M/S of a line of girls with long, crinkly hair walking briskly past the judges (two men and two women sitting on a settee) of this long hair contest; some girls have very long hair, past waist level. M/S of the girls bending forward so that their hair falls down from the back of their heads, over their faces. Same shot from a slightly different angle - the girls all suddenly throw their heads up and back and giggle as they flick their hair about. They then turn around and toss their lengthy manes, giving us a back view of their locks. (Some look like Cousin It from the Adams Family.)
A woman with short, cropped hair (could be one of the judges?) fondles the long blonde locks of one of the contestants, then turns around so the blonde can touch her short hair - oo-er!

I wish I had All that hair! My hair is long but you can’t even tell bc I’ve lost so much hair do you health issues 😢 Can anyone please tell me how they all got their hair so crimped ? was it just because it had been up in braids or some thing?
They look braided to me but if it was only the braids it wouldn't be crimped on the scalp so I believe it's second day hair where the hair was curled and the slept on braids could even be their natural texture stretched into braids or maybe even a crimping iron to some of them (I've seen quite a few commercials promising this result and it looks like the easiest way to achieve this result.
You could achieve nice deep crimps with u pins, I'd direct you to Longhaired flapper on RUclips who's been doing a few videos on actual methods available to people between 1890 and 1930s, mainly focusing on the 20s obviously
