    I saw your perk list and I think with the new base kit Unbreakable change, there is more reasons to run Low Profile, since you can be moried if all survivors are downed, makes it harder to get caught if running it. I think it should be a tier higher. Same with Reactive Healing, I love running it after it's bug fix, with a certain build it can be so amazing, totally a time saver. Overall, a very solid list!

    My only thing is with some of the perks you got in excellent is that they are great but situational . For instance adrenaline is a great perk but there gonna be a lot of times you can’t even get the gate open especially if you solo q a lot . Deliverance is another situational perk . What if you get hooked first? Or your teammate unhooks you? Or the killer camps the hook? I think perks that are great no matter the situation are the best perks . Kindred is a excellent perk & very underrated . We all appreciate when someone is using that perk on our team . Works in any situation and gives your whole team a lot of information.

    Personally, Bond is a top tier perk for me, with more value in Solo player, but still useful in compositions.
    Some uses:
    1. See allies auras
    2. If you see an ally running in circles, most probably is that the killer is there, so you know the killer won't come at you.
    3. If you are in a chase, you want to take the killer away from your allies repairing, winning time. If during the chase you get close to allies auras, you can run away from there and avoid allies stop what they're doing.
    4. If you are repairing and see an ally running and being chased by the killer close to you, you can either hide or move to other side if needed, away form the killer
    5. If you see a wounded ally in chase, running towards you, you can take a hit.
    6. If you see a wounded ally not in chase, you can go directly towards them and heal them
    7. In late game, if you open 99%, and a surv is looping the killer, you can go to take a hit or let him know where to go. You don't waste time
    8. In closed maps, seeing the ally in chase in a different floor than you, lets you know that you can keep repairing despite being inside the killer terror radius
    9. Help with flash saves.
    10. If in Solo player and in last hook situation, and if in chase, you might take the killer towards a non-in last hook ally so the killer changes target.
    And I'm sure there are more uses for this perk.

    There are some perks that I think are super underrated and have a ton of potential in the right build, things like Blood Echo, Blood Favor, Dissolution, Forced Penance, etc. that I wish we saw more. Blood Favor plague is my favorite weird combo, cause a lot of people greed pallets when your trying to fully infect them and only drop once infected and downable, but with Blood Favor they can’t use the pallet and will go down

    • @gianglai7346
      @gianglai7346 Год назад +5

      I can see the utility in every perk but Forced Penance. In general, I find the "Broken" status effect underwhelming (except when all gens are finished and gates are still closed, I love Terminus). That's why I don't see "Broken" really as downside when using Deliverance or For the People.
      Sure, survivors are one-shot like when being Exposed - but Healthy exposed survivors don't have access to DH.

    • @echo.1209
      @echo.1209 Год назад +4

      @@gianglai7346 Forced penance is a pretty good counter to SWFs that like to take protection hits. You stop survivors from running in, taking a hit, then quickly healing in a boon or with a medkit. If they take the hit, they become more exposed as they have to wait out the broken status effect. If they hide, they waste time, but if they do gens, they might be caught out without having healed up since taking the hit.
      It's by no means a top-tier perk, but it reduces the rate at which survivors can take protection hits and possibly gets you an easier down or two if lucky.

    • @painfullyavarage4316
      @painfullyavarage4316 Год назад +1

      @@gianglai7346 it’s definitely not universally useful but is incredibly powerful in a few specific scenarios on certain killers, namely Twins and Oni. Twins goes from pretty ineffective to insanely lethal if they are injured because victor is so hard to dodge, and Oni greatly benefits from injured survivors for obvious reasons. I mean just simply based off of numbers a survivor inflicted with Forced Penance will drop 40 orbs during the duration at the absolute least, with 50 needed to completely charge your power. If you include interaction drops, add ons, healing time, etc. Forced Penance literally gives you a free activation of your power.

The fact that it triggers off of ANY stun is what makes this perk one that hasn't left my builds since it came out. It triggers off of DS (granted not as good as before but still nice) pallet stuns (very nice with Smash Hit), Head On, even some of the weirder "counts as a stun" interactions like Blast Mine & flashlight saves (Not blinds but saves) and snapping free from Slinger's chain.

    I think windows of opportunity should be place in the exceent category because you can also see pallettes being dropped and getting broken from the killer. For example if your doin a gen in raccoon city on the second floor and you see a pallette being dropped below you then you dont need to worry about where the killer is.

    And same goes for survivor, even if I play survivor regularly, some stuff was eye opening. Thanks Otz, you're just an amazing player and content creator.

    I think Deja vu is a very underrated perk and deserves to coincide with Kindred because knowing what gens are left ensures you don't 3 gen yourself and it also lays out the killers potential pathings for gen patrols.
    Veteran players may not need it but taking 5 less seconds looking for a gen and playing around patrols adds up immeasurably.

  • @AlaReDuS

    Prove Thyself pairs quite well with Situational Awareness, I found. SA reveals to your teammates the aura of the generator you are working on within a 32 or so meter range, so it allows them to come up to the gen you are working on so that you can get value out of Prove Thyself. It really helped me knock out gens quickly and caused teammates to approach a gen they never would have otherwise.

    • @Roc_Official
      @Roc_Official Год назад

      This is true. This specific strategy is really effective in solo Q. If you are with a squad, you can just call it out without needing the perk.

    • @AlaReDuS
      @AlaReDuS Год назад +1

      @@Roc_Official Agreed, this advice is definitely more geared towards solo q players. I always play solo, so I found this to be the best way to get solo q tm8s to coordinate on a gen with me. Sometimes, it can help build team synergy so much that you might appear like a SWF to the killer!

      I find that I get shot in the foot more than anything else with this perk. I’ll have survivors in chase run at me and get us both screwed so I run bond instead so I can choose when I want to group.

    • @AlaReDuS
      @AlaReDuS Год назад +1

      @@abdyorozco4092 It depends. If it's a survivor on death hook, injured, and being chased, I don't mind them leading the killer to the gens so that they don't get killed and make the team a lot weaker. If you're a sensible survivor not on death hook, especially if you're not from lower/beginner MMR, you will try to actively draw the killer away from the highlighted generator, or at least that's the idea. If that doesn't work, then that's unfortunate.
      But to counter this, I also run bond alongside Prove Thyself and Situational Awareness. It usually tells me if the survivor is being chased, so I know to get a headstart away from the gen.

    Really sad how much calm spirit has fallen from being a mediocre perk to a downright trash perk thanks to the "buff". as a calm spirit main who has 1k hours of game play with the perk, its pretty ok when you get value against all things that make you scream as well as stealth at high level play. But the totem cleansing really makes this perk a hindrance to run. they downright made a perk no one runs even more unappealing which saddens me. I definitely hope it gets buffed in the future since calm spirit is incredibly underrated in my opinion

    Otz is the one to make this game better, BHVR should watch this, see what the awful perks are and work on making them good rather than destroying the currently good perks.
    Pain Resonance I feel is good but not busted while being healthy for the game. It only gets value if killers keep hooking and winning chase. It promotes more chase, rewards chase, and is a negative to camping.
