I kinda spread out the grind as I did buy some things instead of others at times and it left me with chunks of acoins before I officially stuck to surge. I would say you are looking at like a 3 month grind generally. I think most played get about 2500 acoins a month if they do dailies/monthies and stuff. Give or take some depending on events. And playing tourney can be on the lower end of 3 months or get you into 2 months. Its just _very_ grindy....

Only one little bit of constructive criticism; try to alternate fire with burst fire weapons. Lead with the one that goes around cover first. This only really applies to enemies with shielded mechs. Try to make a habit of it. It does make a difference.
do you mean for the disruptor? yea i did fire both sometimes because the damage and radius are bad (was using no implants). But since we got the implant discount now, i will definitely be alternating fire more. ty
@@scape211 I was referring to weapons like Emberguns and RPGs. If a shields has 1 hp both simultaneous shots will be absorbed into the shield unless they are alternated. Oddly enough, Disruptors may be the only burst weapon this doesn't really apply to due to it's path damage quirk.
Hey scape, do you know how people get so many points in tournament? It feels like I have to spend more a coins on tickets to be in the higher bracket than I would get as a reward. When I look at gameplays from maxed accounts it doesn't look like they average a lot more kills than me either. Also, should i just buy all the expensive credits items and save my a-coins now that so much has become available for credits, that way i can buy some higher cost stuff that's worth it once i get there?
i have a question i’m in tier 6 but should i buy chain gun 6 because it’s credits and it deals fast damage also is it good if i pair it with brick house?
Those are some decent ideas. I do plan to put gravs on eclipse for a little more since I almost finished the GB achievements for him. Just need a bit more.
@@nitishgad8371 Yea the CG and GB for panther/aegis feel somewhat interchangeable. So CG on panther has been considered fs. I dont plan to get other discs right now, but I may run DL8s on aegis again if i get other stuff higher and hes still below 20 energy.

i never liked surge because my early game experience (1-4k power) was regular ruined by it, i have fought hundreds of players who just only grinded to get surge and once they got it they only upgraded it and nothing else. i don’t blame people for it, if you are going to buy and upgrade a mech might as well go for the best one but it causes people to have 6 star or max surges in 4 star hangers all the time. i don’t notice it much anymore but i’ve avoided upgrading any mechs to 6 stars in fear of being the person with a mech too strong for their power. idk but i’m just salty about dash mechs now because how regularly my experience was ruined by them. anyways great video scape❤
I can completely understand that from having this account. I regularly hit people with 2 and 3 star surges early on. My only defense was guardian and it required good timing (not always reasonable with lag). Very hard to deal with that early since you dont have many options. Admittedly I had Eclipse to fall back on later but the early game experience was rough. I always told the devs I was against the idea of selling stuff super early for weaker stars. Even before the grade update. But after it, it just got worse imo. Paying to upgrade faster and getting something one tier above you is one thing. But people being able to buy surge for 2 stars for less than 10 bucks at tier 2 or 3 is just plain nuts to me. It makes me wonder how many people left because of it.
Since I've gotten so good with my dual nade 12's on my Ares I've decided to rank up my Orion to use dual nade 10's on him. I have maxed Lodestar on my Ares and lvl 1 impulse for Orion lol so alot of grinding ahead. But if I didn't already own the regular 10's I would definitely have gotten the Cryos that got released today. Btw these videos are so good and have helped me alot about understanding that if I have a plan for my hangar it's actually manageable to get a really good hangar without spending. Next rank up is probably gonna be my Surge which I got for 4 dollars at 3 stars tho lol. It's 4 stars now.
Personally I like nades better than the cryos. The AI make the cryos look good because they have aimbot, but i think players tend to do better with nades for more consistent damage. That said, a temp Cryo10/Nade10 build aint bad. I've somewhat. Also a cryo 6/10 build for early game is very reasonable and seems like it would be strong.
Hes up there. I personally think panther and aegis rank higher and would be on the mid or lower side of S tier. I think Orion might be S tier, but its certainly A tier.

tbh I'm not sure. Im in no rush to get DL12s and have largely felt like it wont be of too much value given its cost. Helix is probably going to be the best going forward, but will be for an optional build most likely.

I am at tier 7 right now and have 17 stars if I buy sentinel,VRPG 14 and javelin rack 16 and fragment gun 14 I will be close to tier 8 so I just need one star for that I will rank up my panther to rank 4 (from rank 3). So now I will get access to surge should I focus on buying surge or focus on my 4 star eclipse or make second copy of grav 10 and what weapon should I buy on tier 8

well it depends on what you goals have been and how that changes. like if youve been competitive for a time, maybe you need to focus on achievements or fun challenges. You might also need a group to play with. having friends typically makes any game more fun.
What didn't you like about your teammate in the end there? Their hangar looked balanced for 5k though you didn't click on the nomad so was unsure what embers they had?
@@scape211 if they're 16 energy mechs then they'll likely have one weapon attached. I always considered sp droppers as those who have one strong mech and rest absolute garbage. Kax for example has a lower sp hangar most of the time and nobody calls him an sp dropper? Or am I missing something?
@@LarkArena Yea but thats not really all he was using. Like his redox was 5 stars so it had 24 energy but he was still using a single weapon. Almost all his weapons were purple star and one arm (except nomad). He has one hangar thats 11k that he bumped down to 5k on the other layout while still using a maxed nomad build. To me, that's still a form of SP dropping, but not the typical one where he would use stuff like MD or puma with it.

I think I personally like the idea of nades more, but nades and disruptor are both good. Juist 2 diferent styles of weapon/playstyle. Both have a bit of a learning curve so neither are really 'better' I guess. I just lean more towards nades. Helix arent bad but situational. On the right map they are very good. On the wrong one, they are nearly useless. I am unsure if I want to get and/or invest in them.
@@Aa-rl7po yes but they arent useless entirely and having long range stuff can be critical for certain maps like Agora. You just have to pick your targets more and try to stay away from ML shields or have your team help you break them.

Fun fact: the disruptors are so slow that if an enemy 100m away and you walk towards the enemy then will hit him cause you closed the 9m gap between the enemy and the disruptors

Why do you get put against players that are somewhat equal to your SP while i get put against FLOOs and WHALES bruh. Also, using dual Chaingun 10 on Eggis is a good idea, it's pretty good in CPC, i do advice to have the Chaingun Spin-up time implant.
probably because your SP is higher. When I do hit people at my SP its in unfair matchups too like the 2v3. And when I played with you we hit higher players but not the 10k stuffs. Maybe you are just too OP.

I would put Disruptors on Orion, Chain guns or Gravs on Eclipse and Panther and disks on Aegis.

He was a higher level player using a second lower hangar with single armed weapons. Thats usually in the realm of SP dropping so it was a sus.
