i always sat there for a minute after booting up anomaly before playing, this theme fits stalker so well. it's like the music is telling you, "ready for another adventure?"
to me it doesn't really say anything, it's just... pure loneliness in audio format. it's just you, your rifle and the zone. first time i booted up the game and the soundtrack hit me i was just enchanted. god, what a track
@@maximpikalev9538you kinda validated my opinion when I made that wish for world peace, only for me to roam the world alone, 100 Rads bar absolutely broke me when I went there, I had lost my grandma recently so I was on a sadder spectrum, I thought I'd might see barkeep somewhere but no, they're all gone, their world was at peace while mine is still in a conflict state.
Something about this is just calming and relatable. The tune feels very emotionally relatable. Not really sad or happy. Somewhat beautiful in a way, yet odd. Like a man sitting, contemplating without thinking of anything. Like zoning out, but thinking of nothing.
True that. Honestly it amazes me how people can compose such simple tracks that can provoke such unique feelings and that can be interpreted in many ways.
This has always struck me for it's eerie, surreal, liminal, alllllmost unsettling aura. But ultimately, there's a strange comfort in it. Like it knows you.
I forgot how nice vanilla anomaly looks like... Mods are epic ofc but that vanilla stalker look has something in it. Maybe it's just nostalgia but... I love it
Honestly to me the feelings this theme gives is very unique. Putting aside nostalgia it gives off the classic general stalker feel but more of an outer, disconnected view. Like looking into The Zone and its life from the outside and not caring about the dangers and experiences within, if that makes sense lol. I guess the calming nature of the theme is responsible for it. Also realised I feel it more especially during set up when choosing factions, character portraits, location etc. Regardless, thanks for sharing.

When I first heard this music, my soul told me, "no need to be afraid, no need to resist. Accept this game, accept the zone. Let her in," and I obeyed. I liked the original trilogy, but after listening to this music and passing through, I liked the anomalies more, as well as the music. The zone began to penetrate my soul. Now, a piece of the Zone will remain in my heart forever and it will never leave me now, and if I leave this place, then it will call me to itself with such force that I will not be able to refuse, resist, and even more so leave. Stalker and the Zone are forever for me
i remember using the companion mod for this game, brought 3 guys with me to do the Lab x16 (because i was a p*ssy) 1 got killed in lab, other killed by bloodsucker and Giant mutant when we was escaping the lab through the underground tunnel. back to base i took a quick smoke to calm myself down from the horror in that hell hole
Sorry for the late reply, but i can’t remember the exact name. I think it might be the great swamps? I remember finding it on google images when i searched LR300.

I agree. The complexity of this theme is negligible, yet it's still super encapsulative of what the zone is. Bleak, dangerous and full of mystery.
@@YamacKocovali7 And it will keep provoking even more feelings the older the game gets.
Ah the memories this music and screenshot bring... The old days.

This look is lost, it always had something. Sad that the developers decided to follow the tarkov realism route.

Great Swamps
