a slow start to a new year

Gently welcoming a new year.
The new year often feels like a stressful time for me. There's this pressure to "get it together" before the new year starts. With the busy holiday season and other surprises life throws at me, I find it difficult to accomplish tasks that "closes out" the past year and "kicks start" the new year in a timely manner.
This January, I gave myself permission to reset and recharge for the new year at my own pace. It's almost a month late, but I feel refreshed and ready for the year ahead of me.
