An important question for both India and the entire Buddhist world is ' What can we learn from the destruction of Nalanda University at the hands of foreign invaders? ' The answers lies in establishing Buddhist Defense Leagues. Had a Kshatriya manned Buddhist Defence Corps been guarding the Nalanda University it's destruction at the hands of 200 or so foreign invaders could have been easily averted. If you are unable to defend your land and Heritage you forfeit the right to claim them as your own. Warriors i.e., Kshatriya community, are at times necessary to protect yourself, your family and property. If the Buddhist world fails to learn this lesson from the tragedy of what happened to Nalanda University, history might get repeated to the detriment of the current generation of Buddhists. The danger of being overrun again still lurks.
Please convey to the New Nalanda University administrators that it’s already looking awesome but needs to landscape the areas around all the buildings, roads and passage ways. With water reservoirs and plenty of sunshine, we could have a Forrest in no time! 🙏🙏

THANK YOU SHEKHAR FOR SHOWING THIS EVEN THOUGH ITS NOT A CLICKBAIT........NO MAINSTREAM MEDIA LET US KNOW ABOUT THIS.
Makes me so happy to see this civilizational reboot of an ancient institution. Wonderful.
it feels amazing to see INDIA embracing its ancient grace and glory by reconstructing its ties with the culture and ethnicity it has to offer. PROUD INIDAN !!
Not india, it's BIHAR embracing it's ancient grace and glory!
@@sanjanagoswami8460just this university is in Bihar but I think you haven't heard of the Kashi temple?, char dham highways? Buddhism circuit being built via roads, railways, airports?
Very interesting coverage and elated to know about it!! I don’t have the hallucinations of Viswa Guru - we all are here to learn from each other is the concept i Learned in life! But it will be a great idea to dig deeper into our ancient education systems and knowledge!!
Unimaginable that old nalanda university was spread in 10km by 5km range
first time @theprint media is doing well and sometimes in the favor of India 🙌🙏
Very nice report 👏👏👏 #ThePrint #KritikaSharma and the team 👏👏👏
It's high time a Dharmic Union modelled on the EU is set up which would include India, Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Mauritius.
Some secular will come and say why not Arabic and Islam 😁
If we really want nalanda to be like the old one then we need to give it its own autonomy, the ancient nalanda was a place for free speech, discussions and debates were many scholars could express their opinions in open manner, it should be a place which accepts change and innovation so it can imitate the real glory of our ancient nalanda.
And that questioning of everything shouldn't be labelled as phobia😊
Those who destroyed nalanda we have station named ,placed named on him..
Beautiful report. Thankyou The Print.
Wow... What a brilliant recreation... Really proud of the ppl who have done it...
Person who destroyed Nalanda has a city named after him in the state. Irony of our beautiful country.
Aryabhatta, Bhashkrayacharya, varahmihir and more studied from there and tought there.
The reincarnation of the Nalanda University is proof that a good idea can never die, whatever the forces of bigotry and ignorance may have done. The darkness that came to smother this beacon will be eradicated one day. Prof Sunaina Singh’s eloquent expounding of the University’s “vision and mission” shows how much the tide has turned. With her focus, efficiency, and commitment, she can power the University into a world-class institution in its area of activities. Congratulations to her and her staff. Future generations of Indians, and students from all over the world will regard her with respect and affection.
Thanq to explore...
Thanks for covering and reporting from ground, please keep doing this kind of great work
First Thing that comes to our mind after hearing Nalanda is that Invaders distorted it
Excellent coverage.
🇮🇳वंदे मातरम्।।
Our Bihar's history
My hometown 🙌🙌
Indian Needs to make this University The World No.1 University of the World as It is the World's First University
Lol train station in nalanda is named bakhtiyarpur😂😂😂😂😂
Yes..it needs to be changed….
so u wanted it to change .
Yahi to is desh ki vidambna hai
Secularism ke chakkar me Sabko chutiya banaya jaata raha hai
Dont worry we change it very soon 🤣
Food and cultural adoption seems to be concern among all foreign students, hope authorities take note of feedback.
First of a kind University for Bihar. Unfortunate we have nothing here except for Nalanda University in Bihar
My home is very close to the ruins as well as the university.... I'm so happy...hope it regains it's lost glory...💓🌹
So that one of your heroes can destroy it again
@@lovekanaujia345 I ain't got time to hate...😪😪
Have u visited the campus? The university looks like a construction site. Is the pace of construction slow?
@@aryanhassan4659 Do you consider Bakthiyar Khilji as a Hero though?
@@tejamaihunmarkidharhai774 do u consider savarkar and nathu ram godse as your hero though??? they were literally indian hindus....unlike khilji who was a foreigner muslim...
Print said everything about university except how and who burnt it down *Communal Print*
nalanda must introduce science courses also.
An important question for both India and the entire Buddhist world is ' What can we learn from the destruction of Nalanda University at the hands of foreign invaders? '
The answers lies in establishing Buddhist Defense Leagues.
A huge part of our culture and heritage died with the destruction of Nalanda, but thanks to the Chinese scholars taking this knowledge with them it survived and thrived in China but was forgotten here...
Now that knowledge has declined in China with the communist government.
You should have make a video on the work of Amartya Sen regarding Nalanda University.
I hope and pray this same community does not destroy Nalanda 2.0
Nalanda 🙏👍😘❤️👌😍🙏
That's a great initiative 👏
Instead of a Chinese song as BGM they could have used left-liberal Arab music as BGM to highlight the secular credentials of The Print
Tibetian Song not Chinese song
Its not Chinese song. Its Tibetan Music which derived from Magadhan Courts Music. Everything from A to Z went from Magadha to Tibet. Nothing is lost or burnt.
Purvajo ka dharohar Hain yeh. ❤️😢
Hope this helps everyone, the people involved, Bihar, India and the world.
Is it renovated university or new university near the old one.
Amazing and mind blowing.
Wonderful
showing it like a old film with those usneeded graphics made it very annoying..however, good to see the developments and thanks for making this video
Oh Yes!!!!!!!!
We need more universities.
The Narrator has no knowledge
how great this place once was
I wish the library of Nalanda has survived. So much of our knowledge got burnt in Nalanda Library. Because of Khilji we have no knowledge of our past. We lost most of our scriptures and historical work. I hope the new Nalanda becomes a hub of science, technology and spirituality.
the opening monologue is wrong, those 3 are great knowledge centers but they r not the only ones, India was filled with such great universities, telling only 3 is kind of downplaying the greatness of this land
Indian heritage will prosper forever..
Great. Must have Ayurveda and Vedic mathematics etc. Must have other moder courses
And Still there is a city named Bakhtiyarpur...
Bakhtiyarpur Khilji was one Who destroyed Nalanda
1:20 to 1:24 why are the ancient bricks being broken? What's being done by the ASI?
Make it GREEN!
We must bring nalanda back to its Glory
Takshila, Nalanda and Vikramshila were centers of learning not universities. University is a very European invention.
*Bakhtiyar khilji 2.0 is also taking shape*
The Bhutiya student was so exited. Loved it
