I would love to learn the way people speak at the dental office vs the professional way. I am just having difficulties to understand clients needs.

We are in the process of developing self-study courses for the workplace, and I've passed on your comment for a dental assistant one. I'll link it here if and when it becomes available.

When did the pronunciation of hygienist change? This is the third video with the alternate pronunciation given instead of the standard way to pronounce it.

Hi Colette, it might depend where you're from. At Ellii we use Merriam-Webster as our in-house dictionary, and you can see they list both pronunciations in the entry for "hygienist": www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/hygienist

@@ellii I understood that already. My point was that you chose to use the secondary or alternate pronunciation, not the main one. Do you teach nuclear as the alternate /nukuler/?

@@colettebernhard2532 We're a Canadian company, and we all pronounce it the way it is in the video, so to us this wasn't the alternate pronunciation.
