We traded in our snowblower and winter boots for shorts and flip-flops! 🏖️🩴
We are 2 Canadians that sold everything and moved to Mexico on October 14th, 2021
We packed up 3 suitcases each with our then 12-year-old Maltese & hopped on a plane for Cancun. ✈️🏖️🩴
Please follow us on our journey across Mexico, mis amigos!! We'd love to have you follow along on this life-changing journey! Let's learn together, friends. 🙏🏽
We will stumble and fall many times but we will continue to get back up and push forward. 🥰
We moved to Mexico for a slower pace and ahier lifestyle, under the sun in the sand & palm trees!!
Making new friends and experiencing a new culture and language.
TACOS did we mention the tacos are yummy!! 😋🤤
*Update: everything we own fits into our 4-door car with a topper* 😁✌🏽
We started our journey looking in the Progreso area of the Yucatan, using a realtor.
Update: We ended up living in Merida for the first 6 months, then we moved to Progreso.
Update: We then moved to Chicxulub, then back to Merida.
We then moved Coatepec, then to Xalapa Veracruz; we are now on the Oaxacan coastline, chicos.✌🏽 Next stop will be Metepec, a town just east of Mexico city, then we head to Cancun for the winter of 2025/26
I hope to see you in Cancun on the white sandy beaches of the Caribbean ocean. 🌊🏖️
You can join us as we travel around Mexico, staying at each location for approximately one year; this way we can fully explore the area. It will also keep our content fresh and exciting for us all, chicos. ✌🏽🎉🎊

Hola hermano 👋🏼👋🏼❤️
Muchas gracias for watching and supporting us here.
Hope to see you soon. ❤️✌🏼
She was very friendly. A good resource connection if she's doing property management.
Looked like a fantastic Saturday
Hey bro, I hope you are doing well today. 👋🏽👋🏽
Ya, she was a super friendly, nice lady; we have yet to run into her again.
You are correct; it was a great way to spend the morning; we really enjoyed ourselves.
We love going to that restaurant; the food is reasonably priced, and the view is perfect.
Thank you so much for watching and commenting; we really appreciate your support. ❤️✌🏽
Fully enjoyed this wonderful video! Szuch a beautiful place!
Hey 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Hope you guys are doing well. 😊❤️ Hard to beat breakfast overlooking the ocean 🪸🌊
We don't need to tell you guys that. ❤️❤️🙌🏼🙌🏼
Thanks for watching and supporting us here guys.
Have a great week. ✌🏼💓
I was offered a 11-hour bus ride to Huatulco, with 2 night's stay crammed into an Air B&B, with strangers... I had to say NO! Just didn't seem worth the price they were asking... ugh! I told my husband a 2 week minimum would probably not be enough. Mexicans like to book these trips that are SUPER FAST... where they pose in front of iconic signs or sights and then quickly leave... I do NOT get it????? As always, I enjoy your leisure bike rides to the beach! :)
Hola amiga 👋🏼👋🏼
Ya that would be a hard pass for me, just the 11hr bus ride alone ya NO. LOL
You really gotta make it here one day for sure. We'll be saving you a spot under the sun in the sand. Muchas gracias for always being here commenting and supporting us. We truly appreciate you for it. ❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼
@@2GringosOnTheGulf Thank you for the encouragement. I am relying on the Mexican part of our family to help arrange things and it just doesn't work for me... I have already done several of these trips with them and they never go very well... They like to go to Iconic places just to get a photo in front of a place or building and they rush to the next one! I like a minimum of 10-21 days.. right now, I am here till the end of April, but I still want to go places.
