I have a 2023 version and i love it! The only wish i have with it was more range. Everything else is spectacular!

How much KW does it use at 110 km/h. I know the Xc40 does like 21. In contrast the Model Y does 17.

I have an XC-40 Recharge with the same "small" center screen. I consider it a plus. From a design standpoint, I just think it looks better in the car and doesn't look like someone just attached a computer monitor to your vehicle. While a larger screen could be helpful while using navigation, or maps - the built in google maps works very well and will tell you ahead of time where to turn so there isn't a need to reference the map often. In addition, there is a smaller map that you can use right in the instrument cluster if so desired, that gives a zoomed in view. Overall, the build quality, design and traditional physical controls sold me on my Volvo. It's solid. The Model 3 for me is too radical a departure from traditional vehicles with everything on the touch screen and also strikes me as primarily a cost saving measure.

I love the screen size but my only complaint is when you are streaming movies, a slightly bigger screen would have been great 😊

Nice video I actually own 2 of the XC recharges in the household and they are pretty great. Was considering the c40 but as a family man I needed the extra boot space.

I have been driving the sister car XC40 for a few years and if I had been given the option, I would of opted for the single motor version w longer range. The duel motor provides way more acceleration then I would need and longer range would be nice instead. Thx for the vid. I enjoyed watching.

When criticising the info display size you totally fail to mention the large gorgeous driver display that other cars do not have (Tesla).

I laughed today: I fell in love with this car’s look, and shortly thereafter discovered that it’s the SECOND most expensive electric crossover.
      It’s hard having good taste

Ive only got the core model the new rear wheel drive ,its devoid of any luxury Features does seem to be solidly built buts its too expensive and not very efficient consuming 24 kw and comes nowhere near its advertised 570km range probaly because of its suv shape and all the unseen safety features adding weight .

I’m a V90 CC owner. The efficiency rating of the Volvo C40 is ummmm… horrible.

@lahithamalaki depends where you live, right? But even if running on coal , EVs are still cleaner than ICE.

@@doittoit00Although true, you can say that until you run out of breath. But sad to say, facts won't make any difference to this type of ev detractor.

@@dmandman9 I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt until they prove otherwise. The question was fair, and depending on what this person had seen before could be based on false information.

@@doittoit00 I usually do as well. So I hope you’re right. But I’ve grown cynical because ALMOST all (not quite all but most) people who make that statement either 1. Refuse to believe it even if I furnish several reputable links to back up my statement. 2. Promptly bring up another negative (true or false) about EVs. If that’s addressed they Bring up another and another until I realize that they’re just opposed to EVs period. So excuse my cynicism. I hope you’re right though.

Seriously?? 😅 You even have Google Maps right in front of you in the driver's display. No other EV can do that I think. Its fantastic. What more do you need?

Although bigger is always better is preferred, it works well and the maps function is clearly more visible in portrait screen. Only complaint is when you stream movies. But it’s all good for now. Figure the ex90 with its massive screen will make up for it 😊

Try it first, perhaps. Or wait for an EX30.
