I remember the Bears and the Fridge. Went to the packy for booze for the game. Made the mistake of bringing a couple of minors with me. Hell, I was only eighteen myself. Long story short, the pigs took the alcohol after giving me a lecture about transporting alcohol with minors in the vehicle. Our neighborhood Super Bowl party was a bust. Any quarterback could have pulled this off when the defense doesn't allow the other team to score and the other team is a bunch of morons. All it took was one running play in the 4th quarter and this game is over.
Go back and watch the game. At the 6 minute mark 4th quarter if the Falcons would have taken a knee during every down-- they would have won. When they went in to kick the game sealing field goal. Run the ball on second down, even with a stop-- they win. Sometimes Bill allows coaches to out think themselves and they fall into the trap. Run the ball...
Thank you for this gold. Tom Brady is the GOAT he’s been in the same system for 20 fucking years every coach knows it by heart he never has ANY help on offense and he’s so clutch I don’t remember him ever losing a playoff/super bowl game strictly off his gameplay alone which is just unimaginable. Rich MAC Greatest Professional Athlete is different from greatest athlete. Greatest Athlete is Bo Jackson in my opinion. He’s the greatest in the profession across all sports. Gretzky is probably second. Jordan, Ali, Tiger, and Babe Ruth next.

While I agree that White had an amazing game, it is a simple fact (as history has proven) that whoever was playing that position in that game would have had the same result. James White's great game was just Brady being Brady, making the average players around him into superstars.
@@webbygaming1583 I disagree. If you watch what White did at Wisconsin, and what he has done in New England, especially that Super Bowl, not only should he be RB1 for the Pats, he should have been the MVP. I don't recall Faulk ever having a game like that. White is one of the greatest RBs to ever wear Patriot Blue and Red.
@@DougTozier *MVP* ? dude did you just watch this video,White was great but Brady executed every play to perfection.. And White still has away to go before he's a Faulk.. Faulk has played over 100 more games than White and was an absolute exceptional blocking back which is one huge criteria that's greatly over looked.. 3700 yds receiving lifetime Faulk/ compared to 600 for White.. there's no way White is a Kevin Faulk *yet*
@@AlwaysHalloween000 Wow. You are so off on your stats and this conversation. White has 2000 receiving yards in his career with the Pats. But we are talking ONE game where he should have been MVP. He is only the SECOND RB in Super Bowl history with over 100 yards receiving, along with Roger Craig. White is every bit as good as Faulk... NOW! He already has more receiving TDs than Faulk did in his whole career. He also has never fumbled. One area where Faulk excelled is kick returns, which I don't think White does at all. White also is a good blocker. I don't expect you to agree, but IMHO, White is at least as good, if not better than Faulk so far in his career as a Patriot; I just hope he stays.
@@DougTozier you were off long ago when you suggested White over Brady for MVP in the Super Bowl.. There wasn't even a benefit of a doubt except in the brains of people that were just tired of seeing Brady win the S B MVP all the time.

Brady is the GOAT. This is now an undisputable fact. You could certainly argue that technically, Manning, Rodgers, or Montanna may have had a better arm at times, or made a few improbable plays due to their athleticism; certainly almost any other quarterback was a better runner than Brady; but when you look at the position as a whole, and what Brady has done with it, he is miles above the next in line. The debate is over.
Nope. Montana and Bradshaw never lost a Super Bowl and hell Montana never let his team even get behind on the score board. They did this during a time when teams couldn't and didn't cheat as much as the Patriots and Brady did.
ROFL! Bradshaw's passer rating doesn't even put him in the discussion. Montanna went to HALF as many superbowls. I suspect if Joe had been capable of leading his team to 8 superbowls (which he he wasn't, despite having the greatest WR in history with him EVERY year) that he'd have dropped a few too.
@@marKism69 When it comes to Super Bowls, Brady BARELY gets in the top 3. How many has Brady lost? How many has Bradshaw, Montana, etc lost? How many times did Montana or Bradshaw set a Super Bowl passing record only to still choke and lose the game like Brady did vs Eagles? Brady lost three out of eight Superbowls, which is nearly 50%, which means damn near half the time Brady loses SBs. How does Brady, with such a great core around him and solid defense consistently, lose that many Super Bowls? Comparatively, he has better crews around him overall than some of the crews Bradshaw and Montana fielded and he still choked multiple times in the big game. Brady simply is not as great as people think he is. He has benefited from solid cores around, and when he didn't have a solid core, he didn't even make it to the Super Bowl. On top of that, he's benefited from questionable tactics an cheating. If that isn't enough, he's thrown how many interceptions in Super Bowls? 4? 6? I've lost count. I know two of those interceptions have gone down as two of the worst thrown in NFL HISTORY! Every time he loses a Super Bowl, he is an asshole butt hurt sore loser who has NEVER shook the hand of the opposing QB after a Super Bowl loss. Get the fuck out of here with that "Brady is the GOAT" shit. He had the perfect season and STILL choked vs the Giants. GTFO.
@@WGWF1022 LOL! Cody Long loses all credibility about his "opinions"... First, just mentioning Bradshaw in the topic of greatest quarterbacks is beyond absurd (it is Trump level stupid). Cody also made the laughable comment about the "crew" that Bradshaw had. Billy B. is great but you need to know that Gilmore is not the only one who has got a BIG contract! Hightower, Cannon just were paid huge contracts to name most recent players. Oh how I suffered for too many years as a Pat's fan....we were the laughing stock of the NFL. I just smile now and remember that all good things come to those who believe. I never in my wildest dreams could ever imagine a Patriots dynasty..my life is complete.
Pats fan since the 70s, feel ya man
my dad told me about back when he was a kid and the patriots would win like, 20 or 30 games in the 1970s combined.
he said he was watching when bledsoe got hurt and he turned off the TV. the perennial losers, blown out in 2 super bowls, and their QB got hurt? forget it.
a few weeks go by, my uncle asks my dad if he's been watching the patriots lately. when my dad said no, my uncle was like "watch next week. this brady guy, he's pretty good!"
and the rest was history.
I remember the Bears and the Fridge. Went to the packy for booze for the game. Made the mistake of bringing a couple of minors with me. Hell, I was only eighteen myself. Bought the liquor, hoped back into my mom's van, that she let me borrow and got pulled over. Long story short, the pigs took the alcohol after giving me a lecture about transporting alcohol with minors in the vehicle. Our neighborhood Super Bowl party was a bust. The Pat's got their butt's kicked. Pretty much summed up what it was like to be a Patriots fan then. So, please let us have our time as a dynasty. Go Pats!!!

No other QUARTERBACK could of pulled this off, no one!!!!!!!!
Any quarterback could have pulled this off when the defense doesn't allow the other team to score and the other team is a bunch of morons. All it took was one running play in the 4th quarter and this game is over.
@@shaunp8534 wah.

I read your description I think he’s by far the greatest QB ever. Thank you for making this video and I couldn’t help notice the Yankees hat so if you’re a NY guy then I sincerely thank you for making this because a lot of people don’t wanna give this man credit.

Dude, best athlete? Really? He's slow as shit and nimble as a elephant. He has a great aptitude reading defenses and seeing down field but as far as the best athlete - not even close.
Rich MAC Greatest Professional Athlete is different from greatest athlete. Greatest Athlete is Bo Jackson in my opinion. He’s the greatest in the profession across all sports. Gretzky is probably second. Jordan, Ali, Tiger, and Babe Ruth next.

I watched this game in the commons area at my campus dorm. I was the only one rooting for the Pats. I collected apple juice bottles for a week so I could fill them with beer and sneak them in. I was rushing to the patio for a smoke every five minutes, watching the game through the glass door. Oh boy, was that game intense. By the end of the night I’d gone through 2 packs of Camels, a 30-pack of cheap beer and a bottle of champagne. And in the morning, I woke with no hangover and a giant smile on my face.
"we about to put 40 something up on their ass"........he couldn't have been any more wrong

I am a Patriots fan and have to admit when watching this game I almost turned it off and went to bed. Then they scored to make it 28-10. SO GLAD I watched the rest of the game in AWE of Brady! If he isn’t the GOAT, then nobody is! In light of the last SB, I have no doubt Tom Terrific would have won it if not for the fumble at the goal line. The man is unbelievable! Go Pats!
lawyers9 They scored to make it 28-9. They missed the extra point.
If Brady wasn't Brady James White is the MVP, He had a monster game and maybe the best all-purpose back since Kevin Faulk.
Have to admit I changed the channel at halftime. Then thought about it , "can I really call myself a fan if I quit watching ?"

Fact is that Bradshaw's Steelers were arguably the greatest team in NFL history (ponder how many Hall of Fame players on that "crew"). Then the ignorant comment of Montana never being behind in a Superbowl; guess we won't talk about Superbowl XXIII where Montana and the 49'ers were behind 16-13 with 3 minutes on the clock (*hint* think of the famous 92 yard drive to win the game). Oh, the 49'ers were also behind 6-3 and 13-6 at different points in the game. Cody Long is not like Bo, he don't know football.

Something interesting... the last time the Cleveland Browns won a playoff game was in the 1994 season. Head Coach: Bill Belichick. Cleveland had the best HC of all time and they fired him... imagine how the Browns and Patriots histories would be different if Bill had stayed in Cleveland. Lucky for Patriots fans that the Cleveland Browns are the biggest joke in all of pro sports... firing the greatest head coach in history AFTER he was already winning them playoff games! LOL

Billy B. is great but you need to know that Gilmore is not the only one who has got a BIG contract! Hightower, Cannon just were paid huge contracts to name most recent players.
