Another impressive speedrun, the any% world record was already awesome and this tops that imo. It’s so satisfying seeing such great Christopher gameplay for Belmont’s revenge especially with the smashing music. And that Soleil fight absolutely stunned me.

Great work Mr. Climb. This might be the best game on the game boy. My only gripe is that only the Japanese version got a color release. Usually I wouldn't care but I love having the axe in the other versions.
Locked IN. Sticker Star is pretty bad though. Combat is completely unnecessary, having all your attacks be consumables is interesting in concept, but not really executed that well. And then there's the things and the completely arbitrary bossfights. Very, very, very rough edges on a game that does away with the fun characters that made the old games so memorable.

i think you forgot one game... :D no i get it, the regular any% in Adventure is almost a No Hit run anyway, but i just wonder why nobody ever even tries Adventure at all, when it's really an awesome game. i see speedrunners run the weirdest nonsense but never anyone on the OG handheld Castlevania. anyway, nice damageless run. long live christopher^^ PS: btw i made the sickest new guide about CVA just months ago, in case anyone happens to grab themselves a heart one day... if you catch my drift
