@@jimjoneston1893 Probably. At least Lawrence is proving people wrong. He's doing the QB position right. Sit in the pocket, look for your reads, and get the ball out. I'm an old-school QB guy myself because my dad was a QB and he was always going on about the best QBs he'd been around in training and at camps were always pocket passers who could pick apart defenses. Pat Mahomes could be a pocket passer if he had a solid O-line every season, but he's also mobile and uses that when needed, and I think that's the direction that everyone is headed in. QBs have to be mobile and at least able to scramble for a few first downs and maybe scramble around to get other guys open. When I have a pocket passer in game I know I have to get the ball out quick because they won't be able to do what I want them to outside the pocket in Madden. Whereas with someone like Mahomes or Allen, I can scramble for a few yards and I can get out of the pocket without fear that they'll be able to catch me right as soon as I leave the pocket.
