I checked out an RA at Torbay scooters a few days ago, and it has to be said, I am tempted. Maybe it's time I pensioned the old PX150 off as much as I have enjoyed her. Nice video Alan, good on you.

I've seen lots of scooters on the market over the years that try to be the new 60s scooter. The Royal Alloy seems to be the one that has really hit spot. Admitting that it is new.....as did the Vespa and Lambretta when they hit the market. There seems to be good uptake on the Royal Alloy and the accessories are available as well. All MOD Cons with some quality that is to be envied by the other retro scooter manufacturers. Appreciated by classic scooter owners. This scooter is the model that has hit the ground running imo….everything you need for short commutes and buzzing around. Got mine ordered and collecting this week. I've owned 6 scooters over the years. Looking forward to this one and to jazzing it up a bit. Because these scooters do have everything about them that makes them suitable to be MoDed up as a modern version of the classic scooter. I so glad that a modern scooter has hit the market that can hold its own!

Nice video mate and both good looking scooters.I've never owned owt but Lammy and Vespas but would consider a Scomadi at some point.Spend what you earn on what makes you happy,and ride safe.

Thankyou for your input on this classic looking scoot ! 👍Just put a deposit on one same colour as yours 👈 just got to remember no gears & clutch on handle bars otherwise I’ll be stopping rather sharpish every 10 yards unlike my old LI 150 although, I think I stopped quite a lot from time to time ! If I remember right! 🤔🤣🤣

Good afternoon and I've just watched your video. On your scooters. Is there any chance next time you take the panels off to do a comparison of the engines. Between the two stroke and four stroke. I'll be grateful to see this. If this is possible.

A far more comfortable ride, no clutch , gears ect . Road test test coming soon.
Question. You've had this for a year, how many miles have you done and how do you rate it now?
Sold it as it was under powered now waiting for the 300 to arrive. Still liked it as a good scooter though.
I really wanna get another scoot its been decades since I sold my PX 125 and these are looking great. Still undecided about whether I want a 2 stroke or not, I sort of do but common sense tells me don't be silly and so this is probably a great option.
If you want reliability and a simple twist and go then these are fine. An old 2 stroke Vespa or Lammy is gonna give you trouble sooner or later. So just be prepared for it if you decide on an old 2 stroke.

Used to go to lots of rallys when I was younger. Loved to smell of 2 stroke and watching the beer and banana races...scooter tug o' war etc. I'm brother had a Li 150 series 2. Good times.

Hi Steven, run at a quarter to half throttle for the first 500 miles, then go to three quarters throttle up to a thousand miles. Then that`s it. Enjoy the bike, I am still loving mine.

£2500 for a plastic chinese scooter is mental ..... compare this to an AJS modena which is quite rightly around £1600 and has the same engine in it. I've been told that when the 5 year chinese patent is up anybody over there can make them and the price will come down accordingly.

I have to say although it looks quite smart and obviously has the benefits of 'Mod Cons' there are some terrible things also: that exhaust is just pig ugly and needs a complete redesign, then the stupid rear footrests ( what the hell?) the idea of a scooter is to have sensible running boards with plenty of room for passengers feet. I realise the engine is wide and needs more kit but it looks like they copied the Lambretta deck and lost the boards. Why on earth did they not widen the rear boards to give the same room as the original - it would be soooo much better.

not knocking mate ,if it get`s more people on two wheels or people back on two wheel`s I`m all for it and besides it`s a hell of a lot cheaper and better looking then any modern vespa
