I’ve been craving this kind of ride again from Disney for so long. A slower, immersive ride with more practical effects and animatronics. A really great change of pace from what imagineering has been doing recently.
I love these types of rides. I have no interest in those 'ugly' (IMHO) coaster parks where all we get is a steel roller coaster in a flat parking lot with no theming (I'm looking at YOU Cedar park!) ;) lol. These types of dark rides are just so beautiful to behold.

The only thing I will say is that Disney gets lazy and uses animatronics in frozen but projects faces on them which makes it look bad. Tiana’s bayou isn’t finished yet anyways and thus we haven’t seen the animatronics in motion.

@@SlushysSecret it's not really about how it's ran, OLC PUMPS money into the Tokyo parks. Disney doesn't have to spend a dime and OLC is NOT scared to go big and spend money for qulity. It's said that FS cost OLC about 1.2 billon USD to build.
I can relate to you....I was "tearing" up when Japan put out that FANTASTIC Beauty and Beast ride~!! I am frustrated that WDW doesn't have the attractions that Japan is putting out.
OLC is quasi independent of Disney, they just license the IP from Disney but they're in charge of the building and design of all their own rides (with permission and oversight of Disney Corporate of course). OLC has pride in their attractions and because of the exclusivity contracts, these rides won't be coming to the USA unless there is room for it at the parks and it's over. 5 years from the opening date (overseas). OLC is what American DISNEY should be, but is not.

This is what Tiana's Bayou Adventure could have been-instead we got a random, half-baked new story no one has any emotional connection to. The Tangled ride is perfection
I love what they did to the ride but I wish they could’ve added more scenes like an inside of the snuggly duckling with the pub thugs singing I’ve got a dream, the festival view where they are dancing, and mother gothel in the tower
Wow animatronic are getting better and better I can't wait Tiana's Bayou which our America side at Disneyland and Disney World. I wish I can do something like that but let the professional do all hard work and it so wonderful.
I love Disney Tangled the movie the ride looks so cute I wish Disneyland in California would add this attraction in California for the Park at Disneyland!

They can’t. OLC, who owns and operates the Tokyo Disney Resort, has it in their contracts that whenever they create original attractions, they can’t be cloned anywhere else. This will stay exclusive to Tokyo DisneySea.
If this was in the Disneyland park, they should place it where the motorboats used to be and include some waterfalls like in "Pirates of the Caribbean".
The animatronics are wonderful and the theming is gorgeous, but the ride only really has three scenes, four if you count the outdoor section (which I don't). This is a step in the right direction for disney, but this feels half baked.
Because Tokyo Disney resort is owned by the oriental land company and they are willing to pay Disney to get top tier rides/animatronics/decor/etc. Imagineers can really unleash the magic. If Disney is building on their dollar, there’s gonna be a budget
Has there been a boat ride fitted with the Shanghai pirates technology so far? This seems the usual water flow propulsion we know from around the world.
The animatronics here are top tier. This is what the States parks are lacking... memorable, beautiful stories told through real experience, not screens and gimmicky tech that ages out in two years or less. If I have a concern, it's that those first three animatronics are obviously sophisticated but also outside in the weather, and I'm wondering how hard it will be to keep them from breaking down.
Dear Disneyland and Walt Disney World, Please, pretty please bring this ride to the states and have Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi reprise their roles from the film.

It's on test with a selected small public, most of them influencers specialized on theme parks. There can be several changings and adjustments at the attractions during that phase. Official opening date is June 6th, they are now running against the clock.
I think that was all of it. Its a short ride and i know this is full ride because he up loaded the peter pan full ride. Its just her going to the festival that's it. Its not a journey ride like frozen
@@j.j.q1379the peter pan ride is described as being around 6 minutes. The video on this channel only has around 4 minutes of footage. There are still a few scenes we haven't seen yet from peter pan, namely the native american village scene (tiger lily is confirmed to have an appearance in the ride).
I think they wanted it to be just a love story ride without the need for a climax. I don't think it's bad, It does feel a bit short, but it does jump a bit if you know the story. It's really just a simple dark ride for the kiddos, like Frozen.

My goodness, Eugene looks straight up from the movie, Rapunzel’s hair looks so soft and realistic too, and the lanterns are mesmerizing 💖

An average dark ride/water ride made nowadays are averaging 5 min so this is normal.

Bc Tokyo Disney Sea and Land are owned by a company (not Disney) actually focused on entertaining its guests and families.
Unfortunately, if this were built in Florida it would have to be a high-speed roller coaster, most likely sacrificing yet another iconic ride.

It's just missing Mother Knows Best 🎵 Where is mother Gothel? If they do this anywhere else that can be the "scary" theming part of the ride.
