I am a HUGE fan of sml and I probably have been for longer than you even. What I'm saying is they have good potential to make good impactful stories. Whenever they have a serious opportunity for character development, they just shun it down and turn it into a joke. Like for example the "Brooklyn guilt" video consisted of Brooklyn guy reminiscing and feeling guilty for all the deaths of the people who died in the fire, instead of keeping this guilt factor so that he values life more, they turn it into a joke and take away the guilt completely, undoing the character development. Yall have to watch the video twice before replying

This was actually so well made and entertaining! Especially because I agree with every point you've made. I was so excited for Jeffy's 18th birthday because it has always been the big thing to look forward to, and after watching it despite a third of it being filler, it was my favorite video (Or just receny bias) because of the budget and effort put into it. It genuinely made me cry. But now that they brought back Jeffy's mom several times, I can't even bother to watch it. I loved it for the feeling it gave me and the realization that Jeffy murdered someone who has been tormenting him his whole life. That's the thing that made me cry. Now it's just the most disappointing part. I still watch them though because it's been a routine for half my life and I'm not going to stop because I'm used to the disappointment of stuff not meaning anything but I really do wish they should put more effort into making something canon and worth something Side note: Junior and Penelope getting together was the worst thing they've done in years. Penelope wasn't too likable to begin with, but she was a lot more likable when her personality wasn't just a bitchy girl that junior cheats on all the time
