I fell in love with this music when I was 9 years old and we took an ocean liner along the Mexican coast and at night they would have these dances in the main ballroom and the outdoor ballroom and swing would play until 1am. I was in heaven. We also had to dress up to the captains ball. It was amazing for young gay boy to see all the elegant gowns and men in nice suits. Best part was the outdoor ballroom. You could dance under the stars.
