Your observations are “spot on”….I am a male, late 60s….retired military and retired federal law enforcement. Fitness is a part of my life…..and coincidentally, my body “type” much like yours. I’m in the process of getting rid of clothing, downsizing, etc….and want easy-care, slim fitting clothing. I now have three pair of the ED 2.0 pants. Wear ‘em, wash ‘em, and hangar dry ‘em. I’m not into “guys”, but those pants looked good on you. The side zipper pocket thing? I’m guessing it’s so your cell phone isn’t bulging up front, and is down low enough 15:02 to prevent sitting on it. My one complaint is the button closure….I’ve had to “re-see two pair of my ED2.0 buttons, as they were too damned loose. I just so happen to be waiting on a pair of BYLT Tech Denim pants….that uses a stronger “shank” button….I’m hoping I like the TechDenim pants. Nice review, amigo….well done. You seem like a pretty sharp kid (I’m sorry….”kid” was meant to be more affectionate….not meant to be derisive!). I wish you well…and if you’re into an easy care denim, maybe you’ll want to give them a try! Take care of yourself.
I actually prefer the zippered pocket on the side of the leg because that's where I want to store my wallet or earbuds and I don't want to sit on them (if they were instead in my back pocket). Though, the tight fit you described does concern me because I already have enough casual jogger-like pants. The search continues, I guess..
They moved the zipper because no one wants to have to take their phone out every time they sit down. Makes way more sense to have the zipper on the side. Once you find a bend in your phone you'll understand real quick
Is the sizing true to size? I'm a waste 30, but the site recommends me a 31. I'm 5'6", 155 lbs, my typical size is usually stuck smack between small and medium. I like slim fit, but don't like skinny fit.
I think the fit is relaxed imo. Could be cause I've slimmed down on my waist a little since I first got em but they never felt to tight. Never uncomfortable sitting, bending, squatting. I agree 100% on the zipper pocket
Bought the 2.0 a week ago. Size L and I’m 5’11 180. Material seemed too dressy for casual wear. Returned for that reason. But def seems like a solid product.
@@Quantumface I'm 5'10", athletic build, currently 200, but pants fit the same when I'm around 190. The fit pretty good. A little snug through the front hip area, but I don't usually mind a fitted look. Especially, with the stretch these pants have.
@@huffb How was the stretchiness at the waist line? Everyone keeps showing off how stretchy they are from the quads and area below but if my weight fluctuates, are these overall safe to purchase or does the waist band no stretch well?
My concern is the length. Are they too long? Website states 31" inseam. I know many people want that above the ankle look and automatically hem them but I'm cool with standard length as long as the fit. I was hoping you'd cover the length.
Looks like that made in China quality on that button. And yes these pants look a bit too much tighter than the previous version. A little looser would've been perfect
I had a large with the 1.0 version and found the waist to be pretty large and the pants a little baggier overall. The 2.0 in a medium is obviously on the tighter side with a tailored look on the ankle. Anyone have similar experience here?
So I am 6’3” and I think these may be a little too much above the ankle , I unfortunately have to return I know that style is in but these almost look like highwaters for me haha
Thanks for watching my review of the BYLT Everyday Pant 2.0! Have you purchased a pair of these? Regardless, leave your thoughts below.
If I bought the M in the 1.0, would you advise going a size up or is the sizing in the waste close enough to work?
Appreciate the video, DeVory! We're stoked that you dig the pants!

Your first two cons are pros for me but I’m still worried they won’t be slim enough. I’ll have to try them out. Great review!
This is the best review of pants I've ever seen!

Those are some great looking pants. I have a couple pairs. Love them. Nice vid
How’s the size. Is it true to size. I typically wear a 34 with a big backside. But because they stretch should you go down a size or
Can you/ have you done a review on the executive pants?
exceptional review - appreciate the insight. I'm going to give them a try
Have you tried wearing these kind of pants with boots/dress shoes? Would they work with these pants?
It works
Welcome back DeVory!
Thank you!😄

They were smaller than most of the other athleisure brands for me, I needed to go 1" larger because they don't have a stretch waistband.
Appreciate the review! Great job as always

I agree 100% on the zipper pocket
You're right. I think I am a bit biased because I wore Version 1.0 almost every single day. The pocket WTH lol. Thanks for watching.
I have smaller legs but an athletic build and I think they are too tight in the thighs but great in the ankles.

how was the fit for your body size at the size large? We are the same size

I’m 5 10 wearing L and yes 31” is too long.
What’s another brand that offers a comparable pant?
Thanks for the great review. This is so helpful

BYLT is one of my fav brands.

What size did you get?
@@T20202 33
U have been MIA......welcome back
Thank you lol
Also I've had to sew all the bottoms back on because they never last lol
That's why I love the version 1.0 because they had the zipper in the back lol.
Do they have a hidden drawstring?
No hidden drawstring on these pants. I have seven pair of them
Thanks for this!
Great content, have a great day!
It's probably better to wash cold and hang dry for longer lasting
great review
I'm confused, you have a RUclips Short video where you pretty much say the exact opposite and praise the cons.
The pocket is for phone placement. Don’t wanna sit on the new phone.
I have about seven pair of the 2.0
You’re right. The side pocket is for your phone. I like where it is. I keep my phone there all the time
I'm in the same boat brotha! I spent around 2k myself changing my whole wardrobe. Down own the everyday pant. I have 7 of the bylt pants.
I love it! Great investment. Thanks for watching!
Man $120 as of Feb 2023
Your package shows too much. I guess that's good for some.😁
