Something to consider when informing the crew is to let them know that you’ve moved the companion way steps while accessing the engine bay. Quite a few folk have nose dived into the cabin due to lack of steps as a result of not knowing!! Your vids are great - thank you.

      Excellent point.
A sail tie across the companionway and an isolated battery have saved many a finger and broken ankle.

Perfect -- Under W = check the seacocks (and any bungs etc....) -- open/closed as needed; Obviously close the RAW seacock BEFORE taking the top off of each SW strainer and then when you are done open it/them again. 2 x Eng, ~+ 1x Gen + 1x water maker ..... Grey/Black water export cocks.
All the seacocks that should WORK (i.e. not be frozen, and be open or closed prior to sail should be in the correct orientation. AND one should have a BUNG/wooden plug next to each sea cock and a rubber mallet near buy so that in an emergency you can stop any water from coming through a broken seacock or other near bye hole in the hull.
Use a check list like yours. -- but I would want to tick and confirm each item.
Periodic check -- check the log is not fouled and is accurate.

Absolutely. Thanks Andy. It's always tricky to know when to stop adding stuff in short videos but I totally agree with you. Cheers.
