in the podcast) I think Gavin was going to say that there was a show in the UK called Super market Sweep where teams run around a shop and try and grab as much stuff as they can. if you want to look it up its SUPERMARKET SWEEP
lmao I remember that show it was on in the U.S.A. in the 90's
I thought the achievement haunter episode was all around one of the best original things they've made in a few years. I'm so happy we'll have atleast 2 seasons of it!
Didn't Geoff set Matt on fire at one point?
THOSE POOR TEACHERS! I just wanna track down these now 90-something year old people and give them a hug - good god, GEOFF XD
Lol, you think they gracefully lived to old age after having taught Geoff?
This crew is so entertaining I have a stomach ache from laughing so thanks?
Geoff talking about school makes me realize how shitty of a teen I was. I dropped a 4-litre jug of sour milk out a window on the second floor and onto my science teacher's Jeep in grade 7. John Knoneborg Yeah, most of my buddies from high school are dead now too. Mostly OD's or suicides. Luckily I grew into a functioning member of society with a good job and somewhat normal friends, but man I was a terrible kid.
I once cut the finger off the gym teacher
Andrew P you know, without proper backstory on the situation that seems like bullshit, but in case it is true, what the fuck? Why?
Yeah I dropped out and started selling dope at the schools "burn spot" like a real winner. Glad I grew up as well aha
I know I'm late but the amount of praise Lindsey got for "found love in a homeless place" was beyond underwhelming.
That shit was a classic
I love how much the staff offscreen got into the spitball game
Loving the beard Geoff! Grow it out forever.
Seth Shumaker griffin took the razor again
KittenPyroNao I don’t think he’s getting it back this time.
Seth Shumaker or he's making it a thing again
1:09:00 I see those comments as well but, honestly, I love it when you guys play survival games and figure stuff out (wether it is by searching it up or just while playing).
The banter and shitty stuff you guys do to each other is fun as hell!
In my 8th grade some kids in my 2nd hour (2nd period as some call it) started breaking the locker room ceiling and, not surprisingly knowing the people in that hour, they started climbing into it. I love that Lindseys super powers are crack-hands and extreme lung power... uselessly impressive XD
I just realized Off Topic and Demo Disk are the only shows I’ve seen every episode to. Both strange, both hilarious
My favorite quote ever- “I’d stop but I’m a co-founder so you can’t stop me.” I love Geoff.
I haven’t loved Geoff this much since falls of the week
OH GOD REMOVE YOUR HEADPHONES AT 56:00, GEOFF WHY
Thanks for the warning!
Jey L I read this at 55:20
Jey L it started while I was typing that sentence
I never realized how much Michaels ears move when he talks...
Can. Not. Unsee. O_O
yeah, they've talked about it before. :p
mariekt where
This was a fucking great episode.
I think Until Dawn was doing great, but then they let Geoff play and the body count increased 10 fold.
I don't know about you guys but I almost died choking on my yogurt when Michael did that evil laugh.
Michael’s shirt 💯
They started making popcorn.... and someone at my work started to make popcorn.... so I can smell popcorn.... 😂 thought I was going crazy.
6 seconds into that "most annoying sound" and my cat went from sleeping to growling in an instant
These old podcast need more love
RTAA starts at 44:15
Thanks!
Wow that impression of Geoff's laugh was fucking good
haven't had time to watch OT in a while, came back to this episode, what an episode to come back to.
i love how gavin says he would be worries about losing the value of money, but will throw a ball in a room full of thousands of dollars worth of equipment
Seeing my 5 favorite achievement hunters in the same video out of 10 on screen talent feels like the planets have aligned.
I love it when they talk about Behind the Scenes stuff and the inner working of the business. It’s interesting to me
I am really enjoying hearing the business side of AH, its nice to get a little insight into the set up of everything
Achievement Hunter is like a tv show, Some characters will be part of the plot A for episode 8, But than the next week will be part of plot B. Same way with games from AH.
Easily the best Off Topic I've seen in months.
This is one of my favourite episodes!
Geoffs face at 2:04:40 "this way somethings always inside you" - Michael
This is probably my favorite off topic ever, absolutely worth watching all the way through to the end.
I love the podcasts with Geoff
2:03:00 I'm so glad I used headphones today. This was a very special podcast.
code words are so the shooter doesn't know your going into lockdown not so the kids dont know whats going on all the codes are usually in your student handbook in the first 5 pages

RODO125 not if it's not a student

vraiman16 yeah I was kinda thinking that too
Man, this may have been one of the most entertaining Off Topics
1:41:28 did not age well at all
It was funny though in a very dark way now
At 56 minutes my dogs went nuts 😂😂
Geoff looks great with that shirt. It's a nice look on him
Mucking the cards isn't about shuffling. It's when you toss your cards to the discard pile.
The part I learned after double-checking on this: The discard pile/ burn pile is often called "the muck".
I love all the engagement from broadcast tbh. Need more of it
Rehashing stories from Rtx London 2017 off topic and Rtx Australia 2018 off topic, I actually enjoy that because the stories stayed the same. 10/10
44:17, is the new RTAA thats only for first members this week SHHHHHHHH
I love how Michael turns into the adult sometimes

I legit have not laughed as much as I have watching this in like a month
10:38 not surprised ryans childhood had something to do with violence lmao
I get the explanation for series like detroit doesn't continue, but i really liked the way you guys played the game, the commentary and actually trying to do all the task/seeing as much as possible in your first time experience
It's funny when Geoff talks about prison like it was school :)
If you're here for the Geoff being mean to his teacher story from the RT Animation go to 44:15 😉
Micheals joke about the "Queen School Dril" fucking killed me x,D
@4:25 will be one of my favourite geoff moments ever! "No I was in the seventh grade...that means....I was....12!......OH Fuck...i was millie's age..." awe geoff buddy. The instant realization
anyone else notice how offtopic seems to be the only AH show where they stay on topic?
So many stories that would be hilarious as animations lmao i could just imagine them lmao i cant stop laughing
I had my first school shooter drill when I was in 7th grade (2007/8) Didn’t have another one til my senior year of high school (2012/13). Both times all we heard was “code red” on the intercom. Excited to hear Michael say he might stream the new Resident Evil 2. I’ll definitely watch all of it! 👌🏼😭 I used watch my older brother play it when I was younger.

In middle school we made little bows and arrows out of paper clips and rubber bands. Dangerous, but fun.
Micheal is exactly describing me messing around with online Gambling at 3:22 .. needless to say I didn’t continue playing haha
Every "Last episode" is always the best episode
43:25 Geoff's face when he goes "Aw fuck I was Millie's age...the moment of aw shit i was a fucking brat
Michael's Geoff laugh was fucking on point.
I like how this is the second occasion they've made makeshift popcorn poppers.
Omfg 1:46:30 I TOTALLY forgot about the song. Thank you, Michael 😂
I watched a drug bust from across the street of our Religious Release class at the church during the first hour of school during a lockdown, and our entire class ran outside to watch it.
I like how Geoff in high school was equivalent to half the kids in my geometry class
