We did this in my highschool in the Caribbean 🇧🇸. They made it mandatory that we buy past exam booklets (full of exams) for each class and after we finish the content then we would go through the past paper booklets and essentially test ourselves for about a month and got exceptional results if you took it seriously of course. This was only done for major exams, like BGCSE’s and BJC’s
I'm currently writing an essay on effective revision techniques for my psych BSc at uni. I've done lots of research and read several papers around the topic areas but was struggling to actually describe what testing actually was in an academic way. I'm very grateful that I found this video that helped me collect my thoughts before I start writing up my essay :)
So this is going to be a little random, but I really enjoy the way you talk 😊 It's not just the usual spoken language, you use less common words and I think it sounds just beautiful. Also, I'm not a native English speaker and already learned few new words from you and recalled some that I didn't have the opportunity to use😉 Thank you for this and all your hard work, awesome tips and great editing. I'm sure you are an amazing doctor. Much love from Poland ~~
Love the video, thanks so much for giving such a good explanation... but what sources is this based on? do you have any links to recent studies maybe? thanks so much :) keep doing such outstanding work :)
Thank you for the video! May I know where can you find more practice questions? My sch doesn’t really provide a lot of exam qtns :/ Also, do u know how to get free access to uworld question bank?
Google is lit these days and a lot of free questions about. Best is to use actual past exam questions or whatever is closest. Maybe ask people in the year above if they have access?
Thank you for the video!!I've always wondered if it's better with immediate feedback or delayed feedback and other stuff i was wondering about. This video was really helpful!
Can you do a video about motivation and staying focussed? I found your channel through tiktok and so far it’s honestly the best thing 🙏 I’m hoping to get into Cambridge for philosophy but most of my subjects are essay based so practise papers are a bit more difficult
One caveat to pre-testing: it can make you feel horrible and useless if you dive in without prior knowledge Our teacher used to do pre-tests on us when we had no prior exposure to the subject whatsoever, couldn't even piece things together if we tried, and it just wore me down over time until I just didn't want to be in that class anymore
Hi guys, I'm building an application that serves precisely to solve this problem of having to create exercises to study, so you can use it to automate this work for you
