2023 WMC HOLIDAY CONCERT (Re-Broadcast of Live Performance)

Thanks for joining us for a series of uplifting Holiday season performances by
The Willamette Master Chorus, conducted by Dr. Paul Klemme, accompanied by Patty Hurley,
The McKay High School Concert Choir, and the Trail Band Sextet.
Our program features music that signals the arrival of the season
codified in the form of carols. Carols are defined as songs that
are sung joyfully and with mirth. In our modern society, carols
are sung with texts that are either sacred or secular. These performances
have both.
We extend greetings to the McKay High Concert Choir and the Trail Sextet
who are partnering with the Willamette Master Chorus. Our sincere thanks
to the students, families and staff at McKay High School for supporting
this superior choir. Congratulations to directors Hannah Abercrombie
and Peter Sepulveda on several recent awards to the program at McKay.
We also welcome back the incomparable "Trail Sextet". This beloved
group of musicians brings a spirit of spontaneity and glee that is terribly
contagious. Thank you to Cal Scott and Phil Neuman for the new arrangements.
