I just found out i hsve curly hair after about 2 years if thinking its wavy and treating it wrong and while i dont have any products currently so my curls sturghle to hold there shape in my countrys weather so im going to try this until i have some better products for my curls ❤
This is how the character Molly did her (straight) hair in the American girl books 😭❤️ I did this as a kid and my grandma told me she would do this when she was young too! I need to try as an adult ❤️
Most tutorials for other curlers have you wrap the hair flat (like a ribbon on a spool) which makes curls like a curling iron. If you want the curls to look like in this tutorial the hair has to be twisted when you wrap it around your finger or curler, like she shows. Otherwise you should be able to get similar results with something like foam rollers or strips of fabric
The best way to spread out the curls for fuller hair is hair serum!!!!!!! this way the ends wont look frizzy and dry. rub it into the fingers and then at the ends of the hair...the hair wont look dry anymore at those ends.
@@amberdawn6793 turns out my hair was naturally this curly and was just damaged from chlorine. Curl cream + this technique made it bounce back. Salty water just enhances your wave/curl pattern :)
Wdym??? She was at first showing you the back so you know how to twist it. then she shows you the other view from the front so you know how to put the pin in.
This works so nicely, I suggest doing this with your hair a whole day before the event to give the hair some time to get loose and look better.
Thank you!🫶🏼
This looks soooo time consuming but WORTH IT.
I have really straight hair, but i will try it, and see if it will just look like mermaid curls, or this beautiful bouncy result! Love it!
did it work?
Did it work???
I hace to know!!!!😢😢😢

For those asking,it's hard to get heatless curls for people with straight hair
I came for the short! It's beautifully done on you ❤❤❤❤
girl this is gorg. my aunt did this w my hair years ago with denim rags. THE most beautiful, bouncy & voluminous curls i had ever seen or achieved
I love this method it literally saved me thank you queen❤
Ur so smart to come up with such smart simple technique and your curls look natural.,
Well she didn't come up with it, women were doing their hair with this technique at least 100 years ago, same with using rags to make curls.
she dose have natural curly hair!
Not something invented today, been going around throughout history
My mother used to do this to my sister's and my hair when we were children. She called them Pin Curls ❤
God I love u 😭 u made me appreciate my natural curls❤️
thank you!!💛 that means a lot for me!
im gonna do this later, my original hair is quite wavy and my mum has super curly hair so i think mine will turn out nice 💓

Would this help with curl training? My curls have suffered deeply after bleaching and dying it multiple times 😭
It doesnt help if you Brush it out after ❤ curls dont work like that
I have short, pin straight, and layered hair but i might try this

Did it work and last?
@@Iris_is_me tbh I gave up after trying to do more than 2 because it was killing my arms and my straight hair can hardly hold a bobby pin 😅
@Lowkey_Vibing okayy I had some hope😭 cuz my hair is very long and straight
I will still try it tomorrow to see
@@Iris_is_me okay let me know the results! :D
@@Iris_is_mehow did it turn out?? 😭
Gorgeous 😍
I do it and it’s work so good
can i blow dry the hair for a faster result?:)
How many sections did you do on each side of your hair?
Can you do the same curls but an alternative way because hair pins don’t work for me love the curls ❤❤
You can use flexi rods or alligator clips or even strips of t shirt cloth

Does it work with really long hair? Like 80-90cm
How long does it last?
the curls look so pretty!! should you wait for your hair to dry after putting the pins in or should you go to bed with your hair still damp?
I'm waiting for that too🤣🤣
You can do it damp. I have always done that with different types of curls and it's always worked.
Anyone tried doing multiple sectioned french braids with this technique?
Yes girl!!!
tysm!! i used this for my school pic day🫶
I only have 6 pins 😢😂
REAL SAME 😭
if you have thick hair this does not work, i have naturally thick wavey hair, and i spent two hours trying to do this and it just didnt work for me
the amount of time this would take.
Is it for any hair? Because I have strait hair and I really want to do that😊
Try it. My daughter has straight hair and it works for her. We just need to have product
and you can write all your hair care products I will be very grateful🥺💕
How many hours should i leave it on without sleeping? I can't sleep with these hair contraptions xD
Would this work with salt water instead of conditioner?
About to try this, will update soon!
@@amberdawn6793 that's alright. I already tried it, it worked with regular water for me. But uh, my hair now dries like this too. That's just me tho
@@WildCake ah word, I ended up post poning it anyway haha might just try with water in that case

I can’t see. Could you show a better angle?
Why are you facing backwards?
fr😭

@@CFC7452 nah shush
Whatever but if you are going to be rude just don’t say anything
And if you don’t know how she’s doing it I think you gotta get something checked
But her hair are completely wet when she starts?? Mine would not dry in a night!!
does it work on thick, wavy, frizzy long bob
Wauuuuuu danke
Ughhhhh why won’t this work for me I did everything 😭😭😭
I know this might be a dumb question, but will this work with people who have straight hair?
no
@@symphoniaix1895 Oh ok. Thank you for telling me!
No
How do you sleep without it opening or unravelling?????
some ppl have a silk pillowcase and some people use bonnets!
You re so cute
What's the point of shaking the roots?
for volume ig
If your hair is straight, will this still work?
Most likely, yes
It may be easier to see if you’re facing the camera 😂
what’s your ethnicity ?
🙂🙂
Me will a lot of thick hair 😢
Would it work for thicker hair ?
I have thick, short hair, so if I try this method I'd possibly have tons of shrinkage. Idk how it would look but I'm going to try it!
How did it went, @@iLikeDEERz :]
Hiii
hii🤍 how’s your day?
My hair is too thick for this :
Never mind I see.
probably not comfortable to sleep in
Will it work on Asian hair??
i got mad for it not wanting to go my way ad threw bobbypins at the floor🥲👌
Does this work with pin straight hair? I love these curls❤
