Tridents are known as three-pronged spears, and spears are used for "cutting, slicing, and thrusting". Something that a sword can also do. This series follows after the events of Kirby Super Star Ultra / Meta Knightmare Ultra, and since Spear Kirby didn't exist until Return to Dreamland, I had to use an alternative that closely resembles a bladed weapon. As a massive SMBZ fan, I see a lot of inspiration from that series in this one. Not sure if it's a coincidence or not, but here's what I thought about this episode. -The animation was very clean. You did a great job showing what was happening and I never felt confused this episode. -The speed of the fight felt really clunky. It very often felt really slow, and would constantly freeze on shots instead of continuing and keeping the pace going. I also really don't like how Galacta Knight just crub stomps Meta Knight after his power up and how he just leaves when Kirby arrives. -I dig Galacta Knight being the primary antagonist right now. He's intimidating and cool, although he talked a bit too much for my liking, and as a frame of reference, I don't find him nearly as intimidating as Mecha Sonic / Metallix from SMBZ. -As weird as this might sound, my favorite character this episode was Sailor Dee. Arriving on the chunk of Halberd debris after the fight was such a sweet moment. -I really hope next episode shows more about Galacta Knight, like what he thinks about his benefactor and wondering about if he can trust them or not. He's the character I'm most interested in right now.

This was actually REALLY good. It seems a lot more polished than the original. Plus, the plotholes in the original seem to have been fixed in this rebooted version. Also, who was that that revived Galacta Knight? ...Was it Nightmare?
