That's 55 US Gallons ;) I saw this rig 25 years ago in Australia but the Tire was still on the wheel & the wiper motor ran directly against the tire :)
sanBastian123 this was the standard speed. Twinned with the bike wheel the animal was doing approximately 2.5 revolutions per minute. A bigger bike wheel would have meant less revolutions... I believe that most older wiper motors will be the same speed. Thanks for watching!!
You could have just to put a rubber wheel on the wiper motor and bring it closer to the bicycle rim so they would touch and you would alleviate the belt you never have to worry about a belt breaking one less part to use more stable
I know the video is kind of old,but a got almost the same ,the only difference is a got some bicycle sprocket with a wiper motor...only thing goes to fast..
Excellent job. My dad made one in the 90's. Instead of the bicycle wheel he used a sprockets and a chain and it is still going strong.
So awesome. I put one of these together with an RV slide out motor. Great job
I love the inner tube and gearing idea.
Thanks that's very helpful & simple, I think I can make.
Nicely done. I wonder how to lock the bicycle wheel to the axle.

Type and size of motor
Great Job!
Thanks!
Mighty yummy invention you got there mate...... cheers
Using the car battery charger to go from 240v to the wiper motor.
@@foodrelated 24v
which motor did you use? I was looking something like that
See below
Any old wiper motor will do. They have enough torque to move up to a 45-50kg animal...
The wiper motor can run for 3 to 4hrs without any issue.? Thanks
Dig the setup! Thanks for the vid. Question: How long did you run the motor in total (you mentioned 2 hours)? Any threat of overheating?
Julian K Mun thanks man! The motor never overheated and we used to run it for 6-8 hours.
Wiper motors have heaps of torque.
Yes the motor will never overheat with that slow speed...
Hi how many volt of your battery charger you use???And how many volt of your wiper motor??? I hope you answer my question thank u so much..
Gonzales Claire just a standard 12volt battery charger.
Thank u so much for your response., 👍👍so informative vlog.,
perfect
Awesome. Thank you fir sharing
Beautiful. So how did made yours spin that slow. Some said it spins so fast.
MPL O big bike wheel to small cog on the wiper motor creates 2.5 turns per minute.
@@foodrelated thank you so much. God bless you.
I wonder if adding a dimer switch which allows you to speed or slow it down?
Set up looks great!!
is that the usual rpm of the wiper motor? are most wiper motor have similar speeed?

if you pay attention towards the end of the video you will notice that he is using a battery charger to power it up.
