I only played 2 sets, but my rank 14 Cresselia is doing pretty well. I've been using Dunsparce, but because none of its moves are stab, I feel like G. Fisk might be better

Lurantis it got me shredding through opponents shield so I can use my charged attack withought any worry

I have a perfect IVs for PvP shadow Alolan Sandslash. I'll change the bulldozer to the new move and try it because it was a Pokemon fun to play with even before the addition!
Likewise, it was so fun surprising the enemie with Bulldoze

I love how you include people from the pvp community
Been running Victini (Confusion/V-create), Scraftry (Counter/Power Up Punch & Foul Play) and Shiny Swampert (Mud Shot, Hydro Cannon) and that's been working very well. I sometimes swap out Scrafty for Obstagoon (Counter/Night Slash & Cross Chop) as they seem to perform very similar. I also like using Jirachi (Confusion/Doom Desire) as it deals with fairy types well and resists quite a few types. Don't know if any of these setups are that great but they work well for me.
Mythicals might be a bit fun to use, but Jirachi and Victini when Mud Bombs and Drill Runs everywhere doesn't seem appealing yet
@@shiny_lock oh yeah, they are super glass cannon-y and very very niche. But when they hit, wow they hit hard
I'm not sure if you do it for your playstyle or just the Psychic damage, but Quick Attack is the recommended move for Victini just so you know. It generates energy very fast and lets you spam V-Create like crazy.

Shout out Callum on Toast and Jamie Finn as other pvp content creators. Callum runs a lot of spice and Jamie is almost exclusively shadow mon in GBL.

I already had huge success ith Glisopod (no2 UL pvp rank) when it came out and used it with limited cups. Im excited to try it more.
The reason trevenant nerf hurts so hard is because it loses so much value through baiting with seed bomb when u can just go for one for shadow claw and get shadow ball.

Saw a glitch when I started the new season. For some reason it showed me all the pokemon you could get. From what I remember falinks and wooloo where pokemon you can get as rewards. I bet that they will be unlocked at level 15

I started playing Pokémon go September 2022.. last season I got ace, this season I got to veteran. That was my goal lol. Level 50 zekrom, level 48 groudon, and my perfect Lugia (level 51 with my best buddy)

This is why it's always good to keep any pvp iv pokemon tagged and kept just in case. No need to power up, just keep anything rank 50 or better

@@liam-toyne No need to worry about that, this people talk about IV, but they bare remember the last time that they won or lost by 1 % hp lefting. Even having mirror enemy, you can beat or lose during the rotation... The other situation is in the core of the top rank, they start to use the same pokemon and same strategy or rotations.. nothing new. Plus, the duel encounters its not random at all. This BS is manipulated to beat you if you don't use a counter of the counter of your weakness spot from time to time..

@@liam-toyne I also tend to agree w Marcus… I used a Nundo (0’s) melmetal pretty much till I got to rank 2,700 just by strat/decent timing. Don’t worry bout all this till your going for legend :) do save what you can tho!

*This comment isn't about PVP/GBL* but Tyranitar got a heavy buff for Raids this season as Niantic gave it brutal swing and on top of that you don't need an Elite TM to get it
I changed crunch to brutal swing on shinety eight lucky. Billy did a vid today about that.

I have a question: what thats change in pvp to have a xl pokemon ? Its better than a regular ?
An XL mon means powering it up beyond level 40 - that is using XL candies,
The higher the lvl, the better the stats, so in theory you want the highest level possible for your pokemon - that is why usually low attack and high def and stamina are best for PVP.

@@vaiuuii it's not about level. It's about stat product. Attack is weighted more in cp calculation than defense or hp, so that's why you want low attack and high defense/stamina, to fit in the most stats. If it were about level, than a 0% IV would be best since you can power it up the most to fit under the cp cap

I thought sizes didn't matter? Why does it recommend the XL for PVP? Or is that just how it was input and doesn't change anything?

xl means level 40+ which requires xl candies
now we have to run double fighters to counter it
I have a shiny Dunsparce with 15/15/11 IVs that is 1495. It is a monster unless I go up against fighting types.
tbh it can still do decent against fighters with drillrun
Seismatoad is also a beast in Great League
I’m in the midst of building an XL dunsparce for ultra league.
That is a lot of work and resources... I'd rather build an XL Umbreon if I were you.... Dunsparce is ranked 500+ in UL and barely gets just above 1900 with perfect IVs
Just because it’s ranked low on PVPoke doesn’t mean it’s not a bad Pokemon. When you really think about it it can handle most of of the fliers (especially charizard) and probably handle some neutral matchups.

can confirm that medicham is insane againts me (im low lvl so and dont have the best team) I use azumaril glarian stunfisk and scrafty but when i play madicham I have to usaly saq both shields just to kill him with azu cuz otherwise im dead if I dont get to my play rough

golbat moveset is better then crobat that's why we use golbat

I got legend last season, my first ever season, with normal stunfisk, delphox, and carracosta. I only had 1 move on both stunfisk and carracosta too lmao.
So lucky trying diff teams but in half of my matches getting worst leads

metagross is way too glassy for great league. Use something else like ninetales or sableye instead
like other person said - try switching out metagross for a safe swap like sableye

no. it doesn't even hit 2300 cp at level 50, so at level 40 it would be even worse. use swampert instead

Why don't have global challenge in Season of Rising Heroes?
Answer definitely is remote raid pokecoins increased by almost double. Consequently many pokemon go players quit the games, if Niantic launch any global challenge in this time it must definitely can't hit the target with remaining global pokemon go players and the FIRST EVER happen in pokemon go history, that's why Niantic not dare to had global challenge at that time.
Starting Season of Hidden Gems at same time many interesting new Mega like Mega Tyrannitar, Mega Rayquaza, Diancie and it's mega form Axew and Froakie community day in the teaser. There will be Mega Lucario and Mega Herocross in respective in person pokemon festival ultra bonus that's why Niantic start again global challenge during water festival beach event.

Sandslash is overrated it’s double week to fighting and fire, if you come up against a counter user pokemon, it needs to win switch when they swap out so it will be hard to win switch, it’s still really good don’t get me wrong, but I think that it’s overrated

every pokemon has its hard counters and its good matchups - doesn't make it bad - look at swampert super weak to grass but crushes it

There's not such thing as "Best Pokemon on PvP" because Sandslash cant do nothing against any Counter User, but yes,Drill Run is a major upgrade for it
There is definitely "best pvp pokemon" as that is what a "meta" is - but I do agree there is no best pokemon overall as everything has counters
Finally my 0 12 14 Quagsire is viable
