Except steelix it was really great and fun moves to use because of Pokemon that it used.. haxorous helioptile rayqaza i enjoyed them really well but steelix 😢
@koltonpower-schmidt2552 wiggletuff is pretty tanky, just has decent mon to cover it. Poison and steel. But if you run into it without those your will probably loose.
I could be way off base.. but I’m doing very well with garchomp clefairy sylveon . Garchomp charge attacks are relentless… I’ve took some L to a couple skarmony teams but I’ve come away with more W’s so far.
6:25 shadow charizard would be much much better on this team than talonflame. Safe swapping skarmory is not very good, especially when shields are up, talonflame is probably worse as a swap, but it is better with shields up now that it runs fly over brave bird. Shadow zard however is one of the best chargers and can usually bait out good counters to skarmory and get shields down. Skarmory is best in the 0 shield scenario, so using zard to get all shields down is much better.
Best budget team for Ultra League for me personally is Skeledirge (Incinerate, Disarming Voice, and Shadow), Gyarados (Dragons breath, Aqua tail, and Crunch) and Venusaur (Vine wip, Frenzy plant, and sludge bomb). Skeledirge is a good lead and most of the time forces a switch. It does great damage and incinerate charges moves insanely quick. The biggest threat to it is water types and other ghost types. I usually counter them with Gyarados. Crunch offers great coverage against Giratina and Aqua Tail is a great fast move if you switch into other fire, rock, or ground types. It does neutral damage against swampert so you could get some great damage off against him before you go down. Venusaur is mainly for water types. It gets walled against the majority of physic types so it’s not optimal but it can build up frenzy plant fast and is a good option to counter most charm users.
To be honest, I think Medicham would be better with power-up punch instead of a dynamic punch That extra buff with the counters can help you win fights without having to spend shields (Sometimes using only one), apart from the fact that it can enhance the ice punch for flying types
Obstagoon with counter and obstruct is still rocking! Obstruct is the only move I know that guaranteed raises your defense and lower theirs every time.
@KingSleaze916 yeah it is, from the community day. But in my opinion, if you can spare it, it is worth it to use the elite tm. Obstagoon with these moves kills in the ultra and great league. I use him and shadow Walrein as back up to Wigglytuff or shadow Gardevoire. Solid team and I get good results.
Rotom original form will be Tier 2 raid boss during Sinnoh Tour. Original form Palkia and Dialga will be Tier 5 raid boss during Sinnoh Tour. Arceus Sinnoh Tour second day and will be limited time based like you all experienced in Elite raid. Brand new name raid for Arceus called Tier 7 Master Raid. Prediction.
great video. I’ve been pushing for content creators to make more in depth videos on the meta changes, move updates, and deeper analysis of pvpoke, which really only translates to them taking a screen grab of the top 20 mons. Daxi making the new standard for pvp content?
I don't get why Raichu is never highly ranked. It seems to always have a counter to the top threats, can spam moves, and has decent enough bulk to tank 1-2 hits. I guess it always has bad matchups against mud bois but Trailblaze should help significantly with that.
Skeledirge is like Greninja but Fire/Ghost. Fast Charger and I bet that everything will run rock moves in Ultra league to threaten Skeledirge and Talonflame. I’m definitely keeping a Fire type on all of my GL teams to check Skarm tho
Fast Charger but problematic since it's easy for Opponents to catch its moves/Sneak fast moves in/Throw before you can throw the move due Incinerate being a 5-Turn move. that +5 damage buff to Incinerate does making it more reliable tho, since if Moves can't KO/aren't super effective then at least Incinerate will do a great amount of damage. Although as a bonus, in low elo people tend to throw on alignment giving you Incinerates for free so that's always a nice thing ig. Honestly, I think running Lanturn in a team is more reliable since it checks many safe swaps + walls Skarmory's energy + great counter swap for when your opponent swaps into Skarmory on your Carbink in the lead etc. but that might just be me.
So, question to the pvp guru's, I have a 2493 Hundo Poliwrath that I love using for Ultra League with bubble, Icy wind, and power-up punch. Should i switch to Scald?
Been leading with ampharos with garalarin slowking and also mamoswine people have no idea who to do and use the blocks so quick then i just farm up i went 9- 2 between two sets so far the two losses was my mistake and not using my blocks correctly
I mean while it's important to know what your team loses too Almost everybcombination of 3 pokemon will lose to something jist based on the sheer amount of team combinations
I use lucky quagsire (don’t think lucky affects it) with water gun earthquake and I use skamory with steel wing brave bird and then shadow shiny dragonite (shiny doesn’t affect it) with dragon breath and outrage. Quagsire for being good against lots of things with fast charge and lots of dps with water gun, skarmory for being good against lots of things, and then shadow dragonite for high dps. Not really using ones against specific typings just ones with good damage against lots of things
A lucky Pokemon costs half the stardust to power up, and has a minimum IV's of 12. Since the attack stat affects CP faster than defense or stamina, the ideal attack IV is 0 for most Great and Ultra League Pokemon. It probably doesn't matter much until you reach major competitive play.
Superpower > Outrage is preferred for the coverage against Ice Types and the Single-resistance to Fairy Types instead of the Double-resisted Dragon Type move Outrage, but hey if it's working for you then go with it ig lmao And as a bonus, it hits for Neutral against Wigglytuff since Fighting is super-effective against Normal while being single-resisted by Fairy!
Does cradily, azumaril and medicham sound like a good team? Or what should I swap medicham for? I really want to try and hit legend this go around but great league is the hardest one for me to build a team for
Very sad for rayquaza. Do nto know why pokemon go made it si weak. He shiuld have been stronger than dragonite in my opinion. But om Really expecting a buff for rayquaza in the next season
I’m just getting toasted by losers who just use legendary pokemon for their whole team and it really makes me upset because I can’t use all my best pokemon I’ve caught over the years and have to resort to raids for more legendary
I love the battles but I don’t follow any of this stuff. I just use who I like and it’s been working for me. Right now for great league I run heracross, noctowl, and Lanturn but sometimes use amhparos
R.I.P. Rayquaza, Haxorus, and Heliolisk.
Breaking Swipe 2023 - 2023
Thanks for all your hard work & entertaining videos over 2023
As soon as I heard that steelix got nerfed I jumped out of my bed
I hated when those MF with breaking swipe used to lower my attack
Except steelix it was really great and fun moves to use because of Pokemon that it used.. haxorous helioptile rayqaza i enjoyed them really well but steelix 😢
Breaking swipe replaced with icy wind. Lol
@@GenericMidwesterner At least the pokemon that can learn icy wind aren't that tanky
@koltonpower-schmidt2552 wiggletuff is pretty tanky, just has decent mon to cover it. Poison and steel. But if you run into it without those your will probably loose.
With Steel Wing being buffed, Skarm will be the King of Flying Cup
PERFECT TIMING! I just got into PvP and boom here you are. Thanks dude
0:37 that skarmory cry is a good addition
I could be way off base.. but I’m doing very well with garchomp clefairy sylveon . Garchomp charge attacks are relentless… I’ve took some L to a couple skarmony teams but I’ve come away with more W’s so far.
Just changed from ice beam to icy wind on my wigglytuff, thanks for the info.
10:30 no abomasnow too got icy wind so both r fast af
true

Or pelipper on the swap, but you wouldn't really lure out mud bois

Medicham nerf is always a nice thing
Sadly all my mons I enjoy or like are not mentioned, looks like im still the off-meta guy this season x:
Thank you I’ve needed this video!!!
To be honest, I think Medicham would be better with power-up punch instead of a dynamic punch
That extra buff with the counters can help you win fights without having to spend shields (Sometimes using only one), apart from the fact that it can enhance the ice punch for flying types
Great to know Skarmory gets a buff finally because i have a bunch of them from pvp
Obstagoon with counter and obstruct is still rocking! Obstruct is the only move I know that guaranteed raises your defense and lower theirs every time.
Is obstruct a legacy move? Mine isn’t able to learn it
@KingSleaze916 yeah it is, from the community day. But in my opinion, if you can spare it, it is worth it to use the elite tm. Obstagoon with these moves kills in the ultra and great league. You don't see a lot of fighting types on master league you actually see a decent amount of machamp running around
I don't get why Raichu is never highly ranked. It seems to always have a counter to the top threats, can spam moves, and has decent enough bulk to tank 1-2 hits. I guess it always has bad matchups against mud bois but Trailblaze should help significantly with that.
It's base stats aren't that good, it kind of a glass cannon
I got waxed by trailblaze unexpectedly last night and it broke my heart 😅
I battled home slice Henry earlier and wasn't even mad when I lost lol, cool experience
What team was he running? And what team were you running? Am interested to know.
He was running deoxsys vigoroth obstruct obstagoon and I was running trevanant carbink and spark lanturn
@@braydenlaurie8077 Obstruct Obstagoon is spicy damn. It seems like quite an even matchup though, what do was the reason you lost?
It was close, lost to cmp tie
@@braydenlaurie8077 I see, can’t wait for the day I get to play against him too.
Fly is going to be huge for my high ranking shadow Staraptor.
I have an issue that it doesn’t let me finish battles, what’s all that about?
This is just what I needed!
Every time I try using water gun lantern I always default back to spark. Its better on paper but not in play
Agreed. I find more coverage and energy gain overall more with spark for sure
Please make a vid on how to use pvpoke to maximize battle strategies

Incinerate now eliminates poor grass types in just 4-5 moves. Cool, I love my fire-breath crocodiles 😁
Would also like to plug PoGo Grind’s RUclips channel as a great PvP resource
Hecking Love PvP wowze😇
Gonna be an interesting season, way more changed than what I expected which is nice!
Where are the other creators linked, I don’t see anything
They really released Rayquaza made us spend money to raid it then killed it with this nerf

Medi perform exceedingly well with dyn punch slap in a lanturn lead and you are chilling
How do you get high IV pokemon in GO?
I used 10 tm... no icy wind, only ice beam ( or what it's called in English haha ) in wigglytuff. maybe because its from 2019??
other pokémon that are good are umbrion and houndoom, my top two
Steelix needed the nerf but part of me will miss the 100+ catch cup wins it got me

Waiting for the PvP streams to return.
I have a shiny skarmory waiting for its day
Let’s hope the Discord Bot doesn’t ruin this season like the last one? If you think it’s gone, you’re fooling yourself…
I have a 96 stat shadow rydon should I purify it?
No!
shadow rhyperior is a very good rock type raid attacker so don't purify
Alternate take, the value you get out of maxing out raid attackers is not nearly worth the investment half the time.
Hair is up today.... nice
Zwldridge underrated
Daxi please do Guarantee Lucky Trade 2018 videos, its kinda confusing for us
I use the same pokemon no matter what the ‘meta’ is
Love the vids keep it up
most of these haven't even been spawning
