Kind of surprising given that your tests seemed to show that the Miura TC-201 said, "hold my beer" to every one of those clubs. If I could afford them I would get them.
Great episode. Completely agree with the T100, ZX7 and T350/300 respect. Also agree to consider more categories, at least the mentioned Players Distance. Perhaps even adding Mid Handicap between Players Distance and Game Improvement.
I don't think the t100 feels that great. Probably will get ripped in the comments here, but I've always found that irons that pull tons of weight away from the center of the clubface and put it in the heel and toe don't feel very solid. It looks great and I'm sure it is very forgiving for its size and category, but I think the srixon wins for me. Feels awesome. Wish it was a touch smaller profile but you can't have it all.
Actually you can... 0211 st blades. Looks very compact all around but feels amazing 🤌
Srixon ZX7s feel way better. Mizunos too

I tried so many irons this year and went with the cobra king tour 2023 irons and absolutely love them. I know cobra isnt the biggest name brand especially in irons but man i absolutely love these

The picture in the Game Improvement podium shows a zX5. Is this a better game improvement option than the ZX4 in your opinion?
You need to demo them to be honest. My handicap would suggest I should be hitting a ZX5, but I hit the 7’s better. Iron selection usually comes down more to swing speed than handicap persay. 4’s will launch and fly further with less control than the 5’s, which is helpful to seniors and those with lower swing speeds.
Thanks for all your work and videos. The P790, and to a lesser extent, the P770 are nowhere near the "player's iron" category. The 790 is a thin-faced hollow body loft-jacked rocket ship of an iron that doesn't come close to something like the ZX7 or Ping i230. The 770 isn't as bad as it has reasonable lofts, but it is still hollow-bodied. I'd take the Srixon, Ping, or t100/150 any day over the TMs.
I think Players refers to the size. P770 is smaller than i230 last I remember. P790 is more of a game improvement size, I agree, but it's a very slick design with a sole that's not too chunky.
@@lkae4 You could be right on how they classified them into the same category. I think what gets me is both the TMs are hollow designs typically associated with player's distance-type irons. You're right, TM does a good job of cleaning up the size and looks of both irons.
TM Stealth HD is far more forgiving across the face then Titleist 350, its also way easier to get height.... Who cares what it looks like
