I'm not supposed to tell people that my great grandpa was a bootlegger, but he's been dead for like 30 years. After prohibition, he ran his own liquor store. Interestingly, we found Bill Clinton's name in Grandpa's old ledgers (before his presidency, of course). We're guessing he was a customer at some point. We don't know much about his hidden endeavors, but he said some crazy stuff after the dementia set in. And when my mom came to take care of him, he'd forgotten who she was and thought she was a hooker. He'd say, "Oh no thank you, young lady. I'm a married man." 😂 Despite his dementia, he died a happy man, peacefully in his sleep. He was a cool dude.

In reference to that story at the end of this video about the guy who went into the cave and the chain started swinging. There's a really easy explanation for why that happened. It's ventilation. I work in a mine. We have numerous abandoned minds all over where I live as well as one of the former deepest mines in the world. Even in an old abandoned mine, the ventilation will still be really strong and is strong enough to make chains. Swing back and forth. It was either that or he's full of shit in his buddy was swinging him because there was no monster or ghost in that cave

I don’t expect to get an answer, but what video was mentioned near the end about caves? I really want to watch it but the only results for “call of the deep/depths” is some TTRPG vids and miscellaneous cave videos. I want the specific video Wendigoon mentioned but can’t find it. I’ve heard the term “call of the deep” before but it was about people going crazy and swimming to their deaths in the ocean. If anyone does actually know and can tell me, it’d be much appreciated and thanks in advance.

I came here after 10 minutes of the first podcast with wendigoon, hoping for better audio and I actually was surprised to find worse audio. That's truly shocking. Back to square one I guess.....YOU DID IT ON PURPOSE TO MAKE SUREEEE PEOPLE WATCH THE FIRST EPISODE WITH SHITTY AUDIO AND COME HERE AND SETTLE BECAUSE THEYRE ITCHING FOR MORE...I SEE YOU!
