Same here, I like open design buds 3, comfortable for ears , just preordered

I've always preferred the open ear design. I don't like pushing buds tips into my ears.
I did as well, but I need Pro version's extra battery life
Same I like without tips but sound quality won't be as good which is important for me
I'm thinking this will be the main deciding factor for most when it comes to the 2 designs.
After weighing the options, I've decided to wait for a competitor to incorporate the main features of the Pro with the design of the regular buds. The tips in my ear have always been uncomfortable for me.
@@theonlybusterthey can't because noise cancellation will only work when it goes inside of your ear. That's the only reason they have to do it like that for the pro.
Because of that none of the popular brands are gonna have a pro without the silicone/noise cancellation.

Change the rubber ear tips to memory foam. So much more comfortable. Trust you will enjoy them much more.

Your analysis is very clear and understandable. The open ear is my choice always though am using Buds 2 Pro right now but if I want to upgrade now, open-ear is more preferable for me

I prefer the open type earbuds. The ear tips got stuck in my ear canal a few times and had to use tweezers, I was freaking out 🤣

Good take, but will wait till you have another review with hands and ears on facts. I am convinced that in ear or not, one can use the small one and enjoy excellent sounds and phone calls.

I recently purchased a gaming monitor from Samsung, then they gave me a $200 gift certificate to use on their site. I used it to get the Buds3 for free! I thought about going for the Pro's, but that would have cost me an extra $50 plus taxes... Can't beat free!
You could have used their member discounts 5% procent and their shop app discount 10% and they're early bird siciunt code 20euros , I got it for 190 from Samsung,

@simonsemrajc4535 the buds 3 pro fits me better. 3 just falls out of my ear. But both my units had issues. Buds 3 pro has a static noise that keeps coming back, and both of these struggles with uneven seams.

Because speakers have to have holes in them. It makes sense. Water will get in and sound blocked if its closed.

I have the buds live and I love the open ear I was hoping for a sequel but I guess this is Samsung's version of it. I pre-ordered the buds 3 fingers crossed they are as comfortable as my live

@SoniJigar I ended up returning it. It was not comfortable to my ears. The earpiece is bigger so it was pressing out the little piece of skin right by my ear opening I had to look up. It is called the "Tragus" and it made it to painful for me to wear more than 30 minutes. Sound wise I actually think the buds sounded better and when I looked up the specs I saw that the live have a slightly bigger driver and a better battery and are smaller and lighter than the 3. And maybe because I am so used to the live but I did not like the touch controls on the 3 it was to awkward with the side volume to swipe up and down and the press on the stem with the blade shape. But I have small ears so I don't know if that affects it. I am also assuming the pro's are the same as the buds 3 in the size and shape just that they have the extra piece that goes into your ear canal. I hope this helps you.

Plan to get buds3 pro. What about ANC compared to buds2 pro? Because my buds2 pro working excellent still now. But ANC is not good in buds2 pro.

Honestly, I was really looking forward to these Buds 3/3 Pro (the leaks announced multipoint), but like the previous Galaxy Buds since the Buds+, they will not be in my recommendations for my customers and relatives or in my list of future purchases 🤦🏽♂️
Frankly, I can't understand Samsung's stubbornness to want to do like Apple 🍏 and stupidly restrict its earbuds, no standard/real multipoint, no standard Hi-Res codec like LDAC...
Wanting to have an ecosystem is not necessarily bad, but you already have to at least offer features like multipoint and a standard Hi-Res codec... that are standards today on even $50-$80 earbuds, but when to have the minimum people have to be in your "close-system" like Apple's 🍏, I say NO !
Samsung could have created the ultimate earbuds for Android users, and even for Apple users (if an app existed on iOS), but I think this title will come back to Google with its future Pixel Buds Pro 2 thanks to Google Assistant + Gemini 😮💨
Ps: on the other hand, it's really a great product for those who are in the Samsung closesystem.

The problem in which my s23 ultra was not charging happened around 1 week ago. And this week i didnt experienced this problem again. So this would be a software bug or glitch right?No need to worry?
Could be a bug.. ignore it
If it happens again, I'd contact Samsung support. That shouldn't be happening, especially on a top-of-the-line flagship device.

Why these buds don't have IP 68 water protection they are freaking 20k. It's a big bad move by samsung. I feel the only product in samsung's unpacked which is not worth it😢.
