Excellent video. The topic of proper Exercise and streangt/Hypertrophy is rarely discussed. Allow me to ask you 2 questions about topic of proper strength training: 1. About cadence:(speed of movement): You recommend somewhere between 3-10 seconds. Do you mean that each repetition should last at least 3 seconds and no more than 10secs, or do you mean that we should spend 3-10 seconds on each phase of an exercise (3-10 seconds on the concentric phase and 3-10 seconds on the eccentric phase) 2- Frequency: How often you do recommend to perform a workout? I simple full body workout with 7-8 exercises(3-4 for exercises for the upper and lower body in one session), for example, 1 set to Momentary musculare failure(per exercise) could or should be repeated how many times a week?(2-3 times for example) Thank you Keep up the good work. PS: I would recommend Dr.Doug McGuff. Him and John little have a great book maye the best on the topic of proper exercises(Body By Science. John Little also have a channel named Heavy Duty Collage.
1. 3-10 for both concentric and eccentric with a pause or as slow a change in direction as you can. 2. Frequency depends on what you can recover from, there are lots of factors that play into it but I would think for most people 1 or 2 sessions per week is optimal. I was doing once per week for a while and now changed to twice a week but I might go back to once. And yes I have the book and I recommend Doug often in my videos! Thanks for the comment I appreciate your support 💪💪
