You know the Axis Bold cover, is actually kind of a mistake. When the artist asked Hendrix for an idea for the cover, he replied "Do something Indian", meaning, Native American but the artist gave him the 'other Indian'.. India, the country. Hehe that explains the rather incongruous theme for the look of the second album.
Eventhough I do not like & or listen to this particular band, my favourite album cover of all-time is *The Clash - London Calling.* I mean if it does not *SCREAM … ROCK N’ ROLL* then I do not know which album cover ever has.
Like it. Also the early King Crimson album has an incredible cover.
I need a copy of Californication, def their best post-Blood Sugar album
I like Uriah Heep and the art. I am also keen on mythology and fantasy.
Abraxas by Santana for me.
