Thanks appreciate that it's just a gopro on a chest mount, the time of day was afternoon I think between 1pm and 5pm but it did start raining during the last shots.

Just started recently going with my dad, were enjoying it, 3rd time going. got the whole way around 1st Time had a time to be back for something and 2nd he crashed and hurt his ribs today (3rd) completed all red trails was fun but feel dodgy as don't know where to position myself etc and finding bermes going right I'm I'm more confident and don't break as much bermes going left feels like I'm going to go flying off it aha weird not sure why I'm more confident going around the same thing just a different side, don't want to put much faith into my tiers leaning either, do you have any tips buddy

Hello so I would say that it mainly just takes practice, I think that a big part of getting used to the berms is that you eventually need to have a leap of faith and just trust that your tires will grip. In order to go faster you need to be up higher on the berm because leaning more is what helps push you around the corner, but you can build up to it slowly... maybe by doing the same trail a few times in a row and building up speed each time. There are a couple of really good trails for that at Bedgebury, I can't remember the names but I think that that the trail at 00:53 (I think it's the second trail on the loop) as well as the short trail at 04:46 would be good to practice on. If you're doing it right you should just feel like you're 'in the zone' and it should be really nice and flowy with smooth transitions between turns... it'll take some time to get there though. I'm not sure why you find it easier going one way but it's probaby just that your body favors one way over the other, kind of like being right handed vs. left handed.
The hardest part is getting that initial confidence and learning what the bike can do... but once you do you should build up the muscle memory quickly. Glad you're enjoying Bedgebury and mountain biking though and hopefully your dad is ok.

@@spinningtrue thanks buddy, hes ok bent fingers back and possible rib fracture but seemed to smash the whole course so not bad going, I got new tyres to maxxis aggressor on the back and dhr2 on the front so I know they're good just gaining confidence I guess

@@ADAM721758 Keep practicing, you'll get there. There is no rush, this isn't a competitive sport! The important thing is to have fun :).

Nice, how do you get so good quality and not pixilated ?

Thanks and I'm not doing anything special it is a GoPro Hero 9 and I usually set it to 1080p, 60 frames per second. I have found that filming in bright light definitely helps, it struggles a bit when it starts to get darker.
