Where the Germans wrong in invading Poland, yes, it was rigth to wish the dead of them all, no. Not talking about hoping to win the war because that will be totally licit but you just adressed that you hope them to die, aparrently not knowing that in a war situattion it is in more beneficial to injure the enemy than to kill him. If the case was that you care about Ukrain winning, you would be happy that they returned, not only because they are human beeing, but also because it means more money going to pay health and pensions therefore less money to keep figthing.

Soldiers respect each other. Yes bad things happen in war, the lose of innocence for so many combatants and non combatants. But I, not for a second, will think that the actions of a few destroys the honor and bravery for the majority. As a former soldier for the US military I am happy these men got to see their kids and family again. It is a rough world we live in but I 100% believe that the US and Russia can be amazing allies one day. I for sure would love to visit Russia one day.
